This is a good book. The two main characters are Brittany and Xavier. There is an instant attraction. Brittany is a wedding planner. Xavier owns several hotels. They meet when Brittany is the wedding planner for her best friend’s wedding. The groom is Xavier’s foster brother. They start dating. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Zane Rodriguez is supposed to be abstaining from sex to improve his playboy reputation so that he can work with a kids non profit, but one look at Brittany Adair, best friend to Zane's foster brother's fiancee at their joint bachelor/bachelorette party and he can't take his eyes off her. Especially when she performs in a burlesque number on stage.

Brittany is feeling down from having her loan application rejected and having Zane keep staring at her all evening gets pretty annoying until she finally confronts him. What follows is a night of hot sex and the knowledge that they'll see each other at future wedding activities. Both Brittany and Zane have emotional baggage to cope with - Zane having ended up in foster care when his parents died young (illness and suicide) and Brittany having a very well off and socially upstanding family to whom she's trying to prove that she can make it on her own. Then Brittany discovers that she's pregnant and now there's a whole new road for her and Zane to walk down. I enjoyed the story and the characters. The sex is steamy and I liked how the plot unfolded and how Brittany and Zane work their way towards a happy ending. I enjoy this author a lot and am always ready to read more!

Amanda Usen was a new author for me, but I do love an unexpected pregnancy trope so I was happy to receive an ARC of this book. This book hit the spot for me. It was well written, I loved the characters and how they developed both separately and together.
Loved it, and will absolutely go read book 1 of the series now!

Romcom AND accidental pregnancy trope is my thing!! Amanda Usen did an amazing job justifying the characters and back stories of the MCs. I love how this is a balance mixed of everything plus spicy *winks*

For me, it's an easy read and I really love the development of each characters. This my first book from Amanda Usen and thank you NetGalley! Highly recommend this one ❤️‍🔥

The chemistry between them is intense, and their journey of self-discovery and overcoming fears is beautifully portrayed. With themes of love, acceptance, and personal growth, this book is a must-read for those seeking a heartfelt and steamy romance. Highly recommended!"

Thank you to NetGalley, Entangled Publishing, and Amanda Usen for sending me this book to read!

I thought this book was a very quick and easy read. Both characters had great qualities to them that got you hooked from the start. Britt’s I feel is a character that does a complete 180 to in the book just from the story line of the two couples which I found very interesting.

If you really like to read some spicy content, don’t worry that is definitely in this book.

(All opinions are my own)

I was so excited to read this, the premise sounded so good. Unfortunately for me, I did not click with this story, or the characters hardly at all.

This book has all the components to be amazing, and others might think it is beyond awesome. It's just not one for me.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read it.

I'm throwing stars at this little number folks. You know when you have a trope you're not huge on but then an author pops up with a novel that changes your mind? Whelp, here we are and that's exactly where I am with Amanda Usen's newest release, One Night Stand with Benefits! Told in dual POVs and (cherry on top) can be read as a standalone!

The reason I'm so smitten is because pregnancy in romance is hit or miss for me but I've got to hand it to Usen for her execution of it in this book. It doesn't overrun the storyline and the steam doesn't die the instant the B word hits the page.

On top of that I ended up loving the MCs. Brittany comes from an obnoxious and wealthy family. She's everything her family is not; kind, open hearted, hard working and not leaning on inherited wealth as she pursues her dreams. Talented burlesque dancer and kick ass wedding planner, all she needs is that loan from the bank to really watch her business take off. Enter stage right with the sexy and dominating, Xavier (god I love that name). Trying to fix his notoriously promiscuous name to land a job close to his heart.

These two characters are capital H- hawt. I adored the chemistry from their first night of office debauchery all the way till the end. I did have a little delay getting into the groove of the story at first and connecting with Brittany. Once Xavier enters the scene though, things start to just flow. The banter is fun and I liked seeing the different flaws come out and compliment the storyline too. So relatable.

We all know they need to break-up to make-up in a romcomy romance and I was a little on the fence for the reasoning. Don't get me wrong, as a woman who gets in her feelings, oh I get it, but it almost didn't fit until the deeper meaning comes to light. At that point I'm just cheering for these two. This was such a fun romance read. The ups and downs and allowing yourself to give into that scary little thing called love. *Swoon*

Now to go hunt down One Night Stand After Another! Thank you Entangled Publishing for the gifted digital copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review! You know just what this little lusty heart loves!

A cute story but it felt flat. The characters have baggage that has shaped them and their interactions and its glossed over.
We don't get much romance development and its just smexy time.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Brittany is an aspiring wedding band party planner and is in the midst of her best friend’s engagement party when she meets the eye of Xavier, the groom’s brother. Instant heat ignites and by the end of the night, they engage in a super hot entanglement.

And here’s where the story goes south for me. I hate the surprise baby trope. I hate it as a plot device and I hate it as the baby is somehow supposed to give redemption to a main character.

I think the relationship between Brittany and Xavier is super hot. It’s a steamy romance. I just wish they would have wrapped it up better and not have the baby as part of it.

Thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for this eARC. One Night Stand with Benefits is out now.

