Such a fun and cheerful story to start your holiday reading! These 7 sisters will make you laugh at their antics. When you add in Aunt Bernie and the menagerie of pets and farm animals, you get a delightful story. There's a bit if romance for two if the sisters and I'm hoping Ms. Brown will add to the Paradise series!
Although I received a free ARC ebook, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Seven sisters, a small town and Christmas, can't miss with all of this in a book. A quick, heartwarming story of family, romance, small town Christmas. Loved the characters.

Oh what a charming Christmas read. Set in a small town, the place where Ursula Simmons and her six sisters grew up, this is a story about family, about coming together again at Christmas and all the dramas it can bring.
The first book in the Sisters in Paradise series it is a great start and it really makes you look forward to seeing what comes next. I love the setting and all the characters as you can relate to the drama when they all come together. It is heart-warming, a little bit magical and at times humourous. It is very easy to read and I found it most entertaining.
Thank you NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Carolyn Brown writes a cute holiday story, but wow…those names. Brown must have been watching “Bewitched” reruns while writing this book. Luna and Endora for real? One thing for sure, I have never seen ‘Endora’ used in a novel before.
The plot is short and sweet. No complaints. There is ample plot development considering the shorter amount of detailing in the book.

Paradise For Christmas is quintessential Carolyn Brown. This story is all about family. There are two love stories that resolve in the story are more are set up for future stories. Ursula comes back to The Paradise because she is going to chase her dream of being an author. Remy has always had a bit of thing for Ursula and he's not going to miss his chance to be with her now that she's moved back home. Luna is in love with Shane but she is trying to keep it quiet so she doesn't hurt her twin sister's feelings. The two women have some obstacles to overcome and the men need to find their patience but in the end love conquers all.
If you are looking for a loving family drama where everyone in the family is supportive and loving then this might be a good book for you to read. It is written with the signature Carolyn Brown down home writing that just flows as you read it. It will just plain make you feel warm and happy when you read it. I will read more from this author in the future.

The Simmons sisters return home for the holidays but this year brings quite a few changes. While one sister recovers from heartbreak, others may be finding their own romance. I always enjoy Carolyn Brown's books and this one was no different. The use of the diary and bringing the connection of Paradise's history into this story was a great addition. The magic of the holidays and the family's traditions were also strong in this story. I also think we all need an Aunt Bernie! She made me laugh out loud multiple times while reading! Thank you to Carolyn Brown, NetGalley, and Sourcebooks for an advanced copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

One thing I love with authors who write series is when they take you back to characters in a previous book and you get to see what is happening in their lives. In Paradise for Christmas we get to revisit seven sisters from a previous book.
Ursula Simmons, the oldest of seven sisters, is returning home. She is an established writer of historical fiction (as is her mother) Struggling with writers block she returns home for the holidays hoping to "find her muse"
This book has all the best of Carolyn Brown's writing. There is snappy dialogue and many family members who lean toward being eccentric. The family interaction is fun and drives the story with all its twists and turns. Of course there is a happy ending with love prevailing, which is the best way to end a story.
This is the first of three books in the Sisters in Paradise trilogy. I enjoyed this book immensely and am looking forward to the next books in the series.
Highly recommended for those who like interesting characters, small town living and a happily ever after.

Paradise for Christmas is a family Christmas story with a heaping dose of romance for the return to home Ursula Simmons, the oldest of seven sisters. By Carolyn Brown, you can count on at least one of the women being full of sass, in this story it is, without a doubt, Ursula’s Great-Aunt Bernie. She is sure a hoot. A story of the magic of Christmas, some four-legged creatures, family, unity and love.
It will be sure to bring a smile to your face just as it did mine. Carolyn Brown is the queen of sassy Southern romance. Read today.
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

From a true Carolyn Brown Fan.

I love the "down home" writing of Carolyn Brown. She gives you honest characters that you can love and laugh with all at the same time. In this Christmas story, she gives us a country family that includes seven sisters that seem to be returning to the nest one at a time, much to the delight of their parents. Christmas is in the air, but so is romance. We get two romances in this book, which always thrills me to death. Of course, there are wayward cows, some baby animals and there had to be snow storms and hot chocolate to increase the enjoyment.
Thanks to Sourcebooks-Casablanka and NetGalley for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

Seven sisters, mom, step dad and a crazy old aunt living in an old brothel....who would have thought this would be a Christmas story! But it sure was fun to read about this family all coming together for the holidays, decorating, baking and enjoying being together. It is what Christmastime is all about! I love how Carolyn Brown makes me laugh!

Ursula Simmons is the oldest of seven sisters. She is a writer with a bad case of writer's block. She comes home to Paradise, where she grew up. hoping to be inspired to start writing again. .Christmas is a magical time at Paradise and it works it's magic on her. This is a cute and easy story to read if you can keep all the characters straight. Thanks to Net Galley for the ARC of this book. I enjoyed it.

