This is such a cool cookbook! I was excited to be able to view this cookbook because it promised many unique and delicious recipes, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Some of my favorite recipes from this cookbook are for the fried chicken sandwich and the fruity pebbles funnel cakes, which sound so delicious and which I cannot wait to try and make myself! I also am a big Dolly Parton fan so I was excited to read this cookbook and see the new recipes included in it. Overall, I think this is a great cookbook and I believe a lot of us will have fun recreating the recipes from it!

I have never been to Dollywood and before reading this cookbook didn't really know a whole lot about Dolly Parton either. I'm familiar with a few of her songs and knew what she looks like, but that's about it. After reading this cookbook, I feel like I know quite a bit more about Dolly Parton herself, and she seems like a pretty fantastic human being. I also feel like I know a fair bit about Dollywood now too (it seems to be a theme park along the lines of Silver Dollar City in Branson). And I have all of this information because it was included as information explaining the various different recipes and their inspiration.

I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to try any of the recipes from this book while I had access to the eARC, so I can't tell you if they are actually good, and I wouldn't know if they were at all accurate anyway. But boy, when I tell you this book made me so hungry. I was basically salivating over the recipes, and not only do I intend to buy myself a copy of this book so that I can actually try them out at home, but I also really wanna go to Dollywood now just to eat all the food. And while I'm no slouch in the kitchen, I'm also not a gourmet chef, but these recipes seemed fairly simple, with easy to follow instructions.

Overall I give The Unofficial Dollywood Cookbook 4.8756 out of 5 stars.

I've already made several recipes and they were a hit! I was truly thankful to have gotten to read this before most people! I would like to purchase this one for my physical library!

As someone who the last time she was at Dollywood was when she was 13 I don't remember much about the park or the food. But having a chance to recreate some of the recipes with an easy to follow cookbook was neat.

I've never been to Dollywood, but I adore Dolly Parton and her wholesome personality, so I thought that I should take a peek at this theme park cookbook!

There are lots of nice snack food ideas in this book. It was nice to see some typical southern comfort food in this book, like chicken & dumplings, deviled eggs, and skillet cornbread. There are also recipes for fair foods, like glazed nuts and popcorn chicken, that look easy enough to replicate at home. My only real complaint is that there were not enough pictures of the food! I really need photos to help me decide what to make! A cookbook with plenty of photos will always score higher in my book. But it's definitely worth taking a look at if you like southern food, and of course, like Dolly!

My family has been going to Dollywood since I was a child and I was so excited to see that this cook book existed!

Of course I wanted to know how to make the Cinnamon Bread but I was happy to see recipes for their BBQ, Peanut Butter Fudge, Fried Chicken, and Peach Cobbler.

The recipes I have made have been fantastic and I can’t wait to make more!

We love Dollywood so much! So when I saw this cookbook I knew I had to try some of these recipes! I cannot wait to go back to the parks but until then I’ll be working my way through this book!

This is more than a cookbook. It starts out with a history of how Dollywood came to be. Then the different sections of the park are broken down for you. Next come some helpful tips so you can enjoy the recipes that are included. Then what y’all are waiting for, the recipes. Some of the best Dollywood has to offer. I enjoyed this cookbook and learning more about Dollywood. I got it because my family loves the food we get at Dollywood and I thought we could have fun making it at home. I was pleasantly surprised with the added information. If you love Dollywood, I would recommend you checking this cookbook out. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

The one time that I visited Dollywood, I bought Dolly’s cookbook for my husband, who is a total southern comfort food guy. That book focused on foods that Dolly cooked or enjoyed, so I was excited to see The Unofficial Dollywood Cookbook to see what sorts of foods Dolly feels fit to serve at Dollywood. The book began with a quick description of the different areas of Dollywood and the history of foods in those areas. Like many cookbooks, it then gives some helpful tips and techniques for cooking the recipes included. The cookbook has a ton of recipes that cover classic amusement park foods and lots of unique options. All in all, this is a great book for any fan of Dolly or Dollywood!

With 100 recipes to try out in my own kitchen my family looks forward to me cooking though this cookbook this summer. I've already selected a few of my go to recipes for bbqs & picnics.

I grew up going to Dollywood as a child into a teen and when I had a child, we took her to Dollywood a few years ago. I fell in love with some of the recipes or foods that are always offered at the park and now I do. When I first learned that there was going to be a cookbook that had some of the best foods you can find inside Dollywood, I was ecstatic. I went ahead and checked out the cookbook and found several very simple yet delicious recipes that I had to try. The first one was definitely a good one and a must make was the Grist Mill Cinnamon Bread. I did tweak the recipe a little to be able to use Gluten Free Flour but man, was it good. Another favorite that I had to make was the Peanut Butter Fudge and to say that it brought me back to thinking and wishing I was in the park, was all the feels. I plan on purchasing this book to add to my collection of park cookbooks and to continue to make all my favorite recipes at home when I'm not inside Dollywood!

I am a huge fan of Dolly Parton, so I was excited about this book. And I was very satisfied with the recipes and surprised that there was a short tidbit or personal story from the author. That made the book a bit more than you’d think of a cookbook being.

The recipes seem to be well written and there’s several I already have plans to make, especially the chicken sandwich! There is such variety and memories within the recipes, from fairs and carnivals and amusement parks across the country. I’m not sure that anyone would be able to say they can’t find anything they liked in this book. It’s definitely worth the time and money!

Loved, loved, loved it!! I am obsessed with all things Dolly Parton s this was perfect for me. I read it cover to cover and can't wait to try out some of the recipes with my family.

A fun cookbook showing the unofficial recipes of some of the most loved dishes you can find throughout Dollywood park. This book is colorful and fun to read. It has a “parks and state fair” vibe to it that would make it a great gift. The recipes look good and make us want to go to the park and enjoy our summers there trying these foods and drinks. There are 100 recipes from snacks, lunch and dinner to sides, sweets and drinks. Great for Dollywood fans and for anyone that loves Fair foods and American Cuisine. What a fun, well laid out cookbook!

Love Dollywood and really enjoyed all the background history and talk about the specific areas and their foods. There is a ton of awesome recipes. I just wish there were more photos -- I just don't understand doing such a great cookbook and not including full color photos for each recipe.
