Mountain Abduction Rescue by Darlene L. Turner is a wildly adventurous mystery that keeps you in suspense to the very end. I was sure I knew who the arsonist was and yet, I got it wrong. And the themes of family and forgiveness spoke to my heart. I was privileged to be a part of the launch team for this book. If you enjoy suspense, you will love this story!!

I loved this Christian romantic suspense. Second chances in life, little sister’s best friend, and firefighting. It was a great and suspenseful read. I didn’t want to put it down. Plenty of twists and turns along the winding path.

This book includes non-stop action that kept me on the edge of my seat, hoping that park warden Hazel Hoyt would find her young son alive and well and that the raging forest fire would be able to be contained. When an unknown suspect kidnaps Hazel’s son and a few other members of his scout troop, Hazel is forced to work with her former boyfriend, firefighter Michael Booth, but she is willing to do whatever it takes to save her eight year old son and his friends. With helicopter rescues, a firebug, a kidnapper and a theme of revenge, this book has everything it needs to keep my attention and make it a stunningly exciting novel. The book is a clean read, with faith interspersed throughout in the appropriate times and places. I enjoyed getting to know Michael and Hazel, both of whom were relatable and dynamic characters. Hazel’s dad Frank was also well-developed but not quite so likable since he was so controlling during most of the book. With red herrings and false trails, this book led me on a merry chase to figure out the villains before they were revealed. Lots to love about an adventure in the Canadian Rockies, a small child being courageous and a family working together to achieve a daring rescue!

Another unputdownable, cleverly plotted Crisis Rescue Team story packed with action and feelings! This story features an exciting, fast-paced quest through the unpredictable mountain wilderness complicated by forces of nature and man and prompting more than one perilous rescue. The search for the identity and motives of a serial arsonist bent on revenge takes many twists and kept me reading anticipatedly leading to a culprit I never suspected! I love the richly described national park setting. The characters are compelling and memorable. Valuable faith lessons and a second chance romance round out the story. I totally enjoyed this story and highly recommend it especially for fans of inspirational suspense.

The author was correct when she wrote that "readers will be captured by her plots, inspired by her strong characters and moved by her inspirational message"! The book is set in a national park in the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. Hazel is a park ranger, following in her still active father's demanding footsteps. Mitchell has risen in leadership and has excellent skills in fighting forest fires. Recently "Firebug" has been setting fires and other evil acts, such as kidnapping Hazel's young son. The two join their fellow workers to keep people and the property safe. There is one dangerous fire after another, and soon "Firebug" is set on killing certain people, like Hazel. Be prepared for an exciting time reading and watching faith be renewed!
I appreciate the publishers allowing me to read this book. My thoughts are my own.

Loved loved this! A fantastic adventure! Lots of fast paced action and more twists and turns than will meet the eye!
Finished this a bit ago and oh was it good! Finger nail biting and sit on the edge of your seat too! All rolled into one!
I found myself praying for a fictional character because I have a mother's heart too.
Mitchell is perfect example for not trusting God even though some of his reasons would make sense to us humans. I'm guilty of that too. It's hard to trust. But when we do it makes it all worthwhile.
This is a book that will make you fall in love with the people and leave you thinking about them long after this story is over.
My favorite thing about this book was the setting. Turner described it so perfectly that I felt like I was there! Just wow!
National and state parks are favorites of mine. I love the outdoors because you never know what you might see.
I don't really want to say much more but in a way the river ride was my favorite scene even though it was a rescue effort. I could just " visualize " them riding the rapids and hearing the roar from both that and the storm.
God was there for all of it. He never left them. I loved their courage to do what was right.
I want to add a quote
Hazel's mom's advice to her daughter;
“Inside, I’m terrified, but I’ve learned throughout the storms in life that God
doesn’t give us more than we can handle. He’s right there with us in the thunder. We just need to look to the horizon.”
5 stars for a job well done! I highly recommend!

This is a Clean Romantic Suspense, and this is the third book in the Crisis Rescue Team series. This book took me on a wild ride, and I was living for it. This book had me guessing, but it still took me by surprise when the reveal of who was behind all the stuff that was happening in this book. I loved all the action and suspense in this book, and the characters were really developed. The romance in this book was just feelings between the two main characters, but I did think the two main characters had a connection from the beginning. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Love Inspired Suspense) or author (Darlene L Turner) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is scheduled to be released on August 22-2023.
