I am never disappointed in Mia’s work. It is so heartfelt and beautiful and overall just perfection. I adored this book, even though it talked about heavy topics. However, Mia writes about these topics in such a great way.

I thought the premise was really witty and unique but our felon read as the average plain misunderstood male love interest and Kira just annoyed me. I wasn’t rooting for her. And Kira “overhearing” Grayson’s predicament “on accident” felt like such a lazy set up to me. Stopped at 8%.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC.

This is my first book by Mia Sheridan and just wow! She certainly knows how to tear my heart out, put it back together, then tear it out again before giving an HEA! What an emotional rollercoaster! Both Grayson and Kira are broken from past traumas, and in desperate financial straights in the present. Kira hatches a fake marriage plan that can benefit both of them, and Grayson reluctantly agrees.
Grayson, Grayson, Grayson. His character brought out so many conflicting emotions, from empathy, disgust, anger, frustration, and as soon as I thought I adored him, I wanted to kick him in the b*lls. If it weren't for Grayson's compassionate nature at the very beginning of the book, I would have hated him for the way he treats Kira, but those quick glimpses showed that he was capable of more than being an arrogant as*hole. But after all that, he is amazing!
By contrast, I loved Kira from the first! She has her own trauma to overcome, isn't the spoiled rich girl that Grayson thinks she is, and is devoted to helping others. Though Kira is known for her impulsive and risky plans, this time it pays off as Grayson and Kira end up being just what the other needs. All the ups and downs in the book made it hard to put down.
This book is a solid 4 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the digital arc. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and watching Kira and Grayson’s relationship develop. I wish there was a bit less back and forth, as the arguments seemed a little far fetched and I wasn’t crazy about how mean Grayson could be to Kira. I love Mia Sheridan and genuinely enjoy all of her books, but I can’t say this one is my favorite. The story was a little too dramatic and drawn out in my opinion. I still think it’s worth the read if you’re looking for a well written, marriage of convenience romance!

Grayson’s Vow
Wow. Just Wow. Mia Sheridan
Kira has been left a nice inheritance by her grandma, which is just what she needs in order to get out from under her fathers thumb. The only problem is she has to wait 8 years to get it, or get married. Without a prospective boyfriend in sight, she finds herself in a pickle.
Grayson has been out of jail for a year, and is barely keeping his family's vineyard afloat. It was left to him by his father, and Grayson made a vow to make sure he got it up and running. The only problem is, he has no money.
When Kira shows up asking him to marry her, Grayson is in no place to say no. He can handle a quick year of marriage and a quickie divorce, right?
Synopsis
This dual POV romance gave me all the feels. I read this novel in less than 24 hours, I could NOT put it down. I loved the grumpy sunshine and sexual tension that went with it. It was the perfect amount of banter and made me jump right to another Mia Sheridan book because I needed more of a fix.
GREAT BOOK! 4.5 Stars!
Review to come on Instagram in June! (Before publishing date in July)

Kira must marry to get her inheritance. Grayson need to resurrect his family's vineyard. A temporary marriage of convenience solves their issues... but feelings enter...
If you love Archer's Voice, this is another great book for you. Lots of angst, deep emotions, drama and misunderstanding. The heroine is great... The hero took a lot of warming up for me... But the book does have a HEA...
Thanks to the publisher for the ARC.

As always Mia Sheridan did not disappoint. Loved it ever second of it. I suggest that you give this book at least a try because it was a nice read. thank you NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for this read.

Felt like this story felt a little flat however I did still enjoyed this book. I do wish the characters had a little more depth like we have before with the authors previous titles.
3.5 Stars.

Mia never disappoints. Her books can be spicy but it never takes away from the story line. I love books with hard topics but it’s more relatable that way. Loved this one so much

While I love Mia Sheridan’s books, this one wasn’t my favourite! Didn’t love the characters and really didn’t like the pet names. It was a fairly quick read and I enjoyed some parts but it just wasn’t my favourite. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange of an honest review!

