“And by the way, my dear, forget the prince and princess. I always imagined the most interesting story was between the witch and the dragon.”
My FOMO made me read Archer’s Voice and just like that I fell in love with Mia Sheridan’s storytelling. Then along came Travis and Archer had to move over because… Travis 🤌🏼 and here we are now. With a new ruler in town. Move out of the way Archer and Travis. You got nothing on Grayson 😱
Grayson’s vow was to be awful to Kira. I mean, it wasn’t but could totally be. Yet he is still ours to endure, to care for, to hold. Because before he became this grumpy man, he was just a boy looking for love.
And love is what Kira does best. We all probably met a person or two like her. They sweat love. It comes out of their pores and they spread it around like unicorns spread rainbows. They give it freely and they give it over and over again. And not because they don’t know pain or hurt. But precisely because they do.
Honestly, I thought this book was going to be good but lukewarm. Can’t say I saw it coming but it only took a handful of pages to realize how wrong I was. This book was definitely not lukewarm. It made me feel all things all the time all over the place. A favorite of the month and one of mt favorites of the year for sure 🖤

I loved this book! Mia Sheridan does a great job in the books that I have read of hers. This is my 3rd one and my 2nd favorite. Archers voice is so amazing, and if I can recommend any of her books, it would be that one.

This book was cute and sweet and who didn't love a marriage of convince. I think a lot of people don't like this book because Grayson is a a jackass for some parts of the book. If you look at the whole picture, they did not know each other before, and all of this takes place in under a year. He was going through a lot being out of prison and his father leaving him with a Vinyard that was set to fail. The agreement they both made was to not fall for each other, but you know they will, but that still doesn't mean it's going to be quick and easy. For Kira, she falls in love quickly, and Gray is not as easy. He has been through a lot, and it's hard for him. He grew up with being a disappointment to everyone and no one wanting to love him. Even after they finally get together, he learns things that are hard to hear all at once, and it takes a lot of trust out of him. Most of the things he said were out of line but are understandable for his situation. It seemed to him that everyone was against him, even Charlotte and walter. He had to work through it, and then Kira was just in situations that looked bad with no context, so it was just more stabs in the back. Many dislike this book, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. No one is perfect, and Grayson isn't either. This isn't one of those "he is the perfect husband" books where he is just amazing. Grayson was struggling with a lot.

I loved this so much!! Thank you, NetGalley, for this book.

I really wanted to love this one, but it ended up being just okay for me. I loved Kira's character right from the very beginning, but I struggled to connect to Grayson's character and never really grew a liking to him. His character was just very unlikeable (due to events that unfold in the book) and because of this, I was never truly sold on Kira and Grayson's relationship.
The book started off very slow for me, but once all the of the little details fall into place, then the book starts to speed up. The dialogue between Kira and Grayson in the early pages of the book felt dry and a little boring, although it did heat up towards the end which I enjoyed. Overall, the concept and tropes of the book were very enjoyable!! I just had such a hard time liking Grayson's character that my dislike for him overshadowed the good parts.
Overall, this book was still a good romance and Mia Sheridan tackled the marriage-of-convenience trope very well!! I would still recommend this book, as most readers may not have as big of an issue with Grayson's character as I did. Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for this free arc in exchange for my honest review.

This was overall another cute soulmate romance, which is what I have come to expect from Mia Sheridan. I really liked the main female heroine Kira a lot, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of Grayson. All the side characters as well were super cute as well! The only other issue I had with this book is I found the writing to be a bit awkward at times,

Grayson's Vow is my first by Mia Sheridan and I'm unsure if I'll be picking up another book by this author. I "did not finish" this novel at 32 percent as I couldn't get into the writing style. Sheridan's consistent usage of pet names witch and dragon were odd and did not lead me to warm up to any main character. I also wasn't a huge fan of the way Sheridan was writing Virgil, a neurodivergent character.

