This is a gorgeous collection of poems on life, grief, healing from loss, change, and becoming your best self. If a little bit simplistic at times, the poems were a very comforting read and the illustrations were amazing. I especially enjoyed the poem, “A Room Of Doorways”, because I found the idea that good can be found even in hard times to be comforting. The book had a very cozy, whimsical feeling to it that perfectly complimented its themes of rebirth..

This is one of the most beautiful collection of poems I’ve ever read. This book to me felt like a journey of healing. The artwork was super cute too and now I want to buy the physical copy when it comes out. Thanks to Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing an ARC.

Absolutely beautiful words written. I couldn’t put this down until I finished. So many poems and story resonated with how I feel most days which made this collection personal. Even more personal. Her words were raw and emotional but humble enough to keep your feet planted where you need to be.

Wow! I absolutely loved this collection of introspective poetry. I loved Courtney's writing, and the words and the messages were beautiful. If you are a fan of poetry like Rupi Kaur, you need to give this one a try. I loved how the other had prose alongside the poetry and verse. I would absolutely be reading this again, and will probably buy a physical copy because the illustrations throughout are so adorable. I loved An Ode to the Butterfly Story.

Time Will Tell is a wonderful collection of poetry with a total of six sections/chapters that each gave you as the reader a clue as to what type of poetry one would find within. Each section felt different from the next, yet very similar as you read through these poems. I know from reading them that the main element to these poems was growth, going from being one thing to evolving and transforming into something else. But at the same time, looking back and reflecting on what you’ve gone through and how that transformed you into what you’ve become.

That’s what I enjoy about reading poetry like what was in Time Will Tell: there is always a root theme/element to the poems that gives you perception you might’ve not been expecting. For me, I wasn’t expecting to find so many poems that I could relate to like I did here. It made reading this collection much more enjoyable for me, because I felt like I could relate to what I was reading. And it allowed me as a reader to reflect on my own experiences, while simultaneously understanding that they’ve helped shape me into the person I am today.

What I also enjoyed about Time Will Tell is the illustrations sprinkled through the book. I feel like they added another layer to this book and made this an even more pleasant reading experience for me. I also enjoyed the poems themselves because I felt like they spoke to me and were easy for me to read and understand the overall message of this collection. Seeing the transformation from cocoon to butterfly was wonderful since it perfectly matched the overall theme of these poems.

Overall, I enjoyed reading Time Will Tell. It’s a beautiful collection of poetry that I would recommend anyone to read. The only thing about this collection I didn’t like was that it was too short of a read, but I feel like that’s because I enjoyed what I was reading so much. I wish there were more poems to read as I really enjoyed what I did read here.

I received a digital copy of this book through the publisher on NetGalley for an honest review.

The cover really drew me in to wanting to read this book of poetry. I’m really happy I did! They are moving and get you thinking. Life isn’t always sunshine and roses and I love how it dives into those feelings.

I always enjoy Courtney Peppernell’s books. They always seems to have something I needed to hear. This was written so well and I could absolutely relate to the feeling of loss.

Poetry that just touches your heart yet still is digestible by all audiences.
From the time, I picked this up
I kept turning pages
My tea went cold
My day went on
Yet I still kept reading
Turning every page
Understanding every text
Till I felt it all
A poetry collection
That got my heart fluttering
As if it had been put into the book
That was how good this book was

This is my favourite Courtney Peppernell yet. So beautiful. I especially loved the whimsical magical realism elements.

I can never judge poetry because it's based on someone's experiences that I have not lived, but I related to a lot of what Peppernell was saying. The poetry throughout was stunning and the imagery of the little plant gets me every time.

Once again, another banger by Peppernell. Every page was a piece of art. I resonated with a lot of the poems and spent a later night with a cup of tea and this beautiful writing

Really touching poetry! Read Pillow Thoughts a long time ago and loved it, but this is even better! It helps you to gain a new perspective, for me it was for losing someone. Some of the poems hit close to home and really got me in my feelings. I will recommend this poetry book to everyone close going through their healing process.

Thank you for letting me read this arc!!

I’m not usually a poetry reader but this was beautiful. Occasionally I like to send poems to people who matter to me. I sent a few. I definitely had favorites.

What an enchanting little poem book. This book reads really well and the authors writing style was enjoyable. I really fond of this particular poetry book because it was still meaningful and at the same time keep me engaged. Some of it is in the readers perspective so for me, that really helped to relate. The other parts were in 3rd person and that helped with being able to see the bigger picture and realizing it’s important to be kind to yourself and things will always get better. Also, I really appreciated the pictures in the book, it really sparked my inner child and made my feelings towards the book even more magical!

I think the best way to describe Courtney Peppernell’s writing is cozy. It feels like sitting by a fire, drinking tea, and reading a fairytale. That fairytale feeling is especially prominent in this collection. The illustrations remind me of books I read as a child, and Peppernell’s metaphors are straightforward and familiar without feeling overused. While this style is not my preferred poetry style, I think this collection is a great introduction into the world of poetry, especially for those who consider the genre to be intimidating and inaccessible. A quick and heartwarming read.