Year's ago, I read Archer's Voice and I loved (LOVED) that story. It was beautifully written, but most of all, so emotional! When I saw that there was a new (okay, not especially new, but you get the point) book of this author, I knew I had to read it.
And o my, this book did not disappoint! It was just as emotional as Archer's Voice. I loved the chemistry between the MC's, although the switch between 'hating' and 'liking' did go a little bit fast.
I am a sucker for haters to lovers AND marriage of convenience and this book has them both. And they were handled perfectly by the other. Like I said, the switch was a little bit too fast, but that is forgiven. This was an amazing story which I really enjoyed!
4 stars!

2.5 ⭐️
The book was ok. I'm not a big fan of misunderstanding trope that causes problems for no reason. And I think this book had a lot of that just to create some drama. When MANY of the things could have been solved by the two MC just talking and acting their actual age.
And I don't know but I just couldn't get behind the whole "dragon" pet name thing. It felt very forced to me.

3.5 stars
I love Mia Sheridan books but this one wasn't my fav by her 😭. I do love the cover for this book and the story did start off really strong and promising. I was instantly hooked but then the cringey pet names 😭😭😭. I did enjoy the grumpy sunshine trope in this book but I wish there were more complexity to the character development. This book was a easy fast read for me! The book does has some frustrating moments such as not communicating properly between Kira and Grayson ☠️ I was not a huge fan of Grayson in this book 😭

The author always has a way of writing characters that really suck you in and give you a real depiction of their lives. She describes their emotions so well it really pulls you in and makes you feel what they feel.
Grayson Hawthorn, an ex con, is desperate to save his families winery but the bank won’t give him a loan because of his status.
Kira is estranged from her father, but needs money. She found a loop her in her her inheritance from her Gram, she only has to her married. She thinks it’s a win-win for both parties and proposes the idea to Grayson.
Enter this perfect marriage of convenience, close proximity, touch her and you will be hurt book!
Both main characters come from such hurtful backgrounds and they have to learn how to actually be married and let go of their control and anger and hurt.
These tropes were done so well!! Definitely recommend

I love all Mia Sheridan’s books. This one about a marriage of convenience fell a little flat for me, even though I still thought it was good. It was just different from what I’m used to reading from her. It’s always hard for me to warm up to the male main character in a story when he starts out being cruel. Also, the lead female character, Kyra, seemed over the top naïve. Side note: I didn’t love the pet names, though I can see how they came to play later in the story.
I still enjoyed this book. I wish the characters had the depth we usually get from Ms. Sheridan’s books.
3.5/5 Stars.
Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, Bloom Books for this complimentary ARC. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Mia Sheridan has been on my reading list for ages, so when I got my hands on an ARC of Grayson's Vow, I was excited to dive in. I love a good grump-sunshine, marriage of convenience romance, but unfortunately, this book didn't quite live up to my expectations.
While the story started off strong, I found myself disappointed as it progressed. The use of pet names like "the dragon" and "little witch" made me cringe, and I didn't understand why the male lead was so mean to the female lead without any explanation. The characters lacked depth, and their goodness felt almost too perfect to be real. Personally, I prefer flawed characters with more complexity, and Grayson's Vow didn't quite deliver in that regard.
All that being said, if you're in the mood for a straightforward, feel-good story, Grayson's Vow might be the book for you. It has a charming premise, and if you're a fan of the grump-sunshine trope, you might enjoy it more than I did. But if you're looking for a more nuanced, complex story, you might want to look elsewhere.

Dnf @ 38%
Unfortunately, I stopped reading this one at 38%, which was such a shame, as like many others, I loved Archer's voice.
I just couldn't click with Grayson and Kira. I couldn't get behind their marriage of convenience - it almost felt too convenient?
Kira got on my nerves, sunshine but a doormat.
Also, I think I checked out after being introduced to Walter & Charlotte. My pet peeve as a British reader is American authors making British characters say super obnoxious things that Brits don't say. (Serious eye roll at "Walter Popplewell was from Wandsworth - a proper English gentleman in all respects. Have y'all been to Wandsworth???)
Thank you to Mia Sheridan, Bloom Books and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review

