An interesting take on a popular tale. This unique perspective on the life of Anne Frank will be a valuable tool for students in middle grade learning about World War II and the Holocaust.

Kitty was imaginary when Anne wrote to her, but after a thunderbolt hits the Anne Frank House she comes to life not knowing that 75 years have passed and so has Anne. Kitty tries to track down Anne's story while the community tries to track down the missing diary.

This book does a nice job of telling Anne's story as well as the importance of her legacy.

Where is Anne Frank is a fantastic and moving graphic novel told through Kitty, Ann Frank's imaginary friend. The illustration are perfect and they fully portray the emotion expressed through the text. This is a must for all YA graphic novel collections!

What if Kitty from Anne Frank's diary was actually a real person? This graphic novel explores this concept. Kitty comes to life in the Anne Frank museum as a manifestation of the diary. Kitty is confused and alone. She struggles to find out where Anne is and what happened to her. This story follows and includes part of the diary. I really liked the art style and how beautifully illustrated Kitty is.

Highly recommended to read with Diary of Anne Frank or a WWII literature unit.

I'm not quite sure what I thought of this book. It almost seems like a commercialization of Anne Frank that makes me a little uncomfortable. I was a bit wary at the graphic adaptation from these author, but thought it was absolutely fabulous. After reading this one though, I'm still on the fence. I will probably buy it because graphic novels are so popular, but am much happier recommending Anne's original diary or the graphic representation.

Very good book that will go into classroom library. Speaks of the holocaust but how we can use Anne’s words to better help all humanity with our history.

The concept comes out of left field but the story has a lot of heart. I appreciate that this was made by the same creative team that adapted Anne's diary. They bring the issues that the residents of the Secret Annex and the millions persecuted by the Nazis to the modern day concisely and without pulling their punches.
