The Le Mans enduro race will be a hundred and this book celebrates that achievement. The author takes you through year by year and gives you a quick overview and anything that had changed from the previous year. He will take you through the race and how maybe one or two cars will be out in front then something will happen to them could be simple as an accident then another car and driver will win. If you pay close attention you can see how the cars had changed from brakes and other advancements which lead to manufacturers putting those changes in their cars to sell to the public. Mercedes, and Rolls Royce for example. I found the early part of racing interesting. He goes into the war and then the start-up and the companies that won multiple times in a row he also goes into the Ken Miles when a Ford executive wanted all three of the cars to cross the finish line together and then Miles not being declared the winner, he would later be killed in a test drive. He would have won all three of the 24-hour races that year wonder if that had anything to do with Shelby not wanting to work with Ford anymore. Back to the book good photos and much information but not so much that you are overwhelmed. An excellent book.

2023 marks the 100-year anniversary of the first ever 24 Hours of Le Mans held in 1923 and over the years it has only grown becoming the most well-known endurance race we know today. This book illustrates the history of the race through photographs, the race results, and a narrative about what happened in the races over the years.
This is overall a great book for any motorsport lover.