This was actually my very first book by this author and even though I wasn’t yet in the holiday reads mood, it was so so good!

Paradise for Christmas by Carolyn Brown is a romance, but the romances take back seat to the family. Mary Jane had purchased the Paradise, a former brothel, to house her seven daughters. She had fallen in love with the man she hired to do renovations and all the girls considered Joe Clay their daddy. Recently great aunt Bernie had moved a small trailer onto the property in which to live with her chihuahua, Pepper. They didn’t really want her in the house, but she was not suited to a nursing home and she was family. Mary Jane was a novelist and her most successful books were based on a series of journals written by the residents of the Paradise. Joe Clay had found them during the renovation. Remy, Remington Baxter, lived next door where his parents had lived for years. He was Ursula’s crush in school and it looked like he still was. She had quit her job to come home for a year and work on her next novel, when Remy mentioned his gg-grandmother who had been a mail-order bride. He had her diary.
Eventually all seven sisters made it home to the Paradise for first, Thanksgiving, and then, Christmas. They spent a lot of time together and it felt good, to all of them. They were going to the city in Joe Clay’s van to shop when they nearly had a serious wreck, trying to avoid a deer in the road. It was a life changing moment for all of them, clarifying their paths forward. This was a thoroughly entertaining novel, full of diverse, well-written characters. It did not focus on romance, but it was there. Ursula found herself bound up in Daisy’s diary and in Remy, who taught at the college and was a small-time rancher. Watching him fend off women was beyond entertaining. There were so many amusing things in this book, I can’t begin to list them. But, most of all, it was full of love. This was far from the perfect family but don’t tell any of them that. Good read.
I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Paradise for Christmas by Sourcebooks Casablanca, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #SourcebooksCasablanca #CarolynBrown #ParadiseForChristmas

Paradise for Christmas is a charming story focusing on Ursula and Luna, the oldest and youngest of the seven Simmons sisters. We get to meet Aunt Bernie, who is a whole vibe. We get to meet Remy & Shane, both of whom Aunt Bernie is bound and determined will be the perfect husband's for Ursula and Luna. This is a close-knit large family that makes the holidays and just overall every day living so fun. I can't wait for more of their stories.

Unfortunately this book did not hold my interest like I hoped it would. It was very repetitive which made me lose interest quickly.

Set in a small town in Texas and including the most lovable characters one would ever hope to meet, this book is a Christmas treasure. The characters are the Simmons sisters and their parents, along with the humorous and gregarious Aunt Bernie. All of the sisters are coming home for Christmas and the drama is centered around Ursula who has quit teaching to pursue a career in writing, but she is suffering from writer’s block. The other featured character is Luna, a twin who is in love but who doesn’t want to upset Endora, her twin who just had a bad breakup. The story is really a story within a story as Ursula gets new inspiration from an old journal writes her book within the story of the family coming home for Christmas. There is some fascinating history here that reveals the heart and research that author Carolyn Brown poured into this novel. With laughter, a few tears and a lot of fun, the family has one of the best Christmases ever within the pages of this memorable and fast-paced book.

Paradise for Christmas by Carolyn Brown is a heartwarming story.
As always, Brown provides an uplifting story.
I will always read her books and her newest novel was another delightful, well written amazing read.
Her writing always keeps me hooked and her characters I always feel so connected to.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read this ahead of its publication date in return for my honest review.

The Simmons sisters were raised by a single mother, Mary Jane, in a former brothel. Ursula Simmons is a writer like her mother, but she’s currently having writer’s block and has returned home for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and to try to break out of the slump she’s found herself in. She reconnects with her former crush, Remy Baxter, who lives next door. Remy is a descendant of Daisy, the long-deceased former owner of the brothel, and he loans Ursula Daisy’s diary in hopes that it will help her get past her writer’s block.
Younger twin sisters Endora and Luna are also at home again. Endora is down on love because of her cheating ex and discourages her sisters from wanting to get involved with men. Luna is holding a secret that she’s afraid to tell Endora. The other sisters will also be arriving for the holidays to spend time with each other, their mother, stepfather Joe Clay, and Aunt Bernie.
A delightful holiday story about family dynamics, new beginnings, new love, hope, and more.

I’m one to always snap up a book by Carolyn Brown. They’re fun, sassy, interesting, and romantic without being too much. So when I saw Paradise for Christmas offered on NetGalley I jumped on it.
Paradise for Christmas looked especially interesting because I’d read its inspiration, Trouble in Paradise, years ago. I loved getting to know those girls as they found themselves a daddy. So I have high hopes for this series featuring the sisters.
Paradise for Christmas was a good Christmas-themed romance, but, it was more a book about a family… and I love the family. The sisters’ relationships, their history, and their personalities are at the forefront of this novel. Coming from a larger family has loads of quirks – mostly wonderful – and it is fun to experience it through another’s eyes. Especially when you see it through their eyes as a child and as an adult.
