Yes - read it!

This is the 3rd in a series. A good series but Mary Connealy usually is. So don't view as you HAVE to read in order but that you GET to read a couple additional good books in the process.

I like that this one wrapped up some loose ends. I have liked where the stories have taken the reader in all the books and this one was no exception.

I received an ARC from Netgalley to help me prepare my honest review

I love continuing the stories of characters from the mind of novelist Mary Connealy. While, Marshaling Her Heart wasn’t my favorite book overall in the Wyoming Sunrise trilogy, it was a great end to reading the series and needed to continue the characters and overall plot to discover what was to happen next. This book was my escape when the family was going into flu season, and once humidifiers were in place, cough herbal remedies were dosed, and breathing of little ones finally appropriately eased, I put my brand newly pregnant self into escaping to the western frontier to find out what would happen next. Reading books like this makes me laugh, grin, and giggle. I cannot wait to share the story with my teenage daughter as she is a few books behind me in this series. I cannot wait to start the next novel that Mary publishes and I hope they keep on coming. I have read just about every historical from Mary Connealy, and always want to come back for more.

It is thanks to Netgalley and Bethany House Publishers that I was blessed with a review copy to read and share my thoughts. I’m off to dive back into chapter two now, of Chasing the Horizon.

For two years now, I have waited for the third book in the series. I have been so disappointed to see another series go by! Mary Connealy has produce another amazing book and another amazing series.

I have been waiting for Becky and Nate’s book. First off I love the name Nate so that is a plus into how excited I was for this book. I also liked Becky’s character in the first two books. The Tom boy who always helped and was there for her friends when they were in need. Let’s get back to Nate. The perfect foreman who was there for Becky. Honestly, Mary Connealy did the perfect amount of build up with these characters in the two previous books that it made it hard waiting for this book.

Also. The Dead Eye Gang! I have been waiting to find out more about this group. And the leader! I had my suspicions.

There are reoccurring characters who helped bring this story to life. There is humor, suspense, and just enough chemistry to leave you wanting to keep reading!

I so love Mary Connealy’s book, and this one did not disappoint!

I requested and received a netgalley link of this book. I was not required to give a favorable review.

Good Western Christian Romance. Becky has had a rough history with her father and now it seems like he may be involved in criminal activity. But have no fear Nate, who works for Becky, is a formal lawman who is back in action with a few others. They are there to protect Becky and also catch the criminals. This was a good and enjoyable story! It had the perfect amount of romance, adventure and danger. I really loved the Christian faith elements and scripture throughout. I did not read the previous 2 books in the series and thought it worked well as a stand alone however there are reoccurring characters in this story so it would be beneficial to start with book one to get their backstories. Overall, a great read and I definitely recommend!

This third book in the Wyoming Sunrise series wraps up the overarching plot of the outlaws targeting local citizens with Becky and Nate working together with the marshals to draw them in. Nate's hidden identity as a marshal takes Becky off-guard, but it adds to her admiration of him, even when they disagree. I loved that the main characters from the previous books play important roles, and Becky's friendship with Nell and Mariah is steadfast. Women's suffrage is a theme throughout the series, with Wyoming being the first state to allow women the vote and to hold offices. They are pretty proud of it, and I liked the historical details. Brand's daughter Samantha and her new role provides some comic relief, and I hope to see her with a story of her own in a future novella! I was happy to see the community band together to defeat the criminals and stand up for peace and freedom.

This is book three in the Wyoming Sunrise series, however it is a stand alone book. You will miss a bit of history but not enough to be lost. I love the entire series, so I would recommend reading the entire series.
We get to know Becky and Nate in this book, we have met them in previous books but this one we focus on them. We continue to encounter other characters from past books, which I love when a series keeps us up to date with all the previous characters. Becky and Nate find themselves in some need of help, all while trying to keep a huge secret. I love their relationship, this book is full of love, friendship and more. I would recommend it. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

What a truly great book! I have deeply enjoyed these last two books in this series that I've had the privilege to read thru NetGalley. Each book can easily stand alone, so it did not impact my enjoyment to have not read the first in the series. This is something I greatly value!

