When I want to be emotionally wrecked with a side of smut, Mia Sheridan is my go-to author. GRAYSON'S VOW delivers on that vibe.

I adored the enemies-to-lovers hate banter between Kira and Grayson. Their chemistry is off the charts during their verbal sparring and the oops-i-saw-you-naked moment. Kira is such a badass heroine, who is forging her own path and working hard to stand on her own. And Grayson will just break your effing heart. His broody assholery hides a man dealing with grief and trying to feel wanted.

I absolutely loved the themes of found family in GRAYSON'S VOW. Unconditional love and acceptance is all around these two characters whose own families would not give them the same. Watching it unfold is a delight.

And talk about steamy hotness! Once these two finally get it on they really GET IT ON. I was here for every single bit of it.

GRAYSON'S VOW is an emotional roller coaster that is well worth the ride.

𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟: Rated R / 2-4 descriptive sex scenes, may have harsh language.
𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦: assault, parent affairs, emotionally abusive parent, past parent abandonment, mention of date-rape drugs
𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗦: 5/5 - Broke my heart and then put it back together.

👌🏻what i liked:
I really enjoyed the love story and the backdrop that was painted as the story went.

🙃 what i didn’t like:
I wasn’t pulled in from the beginning. I found that it was hard to get into, but I kept reading because I have liked a large majority of Mia’s books. I found it odd that the characters weren’t together that much.

🥰 special thanks
Thank you to NetGalley, Mia Sheridan, and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for granting me this e-ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Told in dual points of view, you get the full story from both main characters. Tropes of grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers. This is a really emotion causing story, so be prepared to feel all of the feelings.

Marriage of convenience between two characters with their own troubled past. A steamy, dramatic stand alone with plenty of chemistry and tension. This story held my interest and was a different spin on the Marriage of convenience trope. Entertaining, a good time

To get her inheritance, Kira needs to be married. With no money and fewer options, she comes up with a plan and a target. Grayson is a convicted felon with dwindling resources and a failing vineyard when Kira presents him with a business proposal he can’t refuse. But what begins as a temporary arrangement soon threatens to become more.

So clearly I have a thing for arranged marriages, some dislike to lovers and now ex-felons 😂. Cheers to that! But seriously, I did really love this one. Gray is also a grump and a bit of a jerk which really tugs at my I have daddy issues heart and who can resist a vineyard setting? Not this girl 🙋🏼‍♀️. Throw in some good steam and we have ourselves a winner 🥇. If you liked Unfortunately Yours, you will like this one as well (this one is better 😉).

I love a marriage of convenience. Plus, these two are both desperate, and I love seeing them agree to this plan. There is just something special about knowing they are going to totally fall for one another despite the best intentions. The connections between these two added so much to this story, and I enjoyed seeing everything play out. I've been told this one has a little less depth than Mia's other books, so I am definitely looking forward to diving into her other books!

Oh, boy. Let me just say I felt all the emotions while reading Grayson’s Vow. Ultimately my heart broke for both Kira and Grayson, both of whom were dealt a crappy hand when it came to parents (which had me feeling anger and rage on behalf of both of them) - and life. Their story was, at times hard, but at other times it was sweet, in the end it made my heart happy to see these two broken, but brave and strong souls overcome their pasts, and everything they’ve gone through and create something beautiful.

Grayson’s Vow has been on my TBR for years. Fake relationships are having a moment right now so I can see why this book was re-released. I found the premise behind this fake relationship to be kind of weak (Kira wants to jump start an inheritance and offers Grayson half of it to help keep his winery afloat). I usually enjoy Mia Sheridan’s books so this is likely more of a me thing with the currently overblown trope. That being said, once Kira and Grayson finally got on the same page together, I enjoyed their story a lot more.
*Thanks to Bloom books and NetGalley for the advance copy for review.

Kira deserved better. I HATED Grayson once we got to the 80% mark but even before that he would get on my nerves. The disgusting things he said to Kira had me wanting to throw my kindle. I honestly can’t believe the same author who wrote the perfect Archer Hale wrote this man.

