This was a great book. It really puts to shame a lot of the false theories about what it takes to acquire true wealth. Read it and reap.
Solid and informative read by Brown. A little dry at times. Personally, I think I’d have done better with this one in physical format or audio but that’s just personal preference. Plenty of takeaways from this though.
A lot of principles early in this book derive from the Dave Ramsey method, so if you are familiar with that, you can easily skip through that section. It goes further into two ways for saving up so you can retire in style, without worrying about money. There are a lot of tables and charts here, and if you're math-oriented, you're going to love this section. If you get confused or overwhelmed by large amounts of data just thrown out there like that, with minimal explanation, this section may not do much for you. Overall, the Takeaways section at the end of each chapter are helpful. Your thinking style will determine how helpful the rest is...