This book was about a rancher named Becky. She is one of three strong women who ventured and succeeded in Wyoming on their own before marrying. In "Marshaling Her Heart", Becky dealt with the utter hatred of her own father toward her. She has a foreman who was very interested in her, but did not feel he could bring anything to the marriage that could compare to her wealth. I loved how the author brought Becky and Nate together without drawing it out, making it all whiny, or emphasizing too greatly on the differences of wealth. Once touched on, it was resolved in a wonderful way. Nate brought a great deal to the marriage in other ways, and he was clearly not a gold digger. In that day and age, once married the husband becomes owner of everything the woman owns. This could have easily been something an author could have drawn out and used for extra drama. I appreciated and respected Ms. Connealy for not going this route as so many other authors do. They were married by mid-book instead of working thru a ton of drama to end with the wedding at the end of the book. This was simply a part of the story, and not the high point. I LOVED THIS!!! I loved how the three friends are always followed in all three books (Becky, Mariah, and Nell). I love how we see how each family grows and matures from one book to the next, and they are very much in each book as a major character.

I will absolutely continue following this author. I recommend this author to anyone who will listen. These are good, clean, wonderful reads! They are full of action and excitement without drawing out the events. Enjoy!

Thank you, NetGalley and Bethany House, for allowing me this great privilege of reading such wonderful stories in exchange for an honest review. I will also be sharing this on my blog at https://thefinalwordbooks.blogspot.com.

I recommend this whole series! I have anticipated Becky's story since the first book, and it does not disappoint. Despite her challenging youth, Becky's inner strength prevails, yet her past has led her to construct walls around her heart making it hard to let love in.

Then there is Nate, Becky’s foreman, harboring an unexpected past and a strong desire to shield Becky. I love how he not only adopts a protective instinct but also stumbles over his own words when he is around Becky. The chemistry between them is captivating.

From the start, I've been engrossed in the mystery surrounding the Dead Eye Gang This book amps up the action and suspense, steering us toward the epic finale of this unforgiving gang. The humor sprinkled throughout lightens the tone, even amidst some weighty themes.

I love the friendships between Mariah, Becky and Nell and enjoyed seeing glimpses into their new found lives. Everyone is getting happily ever afters.

If you enjoy reading historical fiction based on the west, sweet swoon worthy romance and a dash of suspense then check out this series!

Thank you @bethanyhousefiction for the gifted copy of this book to read and review. All thoughts are my own.

This is the most exciting book in this series. It is full of twists and turns you won’t see coming. We also finally get to see the extremely independent Becky admit she might just need someone of her own and fall in love. We also learn who is behind the Deadeye Gang. This was a great ending to the series even if I wasn’t ready for it to end.

I was provided a copy of the book from the author/publisher. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.

This book had such an intriguing premise - a band of outlaws on the loose, US Marshalls going undercover, and a lady running the ranch the Marshalls use as their hideout?! Count me in.

Unfortunately, I quickly realized this was not the book for me. The writing didn't flow well to me. At times it seemed redundant and slow, while other times the story was progressing so quickly I feared I had missed crucial information somewhere, only to go back, reread the passage, and find that the information I was hoping to find that would connect the dots of the story wasn't there at all.

Perhaps one day I will revisit this book and give it another chance, but for now, I am going to put it down and move on.

