Reading this books title, I was expecting someone yo walk into the cowboys life saying they were pregnant. This was different, it starts out with him as a single dad of twins struggling and hires a nanny to help.
This was a cute story. They slowly fall for each other and she is accepted into the family fairly quickly, aside from the uptight sister.. a lot of the issues could have been solved if they just had proper conversations with each other, but that was the only infuriating part of the story that bothered me.
Enjoyed both view points. Sweet, slow burning romance and sometimes you have to change your ways to find happiness.
This is another good book from Leslie North. The two main characters are Amira and Dean. Amira has recently been hired by Dean to show him the ropes of raising twins. She is contracted for two months. There is an instant attraction when they meet. They each have issues but together they work through them to fall in love.
Dean was grappling with the unanticipated responsibility of being a father to three-month-old twins, but he didn't foresee developing feelings for the nanny who came to help, nor did he expect how much she would alter his life. Amira had set boundaries for herself, including not forming close bonds with the families she worked for and never staying longer than two months. However, the instant she saw Dean and started interacting with him and his family, she realized she was headed for a complicated situation.
This book explores themes of loss, the struggle to cope with it, and the journey to survive in the absence of cherished ones. Fundamentally, Amira and Dean are both in pursuit of similar things – acceptance, a sense of belonging, and the warmth of a family. As they steer through their trials, they eventually comprehend that their joint path is the key to realizing their ultimate joy, inclusive of their 'happily ever after.'
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with this book.
I really enjoyed this book! I am a sucker for a good cowboy romance and Leslie North never disappoints! A quick & easy read with the perfect plot! I couldn’t put this book down.
Dean Walters is trying to deal with the ranch his sister and now twins that he is the father of but the mother does not want anything to do with them or him. He hires a nanny and when she arrives she first is wondering why they are living in a cabin and not the big house second she has to get right to work since one of the twins is having a meltdown. Amira Davis the nanny just stays for two months and it is just long enough to get the family she is with working as a family, she then leaves. She finds herself extending her time and helping Dean more and more. Dean has other issues inside of him that he needs to work on in order to make everything work, this turns out to be a good book.
When Nanny Amira shows up at deans log cabin she is just in time three month old Kaitlyn is throwing a fit and Dean cannot get words out of his mouth fast enough but after introducing herself her Dean quickly learn instead of picking the nanny who would stay in definitely he picked a transitional Manning Amira usually only stays two months while helping the power is used to having a new baby in the house and once they are moving on Dean need someone to stay much longer. He had a one night stand and recently found out he was the father of twins and the mother wanted nothing to do with the babies it seems as soon as Amira moved in though the log cabin is cramp she seems to fit right in and although Dean noticed it as well Amira is still thinking of leaving before the two day probationary period is up can Dean convince her to stay if not definitely but forever in the Lomira finally have a place to call home I thought this was going to be your average throwing a baby in the nanny and they’re going to fall in love but I think this book is way more than that in Leslie North is a real way of keeping you interested. The Cowboys Twins is a book I highly recommend it’s not about the end thing because we know they end up together so it must be about the journey and what a great journey it was. I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.
This was really cute. I enjoyed the characters, I thought they were relatable and I found myself not wanting to put this down. My only small complaint is that I feel like this could have been a tad bit shorter, but ultimately that's a non-issue. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for more from this author, the writing was engaging and fun and I'm pretty sure I'll do a reread of this at some point.
I love a good cowboy romance. This one really hit for me! It was a quick and easy read that I will 100% recommend to others.
I absolutely loved it and would totally recommend it to all of my friends. In my opinion nothing is better than a cowboy romance but I might just be a little biased because that’s how my two aunts found there husbands and I’m might just be a little jealous of the main characters but it’s ok
Overall a 5/5
I would love to work with you again
A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This book was just okay for me. Amira was pretty wishy washy, and it drove me sort of crazy. Dean needs to learn to communicate. The parts with the twins was fun. 3 stars
This is such a sweet, quick read story about family, love, and finding your place in it all.
Caitlyn answers an ad for a nanny. Dean has just found out he is the father to twins, and has no idea how to cope with fatherhood, work, and all his emotions. Caitlyn agrees to stay and help for two months, but sometimes our hearts get in the way of what we thought we wanted. Lots of fun moments, emotional thoughts, and happily ever afters. Truly an enjoyable read.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I wish that I had signed up for some kind of Nanny boot camp. Two months would have made a difference. Amira is a genius with children and the people who are raising them. Even though Dean is way over his head he has a level head on him. I enjoyed reading this book very much.
This is a Cowboy Romance. I had a love hate relationship with this book, and I really just wanted the characters in this book to just sit down and talk to each other. I really loved parts of this book, but there were also parts of this book I did not like. The ending I found was just ok. Overall, I think this book was just ok. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher or author (Leslie North) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
