These all sound so good. I love that these samples are posted because it gives readers a chance to get a feel for each book. I can't wait to pick some of these up.

I do plan on some more in depth thoughts on each sample.

I love these samplers. They are a big help for deciding whether or not I feel like some of the new and upcoming releases are a good fit for me. I do wish the table of contents had clickable titles that would open to that particular sample. It's a bit tedious if you want to go back to a specific title. Anyhow this sampler was pretty good and did get me interested in at least a couple of the upcoming releases.

I started this collection purely to read ‘Warrior Girl Unearthed’ but was surprised by how good some of the other samples were. I’m not a huge fan of high fantasy but really enjoyed the creativity and lush writing of both ‘Venom & Vow’ and ‘Of Light and Shadow.’ Another great contribution, ‘Forever is Now,” pulled me right in, I can’t resist a good novel in verse. I don’t know what is going on in either ‘The Melancholy of Summer’ or ‘A Little Like Waking,’ but I love the characters I met in both and want to find out what happens to them. For having a pretty cheesy cover, ‘A Guide to the Dark’ was super interesting, and the pictures included are a cool departure from the norm. The best surprise though was ‘I’ll Tell You No Lies’ which I will be laying hands on ASAP! Downed Russian fighter pilot, in New York, what? All in all, very much worth my time. We will have some hits coming out of this one for sure..

The ARC I got was only a preview so I can't comment on the story in it's entirety. What I can say is that what I read was written well. I liked the setting and I liked the little bit of the characters I got to see. I don't think I'll be getting this when it comes out because I just don't think it's for me but if you are a fan of vampires this might be for you.

I love these samplers. As my TBR grows and grows, it is great to have a sample of so many different books to help me plan my next read. I will definitely be picking up a few of these to read the full book when released.

The Fierce Reads Spring 2023 sampler was fantastic! I’m looking forward to Warrior Girl Unearthed, Court of the Undying Seasons, and I’m Not Supposed to Be in the Dark. Anna-Marie McLemore is one of my favorite writers and yet this is my first time hearing about Venom & Vow, so I am very excited to read that! I had not previously heard about A Little Like Waking, but it is definitely on my TBR now. The Dos and Donuts of Love and The Melancholy of Summer are also now on my radar!

From historical fantasies to a coming-of-age novel in verse, this sampler provides a range of different genres and stories. I appreciate being able to read these samplers, as they introduced me to new upcoming books and talented authors I wouldn't have found otherwise. Fierce Reads Spring 2023 Digital Sample - Macmillian Children's Publishing Group - 5/5

This Fierce Reads sampler has so many great young adult books in it, most are officially on my 'to be read' list. The ones that stood out the most to me were Venom and Vow, A Little Like Waking, and Court of the Undying Seasons. Each sample gives you just enough of a peak into the story that lets you know if it is something you will enjoy or simply something not up your alley. Great sampler and I look forward to reading these books.

The Fierce Reads sampler for young adult reads is always my favorite and I end up requesting and/or ultimately reading about 90% of the books listed. What I enjoy the most is the fact that often I end up reading samples of books I often otherwise wouldn’t choose for myself but end up really enjoying. I’m so grateful to have stumbled across these and look forward to them coming out. This sampler my favorite was Angeline Boulley’s exciting follow up her first novel, The Fire Keeper’s Daughter which was excellent! I enjoyed the sample of the sequel and can’t wait to read the full length version when it’s released ! Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read early excerpts of all these great books!
