Jocelyn's twin sister, Ilse, has a boyfriend emergency and needs Jocelyn to pretend to be her for several live television episodes. There's just one tiny problem: Jocelyn can't bake, craft, sing, or anything of the things that Ilse does on the show. Jocelyn decides to do her best and hope things go well. The cohost, Ben, figures out the switch pretty early, but it is in his best interest to help Jocelyn. He helps her to avoid several disasters, and they begin to get close with the help of Snowball. But not everyone is happy with the situation, so there are several obstacles to overcome. I liked that this was a spin on Christmas in Connecticut. I also liked Ben and Jocelyn as a couple. Lots of fun!

Snowball Unwrapped is such a cute quirky novel about how Jocelyn swaps places with her twin sister Isle and Jocelyn ends up being her sister Isle on tv. When they do this then Isle career is on the line but will Jocelyn be able to pull this of for her sister? This cute Christmas book is a prefect light read for any Christmas or romance fans. I would recommend this book to anyone! The author did a good job writing this book I even liked the cat's perspective in this book too. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for this ebook. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Ilse needs to take care of some personal matters (a rat of a fiance) and so convinces her twin Jocelyn to step in for the filming of 5 episodes of her show-and this changes everything. Jocelyn might not be a crafty cook but she tries hard. Ben, Ilse's co-host, finds himself a little confused because he's feeling some positive things, little frissons he's never felt before. But wait- what about our friend Snowball the matchmaking cat? Well, Snowball has to deal with Angel, who is not an Angel at all. I so enjoy this series for Snowball the cat- a romantic at heart who does everything a cat can do to make human. love matches. Yes it's a little silly at times but it's a relaxing and fun read with- wait for it- a happy ending. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Made me smile.

Snowball, the mischievous, adorable, matchmaking white kitty is back for a fourth round at the beautiful Weber Haus B & B in Snowball Unwrapped.. This time, she must try to match Jocelyn Becker, who's taking her twin sister Isle's place, to film live shows of Home and Hearth with Ben, who's supposed to figure out why the show's ratings are so low and bring them back up. Add in a Snowball look-alike named Angel, and the fur might really start flying! Will Snowball's matchmaking skills triumph once again? And what about Angel, who's really more like a devil cat?

This was another delightful Snowball story! There was some language in the book, which I'd gladly do without. If you've read the other books in this series or are a cat lover, you definitely won't want to miss this fun Christmas book!

I’m such a sucker when it comes to heartwarming books involving animals (dogs and cats, especially.) In Snowball Unwrapped, the novel isn’t so much about Snowball, the resident cat, it’s about the budding romance facilitated by the wile and crafty cat. Snowball, you see, has a gift no other cat has. The gift of matchmaking.

Snowball Unwrapped was such a feel good book. It’s perfect for the upcoming holidays and is filled with Christmassy vibes. The story is told from a third person’s point of view and it also includes Snowball’s perspective which I loved. Snowball’s personality shines through in this novel. The author has a knack for humanizing the cat character. So much so that I almost envisioned Snowball as another human.

I loved all the other characters in the novel. They were well developed and fleshed out to get a sense of each of their personalities. The only exception would be Ilse whose demanding and obtuse behavior just made her come across as “Miss Diva” throughout the novel. But Ilse does redeem herself at the end, which made for a lovely finale.

The plot follows an opposites attract trope. And the attraction is prodded along by the smart, insistent, and adorable white cat who is a resident of the local inn. It’s a cute story. However, the narrative got somewhat repetitive having the same theatrics of live filming of a show with various Christmas themes.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Snowball Unwrapped and look forward to reading more from the author about Snowball’s adventures. Four solid stars.

I received a DRC from Kensington Books. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

I loved reading about Snowball. Such a sweet, cozy read! Strong characters and a nice story line. Hope to read more books by this author!

Snowball Unwrapped is book 4 in the series, but they can be read as standalones. After all, I found myself reading them completely out of order, and it's fine. Like for the other books, I find Snowball's adventures fun and entertaining. In this one, I enjoyed the quirky fun from the twin swap, and the two main character's backdrop: they're shooting a tv show, and it gives all the festive vibes. I wish I'd got more POV from Snowball, but overall, it's nice enough.
Thank you to Kensington Books for an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

A light-hearted holiday story with a matchmaking cat.

