This latest offering in this wonderful series is the story of Asa and Rory We have met Asda before a extremely strong witch descended from the first witch and that has placed her in danger She discovers man bleeding to death and all that he tells her is to run that she is danger but no way is Asa going to allow him to die after all he may be able to give her advise on who is chasing her What she doesn't expect is that it would be former friend and Viking leader and that he would not only bring an entire army but also a powerful witch Now Rory and her are on the run trying to find a place to make a stand and fighting the attraction between them. Be prepared for an epic battle and one shocker of an ending in this latest offering.

You can’t run anymore. Asa knows that she should have come home earlier but she was needed elsewhere. She just wants to find her sister Liss but before that can happen someone tries to tell her to run.
Asa won’t be running but she can’t leave the injured man. She needs to understand why he held on to warn her even though he was gravely hurt? Now that Asa knows what is at stake she can’t back down even if it means losing everything.
Will they be able stand against their common enemy and get the ending that they deserve?
A good solid read. Great characters and love the detailed descriptions of everything. Asa & Liss are fierce witches that will only do good unless they are pushed into defending themselves and the ones that they love.
Rory is a good man that only wants the best everyone even though his father doesn’t accept him he will still look free his family.
Thank you Netgalley & the publisher for the ARC copy. This is my voluntary review.

What do you get when to take one hot Scottish Warrior and a sexy Norwegian Witch? One very entertaining book! I really enjoyed this story. Had my interest from the very first page, Asa and Rory's chemistry jumped off the pages at you. Loved Abhain and Frida along with the other supporting characters. Definitely a page turner, definitely looking forward to the next installment.

This story grabbed me from the start. Asa has such strength and determination. Rory is her match in both. I loved their connection. The ending was perfect.

Ruin (Kindred: The Fated, #2) by Donna Grant
Donna knocked it out of the park again. This is Asa and Rory's story. Wonderful friends and long-lost sister. There is angst, an evil dark force threatens her because of her blood line, Rory has promised to aid her, some humor, tears, overcoming fear, willing to fight to the end and love and steam, getting them to a HEA. I am looking forward to the next book - REIGN.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read Tear-jerker Wonderful Characters Entertaining Steamy Witty Unpredictable Romantic Informative Action-packed Haunting Happily Ever After Scary Page-turner Great world building.
