Another brilliant book by Sue who is an absolute master at story telling.
I haven't read a book by Sue that I haven't enjoyed.
This kept me absolutely hooked and is definitley a 5 star read.
Another great read from the author. It moves along at a good pace and is gripping. Some very good twists towards the end that I really didn't expect.

Great story by the fabulous Sue Watson - one of my favorite authors!! Read it!
I initially wanted to read this book as the setting was in Greece, and there isn't anywhere else in the world I want to read about.
Then I thought a scammy wedding, some shady business going on, beautiful but mean girls. This sounds like something I could really get into. Except I couldn't. I felt like there were just too many things going on, too many popular tropes, I felt like something got lost in there.
It was a quick and easy read though. Short chapters and very easy to follow. The writing is descriptive and sucks you in. Just the MC wasn't a winner for me.

Alice has a troubled and emotional past. Raised by her sister Heather after the deaths of their parents, followed by an unhappy relationship with Dan that crumbled after their failure to have a baby. Now she faces prison after an incident she cannot recall due to PTSD blackouts, so she heads to Corfu.
Alice makes a firm friend of Sylvie who offers her a job and there is the potential of a romance with Nik. But his cousin and an antagonistic relationship with colleague Angelica mean that she isn't confident in her new life. Plus there are posters up around town of missing women, and one looks just like her...
I didn't like the ending.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me an advance copy.
From page one - secrets within secrets within secrets - nothing is as it seems - and no one is as they seem, or who they profess to be. Slow to unwind, but worth the wait - great for domestic mystery fans who want a bit more
Five stars! Another great, twisty story by Sue Watson. I love how Alice is relatable and easy to root for, even while she's making poor decisions. The reader real feels her pain. The twists abound, the settings are integral and the writing terrific. Sue Watson does it again!
I throughly enjoyed this! Fast paced, lots of twists and turns, when you think you know what's happening you doubt yourself, only to he even more shocked with the end revelation! Highly reccomend.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of The Wedding Day by Sue Watson in exchange for my honest review and opinion. Anything Sue Watson writes I want to read right away as she's that good. This book was fantastic and had so many good twists and turns throughout that will keep you engrossed until the very end. The ending was fantastic! I can't wait to read more and more by her.
A good fast thriller with lots of twists and turns. There were lost of red herrings which kept me guessing right to the end. With so many layers it was great to unravel them all and for the story to come together
I do enjoy a Sue Watson novel & this one didn't disappoint, I couldn't put it down & read it in a day!!!
I really do enjoy a book by Sue Watson and this was no different. I got really into the book especially the ending and it worked really well. Loved all the twists The start was a bit slow but it got really going.
I was given a free copy by netgalley and bookouture but the review is entirely my own.
It’s pretty much a given if Sue Watson writes it, I am going to read it! I found The Wedding Day to be a shocking, twist filled and gripping book. Just when I thought I knew what was happening, Watson threw in another twist which proved just how wrong I was! I love it when this happens.
This one is filled with unlikeable characters , I struggled to connect with them. I wish there was more twists and the title was a bit misleading.

Alice has a public physical altercation with her ex-husband after finding out his new girlfriend is pregnant following a lot of fertility issues during her own marriage. She takes off to Corfu, Greece to avoid police scrutiny and quickly makes friends with Sylvie, a wedding planner, and gets romantically involved with Nik, a vineyard owner. But there are girls that have gone missing there over the years and Alice think Dimitris, a creepy cousin of Nik's, that lives on the property, is behind the disappearances.
3.5 stars.
I actually thought this one was pretty boring for awhile. The book only worked because Alice was so easily duped. I kept marveling at all of the dumb decisions she made and how oblivious to all of the red flags she was. But, even though I guessed the end to some extent, and thought it was largely far-fetched, that part was still entertaining. I like this author and will read her next book.
A vacation and twisty romance gone wrong!
This book was so good. I couldn’t and didn’t want to put it down!
Alice uses alcohol to dull the pain of splitting from her husband. After an unfortunate, incident in a wine store she flees to Corgu. Where she meets the owner of a vineyard named Nick. He’s not who he seems. Such a good read!
Alice finds herself living with her sister after a traumatic divorce from Dan mainly due to having fertility problems. Her life is turned upside down when she bumps into Dan and his new girlfriend and is horrified to see that she is pregnant. After an altercation that Alice can’t remember that leaves San in a coma, she finds herself being accused of assault. After being bailed Alice decides to flee to Corfu as she has always wanted to investigate the disappearance of some missing British women there. She meets up with Sylvia, who soon becomes her new best friend, and Nik, who is handsome, wealthy and owns a vineyard. Alice is swept off her feet by him but realises that something is wrong and Nik cannot be trusted when the police arrive on their wedding day. Events escalate back in the UK and she confides in Nik who seems to have a solution. It soon becomes clear to Alice that no one can be trusted and her own life could be in danger. The book was a little far fetched but still an enjoyable read.
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
Thank you Netgalley for my ARC of this book.
Love Sue Watson books, always gripped from the start and staying up late to finish and this one didn't disappoint.
Highly recommended
Alice has come to stay in Greece after a difficult divorce and a chance meeting with her ex and his pregnant wife. We are not sure exactly what went on and how much of a mystery there is. Asides in the book suggest that we are in for a few twists and turns in the book. She meets a new friend and helps out at wedding events. It is a lovely mix of suspense, friendships, romance and the psychologial thriller making you wonder what twists will lie ahead. The setting is absolutely wonderful and the job sounds a dream, but you are aware that things aren't what they seem.
