What in the world! I didn't expect a cliffhanger this huge. Oh my goodness I'm very impatient to read book 2 now. With that said. I loved Trent and Brianna's love stories. It was the thing that Fairy Tales are made from.

Brianna is loving her new job, which allows her to pay for her mom to be at the nursing home. After paying for that, she doesn’t have much left for herself, but she is making do. Things start to get better when she is offered a better job, at the company she is working, at as a temporary fill in. Brianna has heard what a ball buster Trent is, but is determined to make it work, since the pay is so much better. Trent is speechless when he meets Brianna and has an instant connection with her. Their relationship starts to develop when she is attacked one night on her way home. Trent is determined to protect her and make her his. This is an amazing story that leaves you hanging until the next book is released. I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

An interesting book with a good plot and good characters. I like a book with a fast but not too fast pace so this book worked for me. Their relationship worked so well and I could sense their connection even when they barely knew each other. Also the other half of the plot was one I enjoyed.

First time reading something from this author, and I it was a good short read, especially the romance between the two main characters Trent and Brianna.
The portrayal of the characters and the authors writing style I really liked. However during I felt like the last quarter was quite rushed, but will definitely be reading the next book though.
Highly recommend if you enjoy a short romance read.

I've read a few of this authors books and enjoyed them so was pleased to get the opportunity to read this.

Did I enjoy it - yes. I thought it was a good, short read where I liked the two main characters and the romance between them. Trent is the CEO of the family company and meets Brianna when she replaces his executive assistant. I liked the authors writing style and portrayal of the characters. I thought it was a nice, light and easy read up until the last quarter, where I thought the writing became very rushed and events happen quickly which lead to a very abrupt ending. Yes, this sets up the next book nicely, I'm just not sure I liked the way the book ended. I'll definitely want to read the next book, there are questions I want to know the answers to. Recommended if you like romances and short reads.
