Zoey Is Too Drunk For This Dystopia is the third installment in the Zoey Ashe series by Jason Pargin. Full disclaimer, Pargin is one of my favorite authors so I will automatically love anything he writes, and Drunk Zoey is no exception.
The beginning of this book did feel a little repetitive from the second; The major plot point was very similar - missing/murdered character, fault placed on Zoey & her team, lots of internet trolls - but after the first quarter or so, this book really picked up and by the end, I enjoyed it more than the second in the series.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This needs to be a TV series already. Zoey has more misadventures and fails at interacting with her new life. I love it. Can't wait for the next book.

The beginning moves a bit fast but, it slows and solidifies into a solid story about 15% the way through. I liked referring to the missing women as sex workers, as opposed to calling them prostitutes all the time. I thought the pacing and the humor was awesome. It made me want to read the others in the series.

Another fun romp full of unexpected twist and turns(and more than one explosion!) through Tabula Ra$a with Zoey and the suits! Jason Pargin yet again draws the reader in wondering what is going to happen next and just when you think you have it figured out-tips the boat and throws you in the water! Filled with moments that had me laughing out loud and for the first time ever-brought to tears-this is my favorite Zoey book thus far and hopefully not the last!

The adventures of Zoey and the Suits in TabluaRa$a continues in this fun comedic dystopian satire from Jason Pargin. If you enjoyed the other books in this series, you won’t be disappointed.

As usual, Jason Pargrin has absolutely knocked it out of the park. Just when I think his stories can't get any crazier or anymore hilarious, his writing shows up and gives you double middle fingers for daring to doubt him. Despite her outrageous circumstances, Zoey is such a relatable character in the most depressing ways, and I love her. Now excuse me while I restart the series because I'm mad that the book ended and I'm not ready to leave Zoey's world.

Pretty fun, similar tone to the first two but not identical. While some horrific crimes occur, it still seemed somewhat lighter than the previous two if that makes sense? Also a big plot point from the previous book is not really followed up on here. I do think that if you enjoyed the first two, you will enjoy this one as well. I really want to see them make this for TV.

If you liked the first two books in this series, I'm sure you will enjoy this one as well as it is very similar and has the same tone. I enjoyed this third book quite a bit more than the second book in the series. My main complaint would be that I felt the author tried to fit too many insightful nuggets of wisdom into the dialogue, which felt a bit preachy and slowed down the story. I didn't get sucked into the book until the third act when I couldn't wait to find out what scheme Zoey's team had devised to solve their problems.
