Enjoyed this as it allowed me to add books to my TBR list for the Fall and Winter of 2023/2024. There were some that I thought I would like and I didn't and vice versa.

If you, like me, enjoy getting a heads up in to the up and coming titles ahead, the Buzz Books issue is a great way to get your sampling of what lies ahead.

In this issue in particular, reading excerpts of the upcoming works, by authors such as Naomi Alderwood, added to my list of books for the year ahead from the library/Libby app searches to the bookmarks for preorders.

Can't wait for the next issue!

I am always trying to decide if I should read Buzz books. Why? Because I end up with a longer list of books to be read. I decided to take the plunge and now my list is longer! In this terrific volume, there is fiction and literary fiction. Debuts — first fiction is always amazing. They also have commercial fiction meaning the biggest well known authors such as James Patterson and Lee Child. In the nonfiction titles includ biographies and memoirs as usual. Social issues, politics, essays, criticism and more, current events, crime, history, business, science and technology are also included in the nonfiction section. Thanks to this edition, I will be adding some books in those nonfiction areas that I don’t read without a recommendation or something to look at. It helps me be aware of titles that I might not ever realize existed. You can’t help but find something to read!

I don't like how you do this. You get those snobs that have different books but they all have a theme. You seem to tie it together really well fiction and non fiction and children's books. Some of these writers are amazing. And I like how you explain after you read it and before you read it. So you're getting like a gist of what's really going on. Especially the varieties of different races. This is good they'll be exposed and I think we'll just get better. As the time goes on. I think people really read short things like this. And this really goes back to when reader Digest used to give out books once a month just short little things. This reminds me of that when I was a little girl. Also I have to read the book. You can either request to read more of it, which is really good, because then you can decide if you want to rate it or don't want to read it. This gives people opportunity to explore different avenues of writing.

I love these publishings that give a taste of a bunch of upcoming books. It always exposes me to books I hadn't heard of and also lets me see the writing style of a book I did have on my radar.
