Thrive is yet another fabulous, intense, and thrilling installment in the Addicted series, a series that I’m so utterly and ridiculously in love with. Each book in the series (and the spinoffs) is so exceptionally well written, and I really just can’t get enough of the characters. And Thrive is just as brilliant as the previous books, if not more so. I loved every single part of this book–I could totally gush all day about Thrive! It’s made me fall even more in love with all of the characters (who knew that was even possible?) and left me with such a warm, gooey feeling in my heart. So for all you Addicted series fans, Thrive should not be missed!!
This is my bad for sure, but I went into this not knowing it was book 4 in a TEN book series, there was a lot of me trying to play catch up with the recap. I liked the characters and their chemistry. I think the reason I didn't love it was that I messed up and started in the middle. It was good enough that I'll read the first in the series and see how I feel about it.
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for this Advanced Readers Copy of Thrive by Krista & Becca Ritchie!
This series truly just gets better and better with each book, and I could not be more grateful for that. It is hard to put into words how much these books mean to me 🤧
As Lily & Lo are my favorite couple from this series, it felt so good to be back in their heads again. I think some people get annoyed that this book is basically a Lily & Lo's POV recap of Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower, but I personally LOVED it! There were a lot of behind-the-scenes aspects that I was curious about (and some that I had no idea about) going on in KTS and HF, which I felt were just so interesting and important to read through the eyes of Lily & Lo. I'll never complain about getting more of them 🫶
Something that's hard about loving fictional characters so much is how much pain you feel when your favorite characters are suffering. Lily & Lo are no strangers to pain, but this book really put me through the wringer and had me sobbing multiple times 😭 It's so difficult to see them go through so much and think so harshly of themselves. But it also made their sweet, happy moments that much more uplifting — literally, I cried happy tears at all the happy parts too LOL. I just have so much admiration for Lily & Lo because, while they do struggle, they always weather the storm together 🥹 Their love is just so, so beautiful and like no other. I'll never get over it.
Overall, this book was another amazing addition to the series! I wholeheartedly believe that there is no other found family like the one found in this series. It's easily my top favorite series of all time, and I will forever be screaming from the rooftops for everyone to read it.
Thank you so much to Berkley Romance & NetGalley for an ARC of this book! 💌
I love this series with all of my heart but will keep this review short. So this book takes between Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower so if you haven’t read those books you will be a tiny bit spoiled and vice versa. As I have read those books before this one, I have to say a lot of the dialogue and scenes from those books were in this book which was a bit disappointing. We do get more inside info on Lo and Lily and a lot of it we already knew. I felt as though this story was more of a filler and not truly needed except for the last 100 pages of the book. I love the characters a lot so at the same time, I didn’t mind it but it’s a thick book that takes a while to read. Overall it was still a fun read with some exclusive scenes. I can’t wait to read Addicted After All!

Thrive book 4, part of the Addicted series penned by the talented duo Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie, introduces a mesmerizing ensemble of characters, enveloping readers in a world of sizzling romance and expertly crafted narratives.
"I'm going to love Lily how I want to love her. Overwhelmingly, uncompromisingly. Look away if you have to."
Swoon. Thrive is the Addicted Series novel that bridges the gap from Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower, but from the perspectives of my favorite duo, Lily and Loren. We get their take on all the reality show drama and betrayals, Paris, and how they are actually doing in their love, life, and their respective addictions/recovery. I love all of the characters in this series, but I'd be hard pressed to deny that LiLo are my favorite. The way they love each other is beautiful. The way they've grown and matured in that love since Addicted to You is so fun to read. Also, this book really digs deep into the way they see the other characters (Connor, Rose, Ryke, Daisy) journey to love, their love for each of them, and the way that love is tested at times. Lily loves each person for who they are with her entire being. Lo doesn't love anyone as openly as he loves Lil, but when he does love you he puts everything into it in his own way. Which isn't as soft as Lily, but it's his way.
Anyway. I absolutely adored this reread of Thrive and loved the fun bonus content that is included in the Berkley edition of this story. I recommend this series to anyone who loves an ongoing series that follows the highs and lows of love and life of a found family of characters. So ready for Addicted After All!
I've really been enjoying the addicting series and the accompanying Calloway Sister novels. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others but I think that is because I knew where the story was headed do to reading both Rose and Daisy's stories that occur within the same timeline. Despite that, I still enjoyed revisiting Lily and Lo and seeing what things looked like from their point of view. I look forward to seeing where things go next
I didn't realize when I was offered this book that it was part of a TEN book series and this was book 6. Therefore, starting with it will leave you lost a bit. I knew what was going on right away as I had read book 1 a few years ago - the topic was sex addiction and alcoholism - so there's not a ton of books out there with that topic. I remember being quite peeved at finding out there was a cliffhanger. Also, this is definitely a YA age book, On Book 6, this one, the h is just now turning 21.
So warnings here: no HEA, addictions, lots of angst and addiction recovery and young characters. If you want a long ride with some characters, this is great for you as there's 4 more books to come out. If you're looking for sweet with a nice ending, this is not it. Do not start with this book, but go back to Book 1 - Addicted to You.
Thrive is probably my least favorite book in this series so far. Not because I didn’t like it, but because it overlapped the same time period in Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower. It felt a little redundant. I do have to give the authors credit, though. They didn’t just rewrite the other two books from Lily and Lo’s point of view but added in new events and situations. There was so much more going on in their heads than I would have ever expected while reading the other two books. It was fun to see what they were up to behind the scenes.
While Thrive wasn’t completely necessary to read (since it overlaps the first two Calloway Sisters books), it was a fun addition to the series, and I do think readers will enjoy it. Plus, there's some fun new bonus content. Daisy's birthday scene was entertaining. I loved Rose's visit to Conor's apartment. And the text messages were good as well. This bonus content might be the best so far.
Another great addition to the Addicted series! It was fun to get back to Lily and Lo’s POVs; Lily is just so adorable, and I love her!
I enjoyed this one, but it was slightly boring/repetitive since it was just a rehash of the last two books. I’m excited to read the next installment!
Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher, and the authors for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
I would like to personally volunteer myself to be an honorary Calloway sister. I mean seriously... I have never read a more addicting (pun intended) group of friends/found family.

Lily and Lo are the ultimate couple. I was super worried that this book would feel repetitive since it covers the events of Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower, but I was surprised at how refreshing it felt. Lots of insight into Lily and Lo as they go through some setbacks.

Is this part of a million book series? Yes. should you still read every book? Yes. I love getting books from a different POV this one taking place from Loren's and Lo.
Love these two! And I absolutely adored being thrown back into this world with these characters. Thank you for letting me read this one.

This series has my heart and soul. Lily and Lo go through so much it breaks my heart seeing their struggles but it gets warmed back up to see the love that they have for each other. This book took me a bit to get through as it was Lily and Lo’s point of view of Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower. It took me a bit to get through since I already knew what was going to happen. I definitely do think that this book was necessary for the plot line for Lily and Lo and their reasonings for things they did in the previous books. I am so close to reaching the end of Lily and Lo with the next book being their last. I am super sad that their story is coming to an end but I am hoping we get a recovery. The bonus scenes are so cute, I loved seeing Lily’s POV or the birthday party and how Rose felt in chapter 4!!!

My favorite bonus content yet so far🫶🏻🥹these characters are everything and I absolutely live for these extra scenes!! I’ve already read this but got the ARC just for the extra content :)
per usual connor cobalt steals the show. HOWEVER i am loving lilly and loren’s journey. i’m proud of the steps they’ve made and how their love binds them to get better and no longer enables them i can’t wait to read the next part of this and see where life leads them