Since I have read the other Snowball books, I couldn’t wait to read this one too. In this book, Snowball is matchmaking co-stars of a reality show that is being filmed at Weber Haus. But this time, there is a bit of a twist to the story and Snowball is left wondering if she is matchmaking the right couple. The book is sweet with lots of fun and playful scenes and one great big secret. This book is not just for people who love cats. It’s for anyone who loves a good clean romance story.

I have to be honest and admit that a series where the character who drives a lot of the action and connects the different books is a cat, isn't one that I thought I would enjoy that much. Not that I don't like cats, quite the opposite. It's just not what I usually look for in a book, particularly a romance. It works well in these snowball books and I've enjoyed them all so far.
This time there's a tv series being filmed, the usual star of the show has to flight halfway around the world to try and save her relationship, so she gets her twin sister to stand in. Although they look exactly alike, they don't think or behave in the same way and while Ilse hates her co-star, her sister Jocelyn feels quite differently. Especially when a certain kitty tries to help things along.
This was a fun, sweet read. Not my usual kind of thing, but this is an author I particularly enjoy and I think that's what makes this book. All in all a good read.

This is a super sweet story about an adorable cat named Snowball who is good at charming the humans around her to get her way. Snowball likes to play matchmaker. It isn't surprising that when Ben and Ilse (who is really her twin sister Jocelyn) arrive at Weber Haus to host upcoming episodes of Home and Hearth, a popular TV home and garden show, Snowball decides they are her next romance project. Being a cat lover, this book pulled me in from the first page. Thanks to the author Kristen McKanagh, Kensington Books, and NetGalley. I received a complimentary copy of this ebook. This is the fourth Snowball book. I loved it! It can definitely be read as a standalone book. Snowball is up to her usual antics trying to get a couple to realize they are meant for each other. The setting is in the beautiful Weber Haus, a gorgeous Victorian Inn with surrounding shops. Cats, Christmas, and romance … what’s not to like!

Snowball Unwrapped is a light romantic read set in a perfect Christmas backdrop.

There are earlier books about Snowball and her matchmaking. I haven’t read them but this one is certainly a standalone story.

Ilse is the host of a TV show called Home and Hearth that features cooking and craft segments. Her fiancé is double timing her, so she convinces her identical twin sister Jocelyn to stand in for her while she sorts her personal problems.

Not only do they have vastly different personalities, but Jocelyn also lacks the craft and culinary skills of Ilse.

The episodes are to be filmed in the grand Victorian building Weber Haus that has been converted to a up market B&B.

Ilse is always at odds with her male co-host, Ben, who she thinks is trying to take over the show. Whereas there is a romantic spark between Ben and Jocelyn. Snowball recognises the signs and sets out on her matchmaking endeavours.

Ilse’s career is on the line but will Jocelyn’s lack of talent and friendship with Ben completely destroy Ilse’s future.

Many amusing moments threaten to expose the secret Jocelyn is trying to hide and foil Snowball’s matchmaking between Jocelyn and Ben, all set in a picture-perfect winter wonderland.

The story is so much fun it is easy to forget you are reading a romance novel. I loved the intrigue surrounding Jocelyn’s deception and the comical moments it produced.

Living in Australia we don’t get to experience the perfect white Christmas (or even a cold one) but we can dream. The Christmas themed setting with snow falling Christmas lights and holiday shopping is beautifully portrayed around the Victorian.

The story line moves along smoothly with no slow patches. The dialogue is believable. For the most it is told in the 3rd person with a scattering of 1st person paragraphs by Snowball.

Characters are relatable and well portrayed. The nice ones are fun and easy to like, and the nasty ones perfectly depicted.

Snowball, the resident cat is very sweet and makes you want to pick her up for a cuddle but be warned there is an evil look alike lurking.

I rarely read romance these days but love animal stories. It is a book I was happy to relax and ignore problems around me while being transported to a Christmassy winter wonderland.

