I always love Erin McCarthy books, and this one didn't disappoint! It's a solid read, but the ending felt a bit rushed and left me feeling like something was missing.
Wow! I really enjoyed this book! But the ending seemed rushed, everything was happening too fast.
Can't wait to read Jessica and Riley's book, i could tell something would happen from the first time that they met.
Unfortunately this book was not for me. I had initially marked it as 'will not be giving feedback on this title' instead of writing a review, but since not writing a review affects my overall feedback ratio - which does not seem fair since I read the book and simply didn't enjoy it and don't see the point of writing a review - I am changing it to a 'review' for the sake of not having unfinished books sitting on my shelves and dragging my ratio down. Since I'm simply doing this for Netgalley, I won't be rating or reviewing this book on Goodreads or elsewhere.
I have always enjoyed Erin McCarthy books, and this one didn't dissapoint! It's a quick romance read with a little bit of spice. Perfect for avid romance readers.
This was mostly okay for me. Forgettable, in my opinion, seeing as I can't remember much about it a little more than a month after finishing it. It was a quick read and I am glad I gave McCarthy another shot, but I don't think this author is for me.
A review was published on Goodreads and amazon, however for the purposes of feedback and title support in netgalley I enjoyed this book.
True was an emotional new adult romance that I enjoyed for the most part. Rory was a refreshing character for this sub-genre, I liked her heartfelt and rational demeanor. Tyler was a character that I could easily get behind as well, and I loved his commitment to his brothers. What I didn't like about the story was how Rory was a bit of a push-over when it came to her friends. It created some awkward situations in the beginning that weren't understandable. The story also became a bit predictable in the end, and the ending itself was unceremonious. All in all, good but I was hoping for more. I do look forward to more from this series though!
When True was published during the height of the New Adult publishing wave, I was excited to read it and see how it depicted college life and relationships. Unfortunately, it fell short in many regards and relied on overused romance tropes while presenting a truly unrealistic depiction of college life, especially for a heroine who's supposed to be studious and into her classes. Read in 2013.
True was one of my favorite New Adult novels of 2013! It was heartbreaking and empowering all at the same time. I'm pretty sure I dreamed about the book after I finished reading it, that's how much of an impression it left on me!

This book was amazing. I have devoured the entire series. The characters and the romance were wonderful.
I wanted a little more out of the ending, but it just felt a little rushed. Overall I did enjoy it.
I was unable to read and review this book before it was archived.
This turned out not to be my sort of book, I didn't finish or review it.
Have to say I had this one set a side for a while. I enjoyed it though. It was sad and good. It just makes you wonder how many other people have done things like this. Talking to someone because they feel bad for them or because a friend asks them to as a favor or even as a bet. Then things turn into something more. It was a good story.