Kira deserved sooo much better. Grayson wasn’t any better than her father or Cooper. Can we please get a sequel where she realizes her self-worth and leaves Grayson?

I love marriage for convenience as a trope and I love Mia Sheridan so I was so excited to read this book. Unfortunately, Grayson ruined it all. I don’t mean to keep repeating myself but this man solidified why I hate men.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this arc in exchange for an honest review.

✨Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.✨

Fake marriage + forced proximity + grumpy sunshine

Kira propositions Grayson to get married so they can both benefit from her grandmothers inheritance! He can save his family winery that is on the brink of failure and she can live without her fathers money and donate to her charities. A marriage of convenience for both of them.

Kira and Grayson are such a fun couple.
I loved their dynamic and angst.

This book is well written, original and another masterpiece by the amazing Mia Sheridan.

Kira has moved back to the states from helping her friend build a hospital for women for the last year. She’s determined to not rely on her father for anything. She hasn’t been anything more than a pawn for him. Grayson has been released from prison after spending the last five years there. He’s trying to revive his family vineyard that his father left him when he passed. Grayson is approached by Kira a stranger, who offers him half her inheritance from her grandmother if he’ll marry her. When he decides that’s the only way he’ll be able to save the vineyard he agrees. But makes it clear that it’s not a real marriage. Both Grayson and Kira didn’t come from loving home’s growing up. Grayson has a wall built around his heart. Where Kira is more accepting to love. Grayson was a total jerk in the beginning and throughout the book. But it didn’t make me not like him. This is an angsty, emotional story. That will draw you in from the start.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Kira needs to get married to receive her inheritance.
Grayson is a convicted felon and can’t get a loan from the bank, to help his family’s vineyard. Kira overhears him at the bank and decides to strike a deal with Grayson. Get married and split the money. What could go wrong?
I love a good marriage of convenience book and this one did not disappoint! This book was great!!! Although, Mia Sheridan’s books always are! it’s filled with heartache, lies, and love. Definitely add this to your tbt list! I highly recommend!

Thank you to Mia Sheridan and Bloom Books for the opportunity to read and advanced readers copy of the re-publish of Grayson's Vow.

Honestly, in my eyes, Mia Sheridan can do no wrong when it comes to writing romance novels. The way she can capture the story and a dual perspective makes me fall in love with sometimes unlovable characters. In the case of this story, the FMC and MMC are, both, strong, fearless and beautiful characters with horrible pasts. Our FMC Kira is from a rich and well-known family and our MMC, Grayson, is a struggling and infamous individual. What happens when you put them together? A sad, harsh and beautiful love story.

This is my first ever Marriage of Convienience trope novel. I, honestly, always thought this trope is kind of odd and unrealistic, but even with my trepidations, I loved it! It brought so many feelings and emotions that I didn't expect.

Lastly, my favorite aspect of this story is the found family. Charlotte is the cutest "housekeeper" and captures our hearts. Even Virgil and Jose bring so much warmth and love into this story.

Overall, this book is an easy 5- star for me.

✨PUB DAY REVIEW✨

Grayson’s Vow by Mia Sheridan

Can you LOVE a book & also think some parts were really weird? 🤣

This one is out today - by the same author that wrote “Archer’s Voice” 🤍

I flew through this one bc it was so hard to put down!! I loved the witty banter between Grayson & Kira and the tension was top notch. I was rooting for both of them so hard. Their upbringings/parents majorly failed them & they both deserved a lot more.

Read if you love—
🫶🏼 enemies to lovers
🫶🏼 marriage of convenience
🫶🏼 found family
🫶🏼 nicknames like “dragon” & “little witch” 😂😂😂
🫶🏼 vineyards/Napa
🫶🏼 tension & angst

Ok now to the weird parts LOL - there was one part with a potion involved (from Charlotte to Grayson) while Kira was sick and it threw me for a wholeeeee loop. If you’ve read this, message me about this 😂🫣 also, towards the beginning of their relationship I felt kinda strange about how some consent was handled. If these parts were cut out this would be hands down a 5 ⭐️ read for me.

