Really enjoyed this book. Fast paced. Easy storyline to follow. Short chapters. You never know what is going on in someone else’s life. An ordinary couple, one of which is controlling and manipulative…..but in public is the perfect person. Another couple, well off and gorgeous and have everything going for them…..but behind closed doors, life is quite different. The storyline of both couples intertwine, leaving the reader to wonder…..what will happen next and how will it all end?

Another great book from this author which I thoroughly enjoyed which kept me involved in the storyline from the beginning until the great ending, he never lets me down with his writing.

All the characters were good but I did want to give Kate a good slap as I don't think anyone would do what she was doing but apart from that everything was good.

Thank you to Netgalley and Inkubator Books for this ARC which I have no hesitation in recommending.

I didn't think I would ge able to finish this book because the main character, Kate, was so annoying. She started to stalk a guy because she saw him when he was with his fiancé at a bridal shop. I won't give anything away but WOW! Kate came across as very immature and not at all like a woman who is not a teenager. She just kept getting on my nerves the more I read. Yet the story sucked me in and I had to keep reading. I just wish the ending wasn't such a disappointment. It just made no sense to me. I did give it a 4 star review since I couldn't put the book down.

This book has taken over my entire day and I have no targets! I'm a massive fan of the author so I had high hopes and he didn't disappoint. Again, another unique and original plot. It has some major twists and turns and it may stretch the relms of reality but that my friends, is why it's a fiction! I absolutely lost myself in it, it wasn't at all what I was expecting and it might even be one of my top 5 from the author. I'd definitely recommend

Kate is getting married. It’s an exciting time, but she has some doubts - her partner Mark sometimes mistreats her, and she is beginning to wonder if he is really “the one”. . Kate is preparing for her wedding to Mark, but she's starting to wonder if he's really the ideal mate. Besides being disinterested in all of the wedding planning, he is sometimes cruel and abusive towards her. She chalks his behavior up to pre-wedding jitters and forges ahead. But her world explodes while she's still looking for a wedding gown and sees the perfect couple in the shop, the bride-to-be preparing for a fitting. They are everything she and Mark aren't, and Kate deludes herself into thinking that this man, this stranger, is her ideal partner.

I have read about six books so far by Daniel Hurst, and "The Bride to Be" is definitely one of my favorites! It is a super fast read--I finished it in a few hours yesterday afternoon, and it helped stave off the "Sunday Scaries"!

Kate is growing increasingly hesitant about her impending wedding day due to the emotional manipulation she experiences from her partner Mark. When she sees a seemingly perfect couple in the bridal gown shop, she almost instantly decides she wants their life. She becomes obsessed with the man, Tristan, and will stop at seemingly nothing to get closer to him. Of course, things do not proceed as Kate plans, and soon everything starts to spiral out of her control.

I really enjoyed this! It kept me engaged the whole time, with a lot of little twists I didn't expect. Definitely 5/5 for plot! The characters weren't very likable, but I always expect that from thrillers. Some of the writing was a bit awkward and repetitive, but I honestly found it better than some of Hurst's other books.

I would definitely recommend "The Bride to Be" if you have read and enjoyed Hurst's other works! 4.5 stars rounded up.

Thanks to NetGalley, Inkubator Books, and Daniel Hurst for this eARC!

A "bride to be" becomes obsessed with another couple when she sees them at the wedding dress shop. Kate starts sending messages, stalking etc because she wants that "perfect man" she has been observing. Tess and Tristan turn out not to be such a perfect couple afterall. Kate sets her sights on Tristan anyway and encounters pushback from Tess as well as her own fiance, Mark. What will happen to these two couples when everything is out in the open? Not a bad book. I feel like Daniel's books are all the same. I tend to skip some in the middle as it's not all necessary to get the gist of the story.

Daniel Hurst is one of my favourite authors at the moment, which meant I was super excited to read this new book.
It certainly didn’t disappoint and I raced through it in almost one sitting.
It’s a really easy read and I was engrossed from the start.
This book is a great domestic thriller that I would definitely recommend.

A genuinely fast paced domestic thriller about a bride to be that starts to see the cracks in her life after a chance encounter at a bridal shop. The pace never falters on the way toma stunning conclusion.

I was immediately hooked in with Hurst’s latest about a bride having second thoughts about her fiancée and upcoming wedding. I flew through this in a couple of hours and was entertained along the way. The last quarter of the story was a bit of a miss for me. It became a little far fetched and wrapped up in a very odd way. Still enjoyable though.

Thank you to Inkubator books & NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

I’m a fan of Daniel Hurst books, because they always keep me on the edge of my seat, expecting the unexpected.

The Bride to be is Kate, and the book starts off with her dress shopping for her upcoming wedding. While there, a beautiful and happy couple catches her eye, and she begins a dangerous game of following them and learning all she can about them.

As Kate begins to follow Tristran & Tess, she uncovers secrets about their relationship. While we also learn about how unhappy and unsure Kate is to be marrying her fiancé Mark. As the wedding date creeps closer, will Kate actually marry Mark? Will Tristan & Tess figure out Kate has been following and watching them?

Read like a true fast paced thriller, this book didn’t disappoint!

**Trigger warning: abuse (physical, psychological, verbal).

A fast read, a somewhat melodramatic predictable story about a woman in an abusive relationship, envying this other very attractive couple at the bridal shop and getting obsessed with him. Now, not the behavior of someoe healthy emotionally and it takes off from there. light entertainment
