The premise was interesting but unfortunately I couldn't engage much. This book needed more editing. It was too convoluted with so many timelines.

A terrific family saga which really resonated with me, being set in both Kent and London. The relationships are both complex and too familiar and will no doubt strike a chord with many readers. I enjoyed the nostalgia of stepping away from the present day in this book’s setting, too.
