Unfortunately needed to DNF. Couldn’t get into the characters and the story itself. Just wasn’t for me.
Thank you for an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review!

This book was pretty quick and sweet, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
I liked the overall storyline; however, the writing was just so hard to get into. It felt a little choppy and very predictable, which drew me out of the story. There was a bit of a mystery element to it which was a nice touch. I did guess who was stalking Autumn pretty quickly, but it still added a little bit more interest to the story.
I think the main thing I struggled with was the character’s connections with each other. They fell in love with each other pretty quickly, and I just wish we got more development.
There were some cute moments in this book! I could see this book working for someone that’s looking for a quick read. It just wasn’t for me.

The cute cover of this book drew me in, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to it. The characters were okay but a tad one-dimensional. This book seemed almost like an Insta-love romance, which is not what it is advertised as. Overall, this book was not perfectly fine; it was perfectly mid.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A cute grumpy/sunshine and enemies to lovers story that wasn't anything special. I love the title of this book though ☺️

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

If you're in the mood for a book that will make you laugh, cry, and nod your head in recognition at the real struggles of adulting, Ms. Perfectly Fine by Kate Callaghan is a must-read.
The heroine, who’s totally “fine” (no, really, she’s fine… or is she?), is such a relatable character that you might feel like you’re looking in a mirror. On the outside, she’s got her life together—she’s working hard, looking good, and somehow managing to juggle everything. But underneath it all, she’s just a normal woman trying to figure out her place in the world, dealing with the chaos of life, love, and the constant pressure of keeping up appearances.
Then there’s the romance. Oh, the romance. Callaghan does an incredible job creating that slow-burn tension that makes you want to scream “Just kiss already!” while also making you believe in the power of real connection. The chemistry is off the charts, and you’ll find yourself rooting for these two even when they’re being stubborn or refusing to admit they might actually be kind of perfect for each other.
The writing was fresh in a non cringey way and whitty. I do enjoy good banter and this book delivered!

Kate Callaghan’s *Ms. Perfectly Fine* delivers a compelling blend of romance and suspense, infused with healing and hope. With a strong grumpy (her) x sunshine (him) dynamic and plenty of slow-burning chemistry, this enemies-to-lovers tale tugs at the heartstrings while keeping readers on edge with its darker undertones.
Autumn Adler is a fascinating protagonist—a world-renowned concert pianist battling chronic pain after a devastating accident. Her intense focus on reclaiming her career makes her fiercely independent and closed off, but her vulnerability shines through in her quieter moments. Elijah Wells, on the other hand, is her perfect foil: an optimistic, determined game designer who refuses to be put off by Autumn’s icy demeanor. His patience and charm make him immediately likable, and his unwavering support as Autumn’s walls start to crack adds emotional depth to their relationship.
The forced proximity between Autumn and Elijah, brought about by their shared living situation, sets the stage for plenty of humorous and heartfelt exchanges. Their evolving dynamic—from mutual irritation to reluctant truce, and finally to undeniable attraction—is crafted with care, and Elijah’s "he falls first and harder" arc is especially swoon-worthy.
However, this isn’t just a romance. The suspense element, tied to a mysterious gift and Autumn’s looming showcase, adds an intriguing layer of tension. While this subplot is engaging, it occasionally feels underdeveloped, leaving questions unanswered and a sense that it could have been explored further.
Callaghan also handles themes of healing and resilience with sensitivity. Autumn’s struggles with chronic pain and the emotional toll of her accident are portrayed realistically, making her journey toward acceptance and vulnerability all the more satisfying. Elijah’s unwavering support emphasizes the importance of empathy and partnership, even when faced with personal challenges.
While the book delivers on its tropes and themes, it does stumble slightly in pacing, with some sections feeling rushed while others linger unnecessarily. Additionally, while the romantic tension between Autumn and Elijah is palpable, the transition from enemies to lovers could have used more buildup to fully capitalize on their emotional payoff.
*Ms. Perfectly Fine* is a heartfelt story perfect for fans of grumpy-sunshine dynamics, forced proximity, and emotional healing. With its mix of romance, humor, and suspense, it’s a satisfying read that will appeal to those who enjoy complex characters and love stories with a touch of intrigue.

This book has been on my Netgalley for a bit and I haven’t picked it up. I haven’t been into romance in a minute, so I’m not the right person to review it anymore.

Kate Callaghan’s Ms Perfectly Fine is a delightful exploration of love, ambition, and the messy middle ground where the two often collide. The protagonist, Clara, is both relatable and refreshingly imperfect, navigating the world of modern relationships and career pressures with humor and vulnerability. Callaghan’s prose is witty and engaging, drawing readers into Clara’s world with vivid descriptions and sharp dialogue.
What stands out is the authenticity of Clara's emotional journey; readers will find themselves nodding in recognition at her struggles to balance her desire for independence with the yearning for connection. The supporting characters are equally compelling, each adding depth and charm to the story. While the pacing occasionally slows, the heartfelt moments and laugh-out-loud humor more than compensate.
Overall, Ms Perfectly Fine is a heartwarming, feel-good read that’s perfect for fans of contemporary romance.

