I have taken compassion based mindfulness training classes in the past and the place where I get stuck is cultivating self-compassion. I have intentionally read several books on the topic, listened to podcasts and tried different techniques to get over this roadblock. To this point, I haven’t been able to move through my issues here. Until now. This is the very best, most clear and helpful book about self-compass that I’ve found. It contains lessons that resonate with me and tangible exercises to apply those lessons. Absolutely a volume that I will reference many times.