I loved the characters and the delightfully different storyline.

Highly recommended for romance readers.

Even though I’m not a great romance reader I’ll be keeping an eye open for books by this author.

My rating 4* as a light holiday read.

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for the advance reader copy.

I am not familiar with Kristen McKanagh's Snowball serious, but people a pet lover, I am always interested in finding a new author who writes about animals. Snowball Unwrapped provided a fun read.

Having a matchmaking, mischievous cat is reminiscent of a Hallmark movie and this story is no exception as Snowball tries to bring a couple together at a romantic Bed and Breakfast Inn.

The plot moves along nicely and the reader can easily picture the story unfolding from the view of the cat. Fun for everyone, not only cat lovers.

Thank you to Net Galley for providing an ARC of this book.

A great read the characters were interesting, loved Angel the mischievous cat and the story was intriguing. A very charming and Christmas themed book. Will look out for more by this author.

I love this series, and I'm not usually a huge sucker for holiday romance, even the cat-centered ones. Or rather, I love the idea in theory, but rarely in practice. *These* I love, an this fourth entry is no different! I'll read and recommend them as long as McKanagh puts them out.

A lively story with an adorable matchmaking cat as the supporting actress. This seems to be part of a series but, I haven’t read any of the others. It didn’t matter as the story is easy to follow, the characters are full of surprises and escapades. It’s a fun and touching read about what family does for each other.
Twin sisters, Ilse and Jocelyn, may look alike but their personalities are like fire and ice. Think glamorous or casual, aloof vs friendly, graceful vs klutz, haughty or down-to-earth. You get the picture. Ilse has selfishly placed her twin sister in an impossible situation. Boyfriend troubles have Ilse fleeing the country, leaving Jocelyn to lie about her own identity and trying to fool the entire crew and audience on a live TV show.
The episodes are being filmed at the perfect Christmas setting where resident Weber Haus cat, Snowball, lives. The TV show has it’s own cat, Angel, AKA the devil cat. Angel is trouble and Snowball gets the blame. Shenanigans are rampant. The actors, set crew and staff are a fickle bunch, some with backstabbing tendencies. Despite attempts to maintain professionalism, love draws unlikely individuals toward each other. Romance blooms like spring flowers.
There’s a reason why lies and secrets never work, the truth always surfaces, just a matter of when. Will it result in havoc or new beginnings? This is a wonderful story for anytime of the year, not just for Christmas! I really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

I received a free copy of, Snowball Unwrapped, by Kristen McKanagh, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Oh how I missed Snowball and her humans. Jocelyn is not sure how she was tricked in to acting as her sister Ilse, on tv. Wow Jocelyn has to truly love her twin to cover for her on national tv, especially since she is no Martha Stewart. Snowball has her own troubles going on with a look alike cat on the loose. Such a delightful read, a quirky holiday novel.

Snowball is in all his glory. The inn is going to be featured in a show about the holidays on TV. He is more than ready to make his debut on TV—after all, as he says, he is just so adorable no one can resist him. The story covers a home show where there is a female host and male co-host as well as other actors who come in and out. The big problem is the female host has a boyfriend emergency and won’t be available for the filming. She convinces her identical twin sister, who is nothing like her but looks alike, to take her place. As the filming proceeds, the reader is given a Christmas-y look at the town and the various activities/events normally associated with the holiday, while watching the female stand-in adapt to the role and become friends with the male co-host (who, her sister is convinced, is trying to replace her on the show and thus off-limits for friendliness and attention). Snowball has set his match-making sights for the book on bringing two people together. There is also a show white cat who makes a few appearances, coming across as a mean-spirited cat—unlike Snowball. Can the female co-host’s identical sister pull this off? Her sister’s job and career probably depend on its success. How about the rest of the crew, to include the male co-host?

Like the other books in the series, I loved this book. Snowball is one heck of a cat. He steals the show. The book is well-written. The characters are well-done. The setting only adds to the story, as I love the holiday season. I recommend this book (and any of the others) to anyone who enjoys a good read or cats or other pets. I received this from NetGalley to read and review.