I really enjoyed this one. It was my first book by Kate and it really surprised me. The romance was so cute!

Thanks, Kate Callaghan, for the arc!
MS. PERFECTLY FINE by Kate Callaghan was another book I’m sad I sat on because I really enjoyed it, but tbh, I think I read at the perfect time for me when I was having a bad flare-up of my health. I needed to read a story of a girl similar to me struggling through life with her chronic condition and knowing she had people there for her and that it’s okay to let new ones in. Plus, this is just a cute romance with a surprising bit of suspense!
Autumn is written with an excellent chronic pain representation. I really related to her and understood her feelings and insecurities. I felt seen, and I liked that. I appreciated how Elijah was written. Sure, he was a jerk initially, but once he realized she had real issues, he did what he could to adapt and help her. 🥹 (If only the whole world were this way…)
The forced proximity was great. I laughed a lot and loved how they fell into a relationship. And I was super surprised about the suspense! I did not expect it to be that suspenseful, and I felt like I was reading a thriller at some points. It made the book a lot of fun between the romance, comedy, and suspense!
I think this is a fun book for anyone, but I hope whoever reads it gives grace to Autumn and remembers that there are real people like her out there (Hi! It’s me!). I hope that you enjoy this book like I did because it was a lot of fun!
Content warnings: stalking, gaslighting, death, grief, chronic illness, medical trauma, ableism

This was pretty cute.
I liked the classical musician x gamer aspect and the fact that Autumn had chronical pains (which isn't something you encounter very often in a romance novel), so kudos to the author for that! Forced proximity is also one of my favorite trope so I liked that about this.
Other than that, this is being marketed as a romantic suspense/thriller, but that missed the mark a bit for me. The focus was more on the romance and I just didn't feel very threatened by someone leaving roses? Also, the reveal of the culprit didn't make a lot of sense to me somehow. But overall, a pretty cute read.

This is a captivating read for fans of romance, mystery, and suspense, particularly those who enjoy stories about overcoming adversity, healing, and the blossoming of love in the face of adversity, with a dash of humor and wit.

"Ms Perfectly Fine" was my second Kate Callaghan book and I was really excited for it, after reading the premise.
One of my favorite tropes is the Grumpy x Sunshine trope and I got really intrigued when I saw that Autumn is the grumpy in this story.
It took me a while to get into the story and sadly I couldn't really get attached to Autumn or Elijah. I did like the way they were portrayed but something was missing for me. In some moments the story went to fast for me and it was overall a lot of the story. It could have been a bit shorter at some moments or she could have made this book into a two-book-series.
I liked most about the story that the topic of chronic pain was addressed and how it was handled.
Thank you to NetGalley and CallaghanWriter for this EARC!

DNF @ ~25%
I really wanted to give this book a good chance, but I couldn’t get attached to it or the characters. Maybe one day, I could give this book another shot and rewrite my review :)
Thank you, Netgalley, for the ARC!

This was a cute read! Glad I got to read this--looking forward to more from this author.
Thank you NetGalley and Kate Callaghan!

Miss Perfectly Fine by Kate Callaghan is a fun and relatable read about the pressures of trying to be perfect. The story follows Frances, who looks like she’s got everything figured out but is actually struggling with her insecurities and the weight of expectations.
Overall, I really liked it and enjoyed the read.

I’d give this book 3 stars—it was cute but didn’t quite live up to its potential. Autumn Adler’s story as a concert pianist making a comeback sounded intriguing, and I liked the premise of her being forced to share her house with game designer Elijah Wells. Still, the execution fell a little flat for me. The characters were likable but felt one-dimensional, and I didn’t get the depth I hoped for. The enemies-to-lovers romance was rushed, and the switch from arguing to flirting happened too quickly to feel believable. That said, the banter between Autumn and Elijah was fun and one of my favorite parts, but the overall pacing of the story felt off. The side plots had promise, but they needed more time to develop, and I think the book would have been more substantial if it had just focused on the romance. On the plus side, Brinkley, the standout character, brought a lot of charm! It was an enjoyable read, but nothing that stood out for me.
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC for an honest review.

i unfortunately just could not get into reading this book and it took me a while to finish. i found it quite overly descriptive and felt it could have been 2 books instead of 1. i did enjoy the romance between autumn and elijah though!

It wad good but it wasn’t great! I enjoyed the story and I liked the characters however it also feel kind of flat for me.
I expected a lot from reading the blurb so maybe it is partly ma fault for going in with high expectations but the characters and story sometimes didn’t feel developed enough.
But overall it was a fun read!