Thank you, Sourcebooks for an advanced copy of Grayson's Vow! I was excited to read a book by Mia Sheridan.
Kira Dallaire needs money. She no longer wants to rely on her abusive father and wants nothing to do with her ex-fiancée. In a moment of desperation, she gets a hair-brained idea to marry Grayson Hawthorne.
Grayson Hawthorne is a convicted felon, and is in dire straits. He made a vow to resurrect his family's winery to its former glory, and with no help, it looks like he will fail. That is until he meets Kira Dallaire.
A business marriage. Kira needs to get married to access her trust fund from her departed grandmother. With it, she will be out from under her father's thumb, and Grayson can fulfill his vow.
This book started very strong. It was fast-paced and got to the plot quickly. This is a classic grumpy x sunshine trope.
The banter is fun and quippy.
However, that is about all I liked.
I don't understand what Grayson liked about Kira. At first, he thinks very little of Kira but wants to sleep with her and then wants to date her. I don't get it. Nothing happened differently between any of those different emotions. Also, he was obsessed with sleeping with her.
It was so icky. I felt like I was reading the inner thoughts of a frat boy.
Kira was just TOO good. TOO nice. It is so unbelievable. She has no money, and no home. Nothing, but she wants money to give to charity? Give me a break. Additionally, Kira is extremely childish. I found myself rolling my eyes at all of her antics. Threatening to break a wine bottle that is not yours because Grayson has your paper? Really?
Finally, Grayson is terrible to Kira. Instead of communicating, he lashes out at Kira for everything. He doesn't listen and thinks he knows everything. Also, Grayson has a drinking problem. If anything went wrong, he hit the bottle. He's emotionally abusive to Kira, and she forgives him.
Finally, what was with the housekeeper roofing Grayson when Kira was sick? What is that? It was odd and cringe..

Grayson's Vow by Mia Sheridan is a marriage of convenience, stand-alone romance. Kira comes from money but she is estranged from her father and she will have to live out of her car if she does not get some money soon. Grayson has been out of prison for a year and hes trying to run his family's vineyard but the bank will not approve him for a loan. Kira has an inheritance from her grandmother but in order to get the money, she must be married. Grayson Hawthorn is a name she is familiar with so when she sees him at the bank, she offers him half her money for a marriage of convenience. Grayson only sees Kira as a spoiled rich girl whose daddy cut her off. He has a lot of judgements and assumptions about her that he does not care to change even if they aren't true. Grayson's stepmother was outwardly similar to Kira so I see why he made those assumptions but Kira could have easily made assumptions about him since he's a felon but she didn't. She knows about his past but does not judge him for it. Grayson has had an extremely rough past and a traumatizing childhood. He has major trust issues and does not let anyone in. I tried to keep this in mind while reading but it got to a point where I could not excuse his behavior anymore. He wanted a purely physical relationship with Kira (mostly out of convenience) but Kira resisted because she knew she would develop feelings. Grayson kept pushing her through even when she told him no. This combined with how hot and cold he was towards her was so frustrating. They could never have conversations about their complicated relationship because he would just kiss her even when it was uncalled for. Around the 80% mark they finally got back together after another fight and it was bliss for a while until things blew up again. This book has a lot of drama and complicated feelings. It is understandable considering how both characters grew up but unfortunately I was over it really quickly. There are some sweet moments and found family which helped the book some but those were the only redeemable qualities.

Thank you Netgalley and Mia Sheridan for the ebook. If you like:
• marriage of convenience
• grumpy/sunshine

• found family
then this is the book for you. I’m a huge fan of Mia Sheridan but I have to say I didn’t love this one. Let me start with the pros: I really liked Kira. I always admire people (real or fictional) who can turn their hurt into grit and compassion. I also adored the way Charlotte and Walter loved and nurtured Grayson. Walter’s conversation with Grayson at the end of the book made me tear up.
What I didn’t like: I found the first third of the book kind of boring. That’s not usually the case with Mia’s books so I’m not sure why it didn’t work for me. And sadly I wasn’t a Grayson fan. He had every reason to be angry with the world and to be distrustful but I wish the people who cared about him would have held him accountable for being a jerk. He behaves really badly at times and doesn’t really get called on it.
Overall it was only really 3.5⭐️ for me. However, I will absolutely continue to read Mia Sheridan books because she’s darn talented.