Grayson's Vow by Mia Sheridan is a gripping marriage-of-convenience romance that delivers an emotional journey filled with passion, healing, and the power of love. From the very first page, this book had me hooked, and I devoured it in a single sitting—it was simply unputdownable.
The story follows the lives of Kira Dallaire and Grayson Hawthorn, two individuals who find themselves at a crossroads in life, each facing their own challenges. Kira, desperate to access her inheritance and escape her abusive father's control, proposes a business marriage to Grayson, a convicted felon struggling to revive his family's vineyard. Their agreement seems straightforward—a one-year marriage followed by a divorce and a fair split of the money—but their journey together soon becomes far more than they bargained for.
One of the strengths of Grayson's Vow is the compelling dynamic between the two protagonists. Kira's vibrant and kind-hearted nature contrasts beautifully with Grayson's serious and grumpy demeanor. Their initial clashes create an undeniable tension, but as their story unfolds, we witness their walls crumbling, making room for personal growth, self-love, and a deep connection that neither expected. The push and pull between them, their electrifying chemistry, and the intense attraction they both try to deny take readers on a roller coaster of emotions.
Mia Sheridan's writing shines in this novel, allowing readers to fully immerse themselves in the characters' journey. The narrative expertly explores themes of healing, letting go of the past, and finding the courage to embrace love. The author beautifully captures the evolution of the relationship, as well as the complexities and vulnerabilities of the characters. Grayson and Kira's love story is not only heartwarming but also thought-provoking, reminding us of the transformative power of genuine connection.
Throughout the book, Mia Sheridan skillfully blends moments of laughter, tears, and swoon-worthy romance. The story had me emotionally invested, laughing at their witty banter, shedding tears during their struggles, and sighing in contentment during their most tender moments. If you're a fan of grumpy/sunshine dynamics, enemies-to-lovers tropes, and heartwarming marriage-of-convenience stories, Grayson's Vow is an absolute must-read.
I can confidently say that Mia Sheridan has once again delivered a captivating and beautifully written romance. Grayson's Vow is a testament to her talent for crafting engaging stories that leave a lasting impact on readers. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey of love, growth, and second chances.

Grayson & Kira cross paths by chance at the local bank. Grayson was just turned down a loan for his winery, and Kira found out she only has a couple thousand dollars to her name. They’re both discouraged thinking of the future, until Kira finds out her Gram left her a trust with one million dollars, which will be released to her upon her 30th birthday, or once she’s married. Kira decides to go with option two, and approaches Grayson with the idea of marriage. She proposes a business deal for them including, one year marriage, followed by a divorce, and splitting the money down the middle. Kira will have money to live, and Grayson will have the money to restore his fathers vineyard.
But as we all know marriages of convenience are hard to keep up when feelings turn too real. Grayson and Kira’s love story is full of healing, self love, letting go of the past, loving your found family, and being brave enough to let yourself fall in love.
Another great read from Mia Sheridan!

Love Mia's writing and this one had me feeling all the feels. Grayson and Kira are the opposite attract goodness that I have grown to love. These two made me laugh, cry, and swoon throughout their story. Definitely a must read for those fans of opposites attract, marriage of convenience!

As always, thank you Netgalley to read the ARC of this book. With that being said, all hail Mia Sheridan. I absolutely loved this book, and it was a solid 4.5/5 for me. I cried, I laughed, I felt every emotion possible while reading it. I didn't quite enjoy the dragon/witch reference, but that didn't deter me from reading further. Kira and Grayson have been through so much hurt, and deserve all the love in the world.

overview-
All that Kira has left is her liquified bank account and whatever is in the trunk of her car. She cut herself off from her father, the politician ex-mayor, and needs to make a plan.
That’s when she overhears Grayson Hawthorn being denied a loan to keep his late father’s vineyard. Can’t give loans to felons.
She comes up with a proposition for him. If they get married, she can cash out her gram’s inheritance for her, giving them each $500,000. He can save his vineyard, and she doesn’t have to sleep on the streets.
Win-win for both of them. Until she falls in love with him.

This book had me in the middle. The dialog started much too toneless and professional, but as they started to fall in love it became sweet and enjoyable to read. The romance was believable, as a reader you could tell that the characters were attached to each other. I liked Grayson’s story (his parents never cared about him, taken in by the vineyard staff, and arrested for an accident that ended up killing someone).
I think a lot of people would like this, but for such a tropey book (fake marriage, forced proximity, and all) it didn’t have much that differentiated it from others. The storyline was good, and the vineyard setting was nice, but the writing was just a little slow. A lot of telling-not-showing.

This book was so good, I loved it, I devoured it in one sitting. Unputdownable!
Grayson and Kira are polar opposites, Kira is vibrant and kind, supportive and sweet, and her personality always leads her to big trouble, Grayson is serious, quiet and grumpy, fate unites them and from the first moment they clash, but they have more in common than they think, soon they are forced into a marriage of convenience that will help them both, I loved the way in which the author narrates the story and the evolution of the relationship, the push and pull between them and their electrifying chemistry, the intense attraction they both try to deny, the emotion, the angst, it is a roller coaster of feelings
They made me laugh, cry and sigh. This is a great story, so beautiful, if you're a fan of grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience then you need to read this book

The thing that I’ve come to really love about Mia Sheridan is the surprise that you just never see coming.
Things I loved:
This was my 5th book to read by Sheridan. I just have come to really love her writing style. Each of her books has been different from the others, yet with a distinct Mia Sheridan vibe. I’m hooked on the way she develops her characters and makes them feel so darn real.

