Fleur is an shy and timid character who has a rich and stuck up boyfriend who takes her to Snowdonia to do some walks up the biggest mountains they can climb. Into her life walks Matt, a very well built hunk who just happens to be their guide!. They get on straight away but as she has a jealous boyfriend who expects her to do what he wants at all times, she keeps talking to a minimum!. After her boyfriend, decides she was having some sort of flirtatious thing with Matt and wasn't doing what he wanted her to, he decides to dump her. He leaves her stranded with no job, (as she works for him), and no home. Matt's mother offers her a job in the restaurant and there's accomodation too!. Result!!. The story then carries on, you find out about how sad her life has been, her best friend from that time, and how Matt's family really make her feel wanted and loved!. She's so happy!!. What could happen to her now?!!.
I really loved this book from start to finish!. It gave me such a warm feeling inside and I was actually sad when I finished it!. As usual, Maxine Morrey gets it all right and I'm sure this book will be a great success like all her others have been!.

Fleur French was abandoned as a child so she suffers from low self esteem. She has a fear of being abandoned so to the men that she dates she tends to mold to what they want her to be. She picks the wrong men and stays in relationships way longer than she should. Jasper was verbally abusive to her yet she stayed for two years. That was the hardest part to read is the awful things he said to her trying to break her and destroy her. He manages to break up with her and leave her her homeless and without a job in one full swoop.

Fleur is left devastated and alone. She is lucky that she met Matt. He manages to encourage her to be honest with her feelings and say what she really means. This is something new to Fleur as she is use to people pleasing and making sure everyone is happy even if she is miserable.

It is so encouraging to see Fleur grow and find her voice and learn to be happy and confident. She discovers a found family and then her real family and how to be in a healthy relationship.

You’ve Got This is a wonderfully poignant book. It is a book of self-discover, of family, and love. Fleur is a fascinating character. Having been abandoned as a child, her fear of being left behind again has led her to a life where she doesn’t stand up for herself, she goes along with what everyone else wants, and she is constant apologizing. All of that changes when she meets Matt, a hiking guide in Wales, who pushes her to be honest and brave. It was quite a journey to watch her gain her voice, and her confidence, and all at a time when she’s actually very lost. I cried real tears for Fleur, but I was mostly cheering her on every step of the way!

A gentle meandering story. Fleur, a barista, is abandoned by her horrible (worst type of human) boyfriend in a hotel in the mountains of Wales. Luckily, the hotel owners are amazing and witness the boyfriend leaving her high and dry. They offer her a job as a waitress complete with accommodation. They also have an incredibly hot mountaineer son, Matt. Ex-army and rugged mountain guide.

The story didn't completely grip me, it was gentle and sweet. Matt was a great character, you kinda wonder why Fleur was with the terrible boyfriend (but really, I guess we have all been there).

The story deals a lot with Fleur's background as an orphan and her finding her family (rather unexpectedly) on the mountain as well as her slow-burn relationship with Matt.

Lovely read, if not rather forgettable.

This was a lovely and heartwarming story. I enjoyed Fleur’s journey to her found family in Wales, and then was delighted by the later connection with her real family - her whole back story ended up so intriguing and as gripping as the romance element of the novel!

This is such a lovely read and has a bit of everything. Fleur French had a rough start in life and tries hard to mould herself into who she thinks people want her to be - especially boyfriends! After being abandoned by her boyfriend Jasper on a trip to Wales she finds herself homeless and jobless. She is taken under the wings of the lovely Morgan family who own the hotel she is staying at. Their son Matt is ex military and helps Fleur to find herself. They get on so well but is there also a romantic attraction and if so will they act on it? I found this warm and enjoyed how they characters and their relationships developed. I loved all the characters - except for Jasper! I couldn’t put it down as I so wanted to find out what was going to happen. Thank you to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review

I always look forward to Maxine Morrey's new books appearing, and I always enjoy them.

You've Got This is set in Wales and is Fleur's story. Fleur has a difficult background which has resulted in poor choices as an adult. One of them leaves her homeless and unemployed with no warning. Hesitantly, she accepts a live-in job in rural Wales. The same mistake again? Or a brand new start?

I think this is a slighter book than many of Maxine's, but I enjoyed it no less. It took me a while to warm to Fleur but I enjoyed watching her develop as a character and a person. The supporting cast was made up of distinct individuals who all added something to the book. The descriptions of the setting were evocative, more than I've noticed before.