Thank you so much for letting me read this book! I loved it! It was my first book from Amanda Usen and I was obsessed! Xavier even though he didn’t want commitment I knew he would want it if the right person came along. Brittany was perfect for him. He gave her the acceptance she craved from her family. The spice was unbelievable!!! Great read!

Thank you NetGalley, Entangled Publishing, LLC, and Amanda Usen for sending me an arc of this book. All opinions here are mine.

In the beginning, the story unfolds in a fantastic way, it's super sensual and Xavier conquers you in two seconds. Britty is also seductive, tough and smart, a dedicated businesswoman. At first, it's all one intense explosion and boom, it's over.

After just a week relating to Xavier, Britty becomes clingy and complaining, she even seemed like another character, we no longer see that strong and empowered woman, she simply disappeared. Also, the trope didn't really appeal to me, I don't like that 'surprise' thing so much, I think it influences the course of the story a lot.

Another point I didn't like was the excess of naughty, let's say. It's good to read a hot book, with emotional and sensual scenes, but I think there is a limit, I also want to see the couple doing cute and romantic things, normal things in a couple's life, outside the bedroom, without dirty talk and innuendos all the time all.

Overall, this is a pretty quick read and leaves you intrigued, but there are problems related to the development of the narrative, some holes, some things that are too rushed (for example, the way Brittany settles with her family, which she hates their whole lives, overnight and everyone becomes great friends). Other than that, the author is great, I think this book is pretty ok for a first experience writing (encourage small authors and publishers, this is important).

One Night Stand with Benefits was a well written romantic comedy with some heat and some surprises. Brittany is planning her friend's wedding. This is her life dream; to be a wedding planner. She meets Xavier at the party which leads to a one night stand. Xavier is the groom's adopted brother. I liked Xavier even though he had some childhood trauma that made it practically impossible for him to form relationships. The author

If you enjoy a rom com with steam and the accidental pregnancy trope you will enjoy this one. I am typically not a fan of this trope but the author did a great job making it an enjoyable read.

It was a cute short novel. However it’s unbelievable realistically for me. I know it’s just a story. I can actually see it as a fantasy if one got pregnant unexpectedly after one night stand. That’s all it is to me, a fantasy. Story plot was good. Getting to know the characters was strong. It is a fast paced reading which I finished reading within 2 hours. If you enjoy a quick fast paced with smut, then this is for you.

Thank you Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for an ecopy of this book.

I am always going to have a soft spot for the forbidden love story, so the evolution of Brittany and Xavier quickly warmed my heart. Brittany being an aspiring wedding/party planner lead her to meet her suppose-to-be one night stand Xavier at her best friend Clara's wedding. Life unfolds for the two of them in one of the most permanent ways, causing them to not only reevaluate their own lives and families, but what their lives might look like together. This was a fast, light-hearted, and somewhat steamy romance read. I would definitely want to know what happens to the pair in the future. 3/5 stars.

Thank you NetGalley and the author for a copy of this book for my honest review.

Outstanding rom-com with steam, passion, and love. The Perfect combination.
Besides the fact that this is a well-written, totally engaging story, I liked how the author handled the baby issue.
Because Clara, Brittany’s BFF is getting married, Brittany promised she would do the planning. After all, that’s what Brittany hopes to do: open a Wedding Planning company. If she could just get the financial loan she needs. She is determined not to use her family’s exceptional wealth for her start-up. Since he’s in town anyway, Xavier is encouraged by Clara’s fiancé, Zane who is his foster brother, to attend the Bachelor/Bachelorette combined party. There he meets the very enticing Brittany. Here is the problem. One night with her is not enough for Xavier. Then the surprise baby comes up. What will they do?
This was a humorously witty rom-com that I could not stop reading. There was a poignant moment with Mr. B. And then there was the break-up. If you like well-done romance with wit, passion, and revelations, you will want to read this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Entangled/NetGalley.

One Night Stand With Benefits by Amanda Usen is a trope packed story - one night stands, an unplanned pregnancy and overcoming odds is easier when you have friends to lean on. Friendships matter when family drama is next level fun with witty banter and too many laugh out loud moments to count make this a must for your summer reading stash.

Brittany Adair planned a bachelorette party for her best friend and took home an unexpected party favor. Forced to face the reality that her dreams hit a roadblock in spite of her family name, she must now find the courage to stand up for what she wants. Can she win over those who can make a difference? Will she be able to trust the feelings are real?

Xavier has overcome a painful childhood and trauma that could've set him on a different path. A foster child who must now decide what matters most to achieve his dreams, and the price he's willing to pay for it. Will things change when Brittany shares her news?

When expectations fall short sometimes it is the unexpected new opportunities that make our lives better. Will Xavier and Brittany survive their surprise and figure things out before they lose the one thing money can't buy, a forever kinda love.

This was a new to me author and after I finished this book I one-clicked One Night Stand After Another despite the already growing stash I have because I enjoyed this.

It was pretty good but accidental pregnancy kind of annoyed me, redeemed slightly because it was written well. I liked how Brittany’s relationship with her family evolved but thought it was slightly unrealistic that all of a sudden they just flipped and became friends. The smut was really good though so 3.5 stars
