For the Audio: 4.5/5 - Really pleasant narration! I’ve listened to both CJ Bloom and Joe Arden before and have no major complaints. Great energy and an enjoyable aural experience. My small hang up is just with the accents chosen for the characters and an occasional tendency for that to get dragged from the dialogue into the narrative. A little strange to my ears but absolutely not a dealbreaker!

The story is so sweet and fun read from the get go! Honestly it’s easy to see a mass appeal to this book. It’s got superhero references, Dolly Parton love, cute service dogs, and a heroine with a chronic condition and a side of awkward. There’s a lot in here that’s hard relatable.

Definitely an easy listening, feel-good experience. So fun, oh so fun. (And a little dirty, that too 😉) I really enjoyed, even if it got a little predictable here and there!

**SWOON** This was my first read by Max Monroe and will not be my last. I absolutely LOVED this book. Brooke was such a fun female character, and I just adored and could really relate to her. I instantly fell in love with Chase and wanted them to *get it on*. The sexual tension was so amazing and the lead up was *chef's kiss*.

Accidental Attachment by Max Monroe was a hot, hilarious, and heartfelt secret crush-to-lovers workplace romance that hooked me right from the start and left my heart so deliciously happy that I couldn’t wipe this silly grin off my face! Brooke and Chase’s journey to HEA is full of steamy sexual tension, laugh-out-loud moments, and dreamy red-carpet moments delivered with the Max Monroe wit and charm that we have all come to love!

CJ Bloom and Joe Arden narrate this audiobook, and both were audio perfection bringing Brooke and Chase to life. CJ embodied Brooke’s introverted, quirky, and passionate persona in a spot-on performance as she stepped into the spotlight and went after what she truly desired. (Yes. lady!) Joe made my heart melt as the charismatic, considerate, and dedicated Chase freaking Dawson! His delivery of those delectable spicy scenes definitely brought on a few blushes! Plus, both narrators will have you falling hard for the undeniable, steamy HOT chemistry between Chase and Brooke.

Overall, I LOVED this book! If you are a fan of a secret crush romance with a hot hunky ambitious editor, a devoted best-selling author, a trusty service dog named Benji, drunk emailing the wrong book to your editor, a three-week Netflix tour, close proximity, squirrel attacks, singing along with Dolly Parton, dedicated meddling sisters, date nights in Vegas, red carpet moments in LA, steamy times in a motor home, speaking your truth, and a HEA that will accidentally attach to a special place on your heart, then you will love Chase and Brooke’s romance! I always look forward to more from my favorite author duo, Max Monroe!

I listened to this audiobook, and absolutely loved it! It has been a while since I've found a romance book that would go on my all time favorites list, but this is one. The characters were realistic, lovable and quirky at times, the story was funny, and there wasn't too much drama. I haven't read a Max Monroe book before this one but I will definitely pick up another! The audiobook was a good quality, no complaints. I would recommend work on the cover art to make it more modern, I feel like this could be a lovable romcom that could be super popular on tiktok and other social media if the cover looked more similar to the others that are currently popular, because people do judge a book by it's cover.

Chase and Brooke. Brooke is a writer, on a deadline, and hates the book she is about to submit. In her free time, Brooke has been writing her fantasies down about her new editor, Chase. And her fantasies…are steamy. One night, after drinking too much, Brooke is set to submit her next book and accidentally sends Chase her fantasies book. She is shocked to learn which book he has and even more shocked when he loves it. The more time Brooke spends with Chase, her thoughts are on overdrive and she knows she has to come clean. The audiobook seemed to drag just a bit and didn’t love the woman speaking for the man, especially since there was a man speaker as well. But the story itself was very good and loved the theme. It was different than a lot of other reads. Loved the ending but then loved the extended epilogue as well. Now we wait until the next book.

This book was so much fun!
The characters were great and entertaining and there were so many funny moments.
The romance is slow moving but their interactions were adorable. And the steam is really great (even the fanfiction ones).
I'm glad I read this as an audio book. I think the narrator really captures the vibe of the characters and story.

I both read and listened to this book. This was definitely cheesy but cute. Plus who can't love a book with a character who has an obsession for Dolly Parton. I very much enjoyed the audio version. It made me laugh out loud a few times. Overall a good romcom!
