I really liked this book, very clear sections with easy to follow tips and tricks. I liked how it gave examples of typical problems and then how to perhaps solve them with why they might be problems in the first place.

"If something is worth doing, it's worth doing badly, because at least it is done!"

The core principle of the book is efficiency over all else. Specifically, efficiency in completing an organisational task. This definitely makes sense, and I think is useful for all people. I am going to apply some of the suggestions and tips in my own life; so there has definitely been some positive takeaway from the book.

I would not be the right person to comment on whether the book is structured in an ADHD-friendly way. Reading some of the other feedback, it does seem that there is some benefit to the little sticky note highlights in the book, which summarise key points. But there are others who have said that there needs to be something more for it to truly engage a reader with ADHD.

As a person with ADHD, I don't agree with all the advice in this book - but there's a lot of good, concrete stuff in here, certainly enough that I think it's a great addition to the collection.

A friend recommended this book a while ago to help me manage my thoughts wandering/getting overwhelmed by tasks and I found a lot of the advice helpful - and some of it I agressively disagree with - but like any self help book, YMMV. I love the way the pages are set up - with the most important tidbits highlighted in little boxes to ensure you grab the bones of the lesson - that made it feel like the author really understood thier audience. I also love that it keeps getting updated as trends and electronics evolve to keep the advice relevant.

I definately have ADHD, and now I realize how it affected my entire life. I'm just about to be 60, but this book helped me realize that I can use many of these tips and solutions in my life. I loved this book. You don't have to have ADHD though. If you believe in being organized, you'll also get a great deal out of this book.
Thank you to Quarto Publishing, NetGalley and the author for an e-ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

As with all tools for neurodivergent people, your mileage with this book may vary. But personally, I found this to be incredibly insightful and helpful! I liked the layout and how the different tips and recommendations are visually separated into their individual steps as well as the inclusion of extra notes and some pictures! It was very easy to get a clear understanding of the actionable steps I can take to organize my space separated into the different rooms. And rather than focusing on aesthetics, the methods clearly focus on function and realistic living conditions! Additionally, I appreciate that even though this book proposes rules and solutions, it never feels patronizing or prescriptive. Whether you have ADHD or not, I think this book includes a lot of helpful advice to guide any organizing project big or small.

As someone with ADHD I can only welcome the content in this book.

It’s decided in two parts and I feel like the design made it clear and easy to follow along. It gave me encouragement to execute some of my plans which I appreciated.

Overall I highly recommend it!

Really good advice that i’ve put into effect in my own life already, and most seem to be working a treat. I do like how the book is quite simple to read and get through but it lacks something, illustrations or a little more colour maybe? As someone with ADHD i find i need a little more something to keep me interesting in carrying on. Probably could work well for someone reading to help someone else with ADHD however.

This updated version of the book is filled with some really really good tips and tricks I plan to use every day. The book is divided into two sections a general organizing section, and a deeper dive into organizing in different areas of the home. I really enjoyed reading this and I can’t wait to implement some of the tricks I learned here.

I loved the earlier edition of this book. I hope that I will love this one as well. Unfortunately, the eGalley was formatted so that it was completely unreadable for me. I hope this is not the case for the eBook once it’s published!

I’ve read a previous edition so had already learned from the author’s wisdom (my kitchen has been completely overhauled and now works for me). The updates have come at precisely the right time for me in terms of the next house project - my office! I’ll definitely refer back to this book as I go. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an arc.

Really enjoyed this book, very practical advice for people with ADHD as well as those who may be supporting them.

I really enjoyed the pictures to illustrate the points made as well as the bold text to highlight important points.

Geared more towards an American audience, I think it’s a very useful book for all.

This is a good book for anyone who is wanting to be more organized, whether they are ADHD or not.

The suggestions and examples were clearly written, with photos showing the types of bins the author describes, storage solutions, accessories, etc.

As I was reading the book, I was making a mental list of all the rooms and spaces that I want to apply these techniques to. I know that my house needs a really good purge (do I really need my high school year books from 20 years ago, especially when I have no real fond memories of high school?). I will be following her advice to block off chunks of time to tackle a room or space, divide things into a few piles, and then let go of things that I don't need, don't use, are broken, obsolete, or could easily be replaced if I do have need of them in the future.

Thanks to NetGalley and the author for an advance copy of the book. All opinions are my own.
