I love Cody Rigsby, and he brings his authentic self to his Peloton classes as well as to his book! This was a cute collection of stories about Cody's life and his perspective on different things. I wish it was a little deeper honestly, but I did really love learning more about where he came from, his relationship with his mom, and his experience coming out.

Thank you for allowing me to read this book. I enjoyed the characters and their arcs, and found the plot interesting. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book really just took me for a ride, pun entirely intended. I loved getting to know more about Cody especially because I grew up about an hour away from where he did. This was such a fun read.

I love taking Cody’s Peloton classes, so I was excited to read his book. While our lifestyles and certain beliefs are very different, I loved getting to know his backstory and him on a deeper level. It was funny and heartfelt.

How can anyone not love Cody Rigsby? As I was reading I could hear the book in his voice. He's one of my favorite instructors for Peloton, and he brought the same energy to this book as he does to his rides. I felt like I was having a chat with a friend, even when things got serious.

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

Ahhhhh I love Cody so much!

Where was this book 15 years ago when I needed it? If I had someone like Cody cheering me on in my single days wow that would have been fun!

Overall I loved this book. It wasn’t as relevant to me because I’m happily married but I loved learning more about Cody.

Peloton fans know what they are getting into with this novel. Cody delivers. He recounts his upbringing in his own sassy way. Love this journey for him. It was a fun read, like hanging out with a friend.

I think you have to be a Cody fan to love this book, don't get me wrong, it was entertaining but you have to "Get" Cody and the cult of Peloton to really appreciate him. That being said, I enjoyed it and it was interesting to learn about "young" Cody and how he got to his Peloton persona! His family and mom history was very worthwhile learning, you keep doing you Cody! 3.5 Stars which is a good review for me! I would recommend anything over 3*

Thank you to the publisher for a free Netgalley.

I love Cody and his rides. He's funny and makes long rides go by fast. I wound up doing the audio of this one, as that is my preference for memoirs. Cody's book was like taking one of his rides-- funny, honest, and entertaining.

I found myself laughing out loud multiple times and his story was interesting. The relationship with his mom and her mental struggles were interesting as mental health issues affected my dad while he was alive and my sister still today. Really appreciated reading how he dealt with situations that occurred.

Overall, highly enjoyable!

I am a little late to posting my review but thank you to Random House Publishing Group & Ballantine Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I love Cody both on and off the bike. I think he is hilarious and always does or says something that makes me smile. His book was no different. He brings the same sense of humor to his memoir, and I expected nothing less. While remaining lighthearted, he does dive into some deep topics about his upbringing when discussing his mother’s addiction and mental health. He provided a lot of wisdom and advice when experiencing difficult relationships. He talks about coming to terms with his sexuality and his rise to fame. He also talks about body image and body positivity. I really appreciated his perspective and to not take yourself too seriously. Which he certainly lives up to when you take his classes. I’ve been enjoying learning more about the instructors as people and off the bike.

I have been a fan of Cody Rigsby since my first Peloton ride in 2017. This book was not at all what I expected, and was such a refreshing read from a tell-it-like-it-is author. The author did a fantastic job striking a balance between serious, contemplative and quippy - much like his personality outside of the pages. This is one of the best autobiographies I have read this year.

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this book. As a fitness celebrity, Cody's story has a pretty limited reach. Those who are Peloton users and enthusiasts will love knowing more about his story and truly come to appreciate how amazing a human being Cody really is. You can hear his voice coming through on every page. I loved how honest he was about his past and his family, and honestly, Cody is actually good at giving advice!! If you're a Pelo-fan, you'll love this book!

Listening to this book was like taking a 6-hour Peloton ride with Cody and I mean that in the best way. He tells the story of his life and offers advice with his trademark humor and heart, and I love that he's not shy about admitting that he's capitalizing on his 15 minutes while he can. There's no one I'd rather shake my tits and fuck shit up with than Mr. Rigsby!

Thanks to Ballantine for the copy to review.

I was beyond excited to get approval for this book, as Cody Rigsby has been one of my favorite Peloton instructors for years. His energy and upbeat attitude in class is hard to beat. I only knew the things he talks about in class, so I was excited to learn more about him. The book does an incredible job of amplifying his voice. HIs storytelling is impeccable. His honesty when telling his stories is so refreshing. Even if he doesn’t paint himself in the best light, he tells the truth and doesn’t sugarcoat situations he found himself in while growing up. I also really loved the bits of advice he threw in along the way, almost like his very own “Dear Abby” columns. The whole book felt like sitting next to your friend with a good drink, and spilling the hottest tea between each other. This is easily a book I’ll read over and over again. My only complaint for this book is that I wish it was longer! I really hope he writes another book soon and tells us more about his life.

Cody is one of my favorite instructors so I was thrilled to get to read this. His humor and sass come through phenomenally in this but he still goes quite deep, opening up about his complicated relationship with his mother in a way that is really respectful to her.

Cody is perfectly himself in this honest memoir about his life and coming into himself. After riding with him on Peloton, I appreciate how his narration was totally him. His jokes and references were perfect. I completely understood his purpose in providing a book about self-love and how he came to understand that about himself. His tips about how to be a more reflective person, especially when it comes to building relationships, was helpful when I was listening. There were a few parts that lagged, but overall the pace was witty and very much Cody XOXO.

While I know Cody Rigsby as almost the face of Peleton, I truly did not know much more about him going into this. The book would definitely be enjoyable for a fan of Rigsby and his humor, but may not give someone who does not know him the same level of enjoyment.

I am a proud card carrying member of the Cody Rigsby fan club and this book made me love him even more. It was just a fun, sassy, and cute look at his life that imparted some serious wisdom along the way. I found his voice to come through very strong and appreciate the lessons that he gave. It was interesting to hear his back story and loved how he overcame challenges in his life while still acknowledging his privilege. I loved it, and I think most readers will as well.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.