Now if you haven’t read it yet I need you to go get it and let me know what you think!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

First Thank you Net Galley for the ARC,

This is my first Mia Sheridan book and I enjoyed it. I love a good marriage of convenience and grumpy/sunshine trope. I just wish some of the characters stories were a little more fleshed out and not rushed. I wish we got more of Kira’s backstory.

The book was very sweet, cute and if you are looking for a marriage of convenience story where the man owns a vineyard this is the book for you. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to read something light and easy for the summer.

Ojay, seriously, what more to you want from a romance novel?!

Kira needs a husband to gain access to her gran's trust that's been left to her: Grayson needs funds to keep his dead fathers dying vineyard alive. Can two hurt people save each other while trying to fix their own lives in the process?

The tension was so heavy and easily felt while reading that I cannot find fault in this book. There were great secondary characters who added that much more to the story making it an easy read. It is a bit of a slow burn as there is backstory to get through, but I thought it was paced out beautifully. I didn't see the twists coming, and I'm always here for that!

Mia has yet to disappoint, and I look forward to consuming more of her work!

This author has a chokehold on my emotions. Grayson’s Vow did just that. Kira needed her inheritance from her grandmother but it came with certain requirements, namely be married. She was willing to marry a perfect stranger rather than approach her father for money. That came with too many strings.

Grayson and Kira had many things to overcome. They grew together as people, learning how to trust and be genuine with each other. This story was a little lighter than the other books I’ve read by the author, but it still touched on topics that brought up many emotions. These two learned to love and be loved together and forge a found family with the people who cared for them the most.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

This marriage of convenience book is about Kira and Grayson and their unusual (or not, for readers) love story.

Kira is a politician's daughter who realizes her dad is not the great mayor he portrays, and when she is caught in the middle, she decides it's time to distance herself. But she needs money, and her grandmother left her a trust fund that she can access once she is married. Enter Grayson. I liked Kira; she was a little too innocent and good sometimes when I just wanted her to defend herself, but it is a nice change of pace to read about someone who believes in people.

Gray is a felon; he went to prison and was abandoned by everyone he knew, so he is a little grumpy and a lot rude. He also likes to jump to conclusions, and he does that to Kira when she offers him the money he needs to keep his father's winery afloat. She recently won him over because this is a romance book, despite all the heavy topics and drama. I enjoyed reading about Grayson and watching his journey unfold until their happily ever after.

If you like a marriage of convenience where the hero calls the heroine "my wife" every chance he gets, you might like this one.

Marriage of convenience written by Mia Sheridan? The perfect mix doesn’t exi-

I cried, I laughed, I got SUPER ANGRY that sometimes I wanted to beat the shit out of Grayson. But in the end the story came through and it was absolutely beautiful.

3 OUT OF 5 STARS

Kira overhears Grayson trying to get a loan at the bank to finance his vineyard. As she's in a rut herself, with the will of her grandmother forcing her to marry in order to gain her rightful inheritance, she ends up with the conclusion:
if she proposes marriage to Grayson, both of them could ideally save themselves from a bigger disappointment and threat. She would get rid of her abusive father, while he gets freedom, which is a rare opportunity given his reputation as a convicted felon.

As with every great marriage of convienience romance novel, there comes a point, where playing pretend it not enough. As both parties realise the fiery passion laying at their feet, their past comes back haunting for both of them.
With lies and deception weakening their connection, the burn for love comes as a salvation. Or a death sentence?
This delicious slow burning romance of two lost souls was a perfect weekend read!
The miscommunication and misunderstanding trope is dominant in this one, so if you're not really a fan of those, I would rather not recommend picking it up!

I highly recommend checking out Archer's Voice by the author, too!