I have really enjoyed reading the series! I love the characters and honestly I’m a little sad not to continue with the stories of the supporting characters. I rated this one a little lower because I had been hoping for more of a twist with the Deadeye Gang. However it was still a solid story.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book! Connealy has an amazing talent of making her characters so unique and lovable, and I can’t get enough! I loved reading the first 2 books in this series, and I was dying to hear Becky’s story. Becky hasn’t had it easy. Looking at her now you would never guess what she had to go through in order to have her own life as a successful rancher. Her dad is known for his huge spread, but he is also known as a hard man. No one knows that better than Becky. Little does her conniving father know,Becky has a group of great people surrounding her that will stop at nothing to make sure she is protected. With the Dead Eye gang on the loose danger lurks around every corner. Nate and Becky have been through a lot together, and sure they might feel a spark or two. But that doesn’t mean either of them are ready to give up their independence. Out in the west where nothing is promised, can true love find a way?

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Historical Romance. Connealy is one of my favorites, and that doesn’t come easily. She mixes just the right amount of suspense and romance and I loved every minute of it. This is the third book in the series, but you don’t need to read the other two novels in order to enjoy this one. That being said, you’ll miss out on getting to see Becky and her group of unique and interesting friends and the bonds they have. I can’t wait to see what Connealy comes up with next! I received a complimentary copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers and was in no way forced to post a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Marshalling Her Heart is the third book in the Wyoming Sunshine series. It concludes the story of three women forging a path of independence and strength in the Wyoming wilderness. Book 3 follows Becky Pruitt, a rancher, who is determined to help protect her town and her ranch, refusing to bend to her father’s demands.

Throughout the series, the threats of the Deadeye Gang have loomed and in this final book, Becky and her friends discover the truth of who is behind it all. Marshalling Her Heart, of course, is also a romance, so along with the action and drama from trying to track down and stop the gang, Becky and her ranch foreman have plenty of time to fall in love. Becky learns that Nate has ties to the U.S. Marshalls and she finds herself and her ranch the host for a group of Marshalls as they try to prevent any more killings.

Marching Her Heart is a fitting conclusion to this series. Plenty of romance, action and friendship between the three women who have featured in these stories and the families who have become so familiar to us readers.

The publishers provided an advanced readers copy of this book for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.

After many years of hard work, Becky has always tried her best to run an efficient ranch. When her foreman Nate comes to her to suggest that her ranch be used by Marshals to locate the rest of the Deadeye Gang, she is worried about what this will do to her independence. She considers the proposition with one requirement, that she gets to stay on the ranch to make sure nothing happens to her ranch. The situation gets intense as Becky and Nate search for the person behind the Deadeye Gang.

The storyline was fast paced. It felt a little different than other books in the series with more action in it. It has been building since the first book so it was time to discover who was behind the Deadeye Gang.I was looking forward to this last book in the series. The series itself has been enjoyable as each book builds upon each other. Clues about Becky and Nate in other books were very intriguing and I was ready to read their story. The story ended on such a sweet note for these three strong friends.

I would recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own and I was not required to leave a positive review.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It's fun to see strong women taking on non-traditional roles to survive and thrive. Becky is no different. An inheritance allowed her to escape from her father's clutches and start her own ranch. When he comes around with a request for her, she knows something is up. But what?

I liked getting to know Nate. He's a great person to have around in a fight. I also enjoyed seeing Nell and Mariah playing such prominent roles in this book. The friendship of the three women is beautiful.

In this book, the Dead Eye Gang is an escalating problem that brings a lot of danger and mystery. When someone comes up with an unusual solution, Becky will have a decision to make.

I found this book and series to be thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks to Bethany House for providing me with a free e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Marshaling Her Heart is an amazing novel that is also the third book in a series. You’re going to need to read this series in order! Each book builds off the other book. And you meet the characters that take center stage in this one in book one. Add in that the whole gang and their dastardly deeds are a part of the entire series as well. Basically, you’re going to be lost if you don’t read all of this series in order. I mean, you could probably read it as a stand-alone if you really had to, but you’d miss out on so much! I can’t recommend that to you because I know it’s not a good idea.

Like I said before we meet Becky in book one of this series. While book one focuses on a female blacksmith, Becky is one of her best friends. You get insights into her character and what makes her tick as she makes appearances throughout books one and two. So, having read those, you know she’s strong and independent. Maybe a bit too independent. She doesn’t want to let anyone close and definitely won’t give them control over her.