✨ BOOK REVIEW ✨ Grayson’s Vow by Mia Sheridan
~ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ~
I am a HUGE fan of Mia Sheridan’s Archer’s Voice and was so excited to read Grayson’s Vow… but it just didn’t do it for me. As always, I love LOVE so those parts gave me butterflies but there were so many moments that extinguished those butterflies reeeeaaal quick. One of my least favorite tropes in romance is miscommunication and boy did this story have so much of it. I also didn’t love Kira… I very much needed to be convinced that she wasn’t on one 😂 And while I loved Grayson initially, I eventually lost interest as he just seemed like an angry asshole. The premise for this love story was creative and a bit whacky which I didn’t hate, but the more I read, the less I believed their growing love.

I was really hoping this book was going to meet my expectations after reading Archers Voice and loving it. Unfortunately it did not. I didn’t care for their relationship at all. I found this book very hard to stay interested it personally.
I wish the author much success with this book. While I did not enjoy it, I’m sure others will for sure.

Kira Dellaire is desperate for freedom from her controlling and abusive father, and Grayson Hawthorn is determined to honor a vow made to his own father before his death. They both need something that the other can help with, namely money from Kira’a inheritance from her grandmother that she can only collect by getting married. Grayson needs the funds to revive his family’s ailing winery, and so they strike a deal.
Grayson’s Vow was originally published in 2015 as part of Mia Sheridan’s Signs of Love series, and it represents the zodiac sign of Libra. I am a Libra myself so I absolutely loved watching Kira and Grayson find a sense of balance within each other. Kira was wild, witchy and brave in the face of Grayson’s fiery yet cold dragon behavior. She softened him and he fortified her. Watching them fall in love was magical. Their banter was top notch and it felt like they brought out the best in each other right from the start.
The 3rd act conflict was absolutely heartbreaking and honestly hard to read as Grayson so quickly put his walls back up. Hurt people hurt people but it was still hard to stomach how Grayson treated Kira after finding out the truth about their unexpected connection. I absolutely loved how Kira masterminded a way to save the day. Grayson’s new vow was a swoon-worthy conclusion to their journey back to each other.
Overall I loved this one and would recommend to romance readers in general and especially those that love: 😠 🌞 grumpy/sunshine 💒 fake marriage to collect an inheritance 🐉 grumpy as a dragon, cold as ice hero 💃 witchy, bold, brave and fearless heroine ♎️ perfect balance found together 🍷 Napa wine country and winemaking
TW: abuse by parent, intimate partner violence (not by hero)

An enemies to lovers, fake marriage with lots of complicated relationships. Both of the main characters had a tough childhood that had me rooting for their HEA. I really liked the depth to Grayson and the optimism Kira had despite her past.

Thank you Mia Sheridan and Bloom Books for an ARC via NetGalley of this book.
This was a little slow to start but once they worked out the details of their arranged marriage, the story picked up and I enjoyed the book overall.
I liked that the book referenced fairy tales but instead of focusing on the prince and princess, it compared Kira and Grayson to the witch and dragon. It lent itself to the idea that everyone deserved their own HEA, not just the perfect royals. Though I do have to say the use of the little witch and dragon as nicknames, along with their comparisons, felt a little contrived at times and overused but that's honestly a minor quibble. And what we saw was two flawed people shouldering the burden of providing for the people around them, pushing and working through their hurts to make sure they don't let anyone down. And along the way, they're given opportunities to heal past wounds as they explore their feelings and turn their convenient marriage into one with love. But I won't lie, their fallout later was hard. While I understood the emotions fueling a certain someone's actions, I really hated it for them and the one on the receiving end.
I loved that this story really focused on found families bc the side characters really showed that love doesn't have to come from blood (in fact, Kira and Grayson's families prove blood is simply that) and that there are plenty of people who are willing to fight for you if you give them the chance. Special honors go to Charlotte bc she loved these two hard with a side of sass and meddling. And you knew she was rooting for these two so they could never stay mad at her.
CN: open-door romance, child abuse and neglect, violence, past death of family members, brief scene with animal cruelty (by minor character)

This is my first experience with Mia Sheridan and I was left feeling meh. The book isn't BAD, but there were very few moments throughout that left me wanting to pick it up and read it as quickly as possible. I liked Kira and mostly liked Grayson, but the whole thing just needed... something else.

I snapped up this book as soon as I saw that it was Mia Sheridan because...duh. Admittedly, it did take me a bit to get into this book. The beginning didn't captivate me like previous books of hers. However, I stuck with it and soon was sucked in. There are a lot of twists and turns within this book. While it took me a long time to warm up to Grayson, in the end, my heart hurt so terribly for him. As for Kira, I couldn't get a true read on her, but she ended up being the heart of the story for me. She may have come from great means, but the strength of her character was her north star; she knew what was right and was willing to do whatever she needed to to pursue that path. I think she helped redeem Grayson and provided the means to keep his vow (in all senses of the word).
