I didn't realize there was a book 1 which I will go back and read but I still very much enjoyed this authors writing style and the story itself.
Review in progress and to come.
I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review
When I requested this book I didn’t realize at the time that Grave Danger was a sequel. So I spent last night reading book one, Grave Secrets, and spent this morning reading Grave Mercy.
Alice James, you have yourself a hooked fan!! I’m honestly upset that there are currently only these two books of Toni Windsor for me to read. I could spend days reading about the misadventures she gets herself into.
I’m very happy to see that Oscar is out of the picture, as I got a bad vibes from him even in the first book. And I’m devastated about Peter. You’ll bring him back, won’t you?
I see that there’s a third title on the way, and I can’t wait!
9/10
I loved Alice’s first book so much and have been eagerly anticipating the follow up for years, so I was delighted to read this and it didn’t disappoint. I love the funny, chatty tone of the book and the side characters are all brilliant. The mash up of mystery/ romance/ comedy and vampires is pure escapist joy. Any scene with Benedict steals the whole show for me and if they do not end up together I will riot. IMAGINE how hilarious and hot it would be watching the two of them try to have a relationship. SWOON.