HER TOP RANCH HAND, HER FOREMAN, IS NATE.
Nate is a former US Marshal but he hasn’t shared that freely. But he also does his best to help Becky and gently steer her to what’s good and right for her ranch while also being a sounding board and support for her. You’ll have seen some sparks fly between them in previous books. But Becky isn’t ready to give up control of her life.

When Becky gives up partial control of her ranch to marshals things start to get even more complicated. Can she manage to save the ranch and help catch the gang without losing her sanity?

MARSHALING HER HEART is a book about found family, new beginnings, women's suffrage, faith and unexpected love. It's a western set in a small Wyoming town with very likable characters, plenty of humor, romantic sparks and some danger mixed in. The previous two books are enjoyable and this third tops as the favorite and a fantastic ending to this series!

I have really enjoyed this series, but this third book was my favorite of the three. For some reason, these characters with the banter and attraction while working together on a ranch just worked for me. I also really loved Becky and Nate and how they're both strong and independent, but also hard-working and honest with good hearts. I was entertained while cheering them on, hoping that they'd keep safe, but also find their happily-ever-after. I also enjoyed that there were a few twists, turns and surprises. How things ended wasn't a surprise, but other things were as they didn't follow the usual mold for a romance, and I really liked that there were some surprises in how things played out. I also loved seeing the characters from the first two books and how they were getting on. There was such a feel of home and family in this story, even though the three main families weren't family at all, but very close friends. The elements of faith were light and woven through naturally. The romance had some sparks while also being very sweet. I pretty much loved this one!

In the end, was it what I wished for? This is a thoroughly enjoyable read from beginning to end. Readers will fall in love with these characters with the fun dialogue and entertaining situation they find themselves in. The danger adds a bit of tension that leads to a climatic finish. Definitely one to pick up! I'm looking forward to this author's next series.

This was a great ending to the Wyoming Sunrise Series. Becky Pruitt has her own ranch away from her mean spirited father. The Deadeye Gang is still on the loose and killing and stealing. Nate Paxton, her foreman, is a former US Marshal. His brother is a US Marshal and is bringing other marshals with him to round up the Deadeye Gang. They want to use Becky's ranch as there headquarters. But they don't want anyone to know they're US Marshals.

This book has lots of actions. Plus Becky and Nate finally get their story. Ms. Connealy has done another great job with this book.

I found this book to be a wonderful end to the series. Filled with danger and suspense and finally the unveiling on who was the mastermind of the Dead-Eye Gang. I was so happy to read Becky's happy ending. While appearing to have it all as a successful rancher, she has the most to overcome. She is a spunky heroine, filled with grit and determination. Yet when the story was at its darkest moments, her faith was a shining beacon of peace and strength.

I loved the way the author tied up the various characters' storylines in the epilogue. Her focus on young women in roles that were traditionally held by men was a great subplot to the series. Don't get me wrong, the series has a plethora of swoony heroes. Ms. Connealy has a unique voice that just makes her stories, even at their most suspenseful, a joy to read.

I have enjoyed this entire Wyoming Sunrise historical series with its strong female leads and engaging adventures. I do recommend reading the series in order for the maximum reading experience since the tale continues from the first to the final exciting novel. This book features Becky Pruitt, who runs her own ranch, to the dismay of her demanding father—whose control she was glad to escape. The story includes difficult choices and dangerous scenes, with a budding love story thrown in. The compelling plot is threaded with exploration of relationships—between newlyweds, friends, and family—along with their struggles and sweet times. This book ties up the series well just like a cowboy expertly secures his roped cattle. Even if you don’t usually read Westerns, this fun tale will capture your imagination and take you along for a wild ride. This author certainly knows how to deliver powerful fiction. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own. #MarshalingHerHeart #NetGalley
