Thank you to NetGalley, and Buzz Books for the privilege of reading this digital Fall/Winter publishing preview.
A great way to sneak peek a bunch of upcoming new releases and be able to preview them and then request. Love these guides!
This is an excellent resource and I’m so excited about several of the buzz books coming this fall, especially Lauren Groff and Etaf Rum’s new books. Thank your for providing these snippets!
This is a helpful resource! Scanning the excerpts from upcoming books helps me tailor my NetGalley requests to choices that best fit my reading. Thanks for providing it!
I love getting these. Book Buzz is a collection of titles to look for and excerpts. There were a lot of authors I hadn't heard of before! As much as I love summer reading... bring on the Fall.
Always informative fall catalog of new books. In the know full of concise descriptions by publishers lunch.
I always get too many ideas to add to my TBR pile.
There were so many good options in this preview of upcoming books. Organized by genre, with a section specifically for debut authors, which was great. I requested quite a few from NetGalley, so my tbr just keeps getting bigger. Every book includes a short description along with an excerpt, which definitely helps to decide whether you want to read it or not.
Wonderful way to preview an ARC. These short intro to new books paved the way for me to choose novels by author or sublect, and definitely by writing, that I am more likely to read and review.
Long time reader, first time reviewer. What I really enjoyed about Buzz Book 2023 was the opportunity to experience so many books prior to publishing. For my purpose as a member of a Literary Society, to be able to study the author to ascertain if they are the right fit for our audience was so helpful. What a perfect tool to guide me on how I should spend my hours reading. I highly recommend Buzz Books and can’t wait to enjoy some of the titles I found within this book.
I always look forward to these Buzz Books issues, they help me find books coming out I want to share with my audience, and allow me a chance to sample some so I can get a sense of which ones I want to request and read ahead of time. This was no exception and was full of so many exciting fall and winter book releases.
Thank you for this peek into future books. I’ve started a list of books I’m looking forward to reading.
I love these samplers! It's so great to be able to preview titles for the next few months! I can't wait to read a few of these!
Appreciating the quick synopsis of upcoming books launching this year. Thank you for your assistance. As a store owner, this has helped me get an understanding of upcoming titles. I will be sure to order several books from this catalogue. Thank you for making it available on Netgalley
Thank you to Net Galley for providing a copy of Buzz Books 2023 Fall/Winter
I have come to rely strongly on Buzz Books and still refer to the spring/summer issue.
Particularly valuable are the excerpts from authors such as Venita Blackburn's Dead in Long Beach, California, Elizabeth Crook's The Madstone and Lisa Gornick's Ana Turns. I followed up immediately with the excerpt from Lauren Grofe's The Vaster Wilds after hearing her in discussion during the US Book Show. I take all kinds of notes on these excerpts so I am prepared when the books hit the bookstore.
The debut excerpts offered a variety of genres and have a global feel and timeless settings.
It should also be noted that the addition of publication dates of new books by known authors is very important as customers in the bookstore often ask when a favorite author's new book is available
I love Book Buzz! A “book” full of summaries/excerpts/links to some of the hottest upcoming releases.
This edition caused me to add several books to my TBR and request some arcs!
Top 2 standout books from this edition for me are Blood Sisters by Vanessa Lillie and The Night of the Storm by Nishita Parekh.
Excited for future Book Buzz editions, thanks NetGalley!
I love when these come out as it is such an awesome way to see which books I should be adding to my read list and be on the look out for from here in order to scoop up these new goodies quickly! I love having excerpts available for the ones I am interested in before I decide whether or not they are for me.
This was such a great way to read more about what's coming out in the next few months. I enjoyed the excerpts and requested two books but was denied so I added them to my TBR! Thanks so much for providing this.
Love these quick samples to get me interested in new debuts and other books coming out that I did not have on my radar.
Always love to see what publishers are excited about. Helps inform my selection decisions at my library.
A great summary of upcoming Fall and Winter releases. I have identified and if fact already downloaded several of the ARCs mentioned. Thank you for putting this compendium together. I look forward to the next Book Buzz for 2024.
I had some difficulty with some overlapping and cut-off text, but perhaps that was because I was viewing it on my iPad.
