Christmas at the Chateau 🎄
This was a super cute romance that was very centered around Christmas and helping her friend remake her chateau while tentatively exploring the past connection she has with her best friend’s brother! Honestly the most disappointing part of this book for me was that there was no spice given that there was so much of an inner monologue from the main character focusing on that she had sex with the MMC in college, and then he disappeared the next morning but this certainly will appeal to a lot of readers! Moreso, it was not advertised as a spicy novel so this disappointment is on me. The romance was a slow burn which I adore and I absolutely loved the jealousy from the MMC!

When I saw the word "Chateau" I was hooked. It made me feel warm and cozy.
I felt bad for Noami Winters, her husband filed for divorce, she has no live and no hobbies.
Her best friend Mia invited her to spend Christmas with her at a Chateau in the Swiss Alps to try and get her to move on. When Noami arrives at the Chateau see sees Mia's brother Gabriel. She hasn't seen him in years.
But Noami decides to try and get into the holiday spirit by joining in the holiday festivities but everywhere she goes theres Gabriel.
Will Gabriel help her forget her problems and move on with her life or will she be disappointed again?
Christmas at the Chateau is a sweet and wholesome holiday romance that gives you all the feels, and has you dreaming that you are there.
This was such a great holiday Rom-Com that made you feel all cozy and warm inside. I could feel the snow and the magic of christmas while reading this. Great Holiday Romance.

An emotional and enjoyable Christmas read. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me review this book.
Naomi dislikes Christmas since what happened last year, but when her friends needs her she heads out to the Chateau to help. Will spending time there give her back her love of Christmas? A great setting.
I really am enjoying all the Christmas themed reads lately and this one so charming and heart-warming. I love Naomi's scrouge-ness and the fact that she decides to stop being alone and joins her friend Mia for Christmas in the Swiss Alps.
Will Naomi get back to her old self, will there be romance? This is such a lovely read, loving the descriptions of the Alps and all the festive fun and activities. This book warmed me up and made me smile. It is cute, warm, fuzzy, happy. It is Christmas inside and out. I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it.
Thank you NetGalley and Avon Books UK for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
Christmas at the Chateau is a wholesome holiday romance. Perfect for fans of Anita Hughes and Jenny Colgan.

Lawyer Naomi Winters is at a turning point in her life – her husband Ollie filed for divorce twelve months ago, she hates her job and now she’s due to spend the festive season on her own.
When her best friend Mia suggests that Naomi spends Christmas at the Chateau in the Swiss Alps, she decides that now is the time for a change, and agrees. When she arrives in Switzerland, she’s surprised to bump into Mia’s big brother Gabriel who she hasn’t seen for years.
I loved this book and raced through the story, it had gorgeous descriptions of the Swiss countryside during the festive season and left me feeling all warm and fuzzy!
I love a good Christmas book as December approaches! This one did drag on a bit though. Naomi is visiting her best friend and crosses paths with someone who has left a mark on her from many years ago…. Her best friends brother.
This was a lovely setting, I could see it in my minds eye… I want to go there!!! However the story fell a bit flat for me.
A tingling Christmas spirit descends as you read this heart warming story. A mixture of characters dance across the pages each with their own agendas . Some to love , others to hate and some just needing a little nudge to get them on the right path to happiness and fulfilment. There are moments to make you laugh and those to make you cry.
Thoroughly enjoyable
This book contains everything you want for the perfect Christmas, what more could you ask for. 5 stars
Thanks to Netgalley, author and publisher for this ARC
A gorgeous light and frothy confection of a Christmas feel good read, with all the festive trimmings: snow filled days; Christmas markets; handsome man who can cook; sparkling lights on trees; heartwarming chats around a crackling fire and family fun & games. What more could you want?
Who wouldn't want to be in a Swiss Château for Christmas? I'd be there with 'bells on' & more so if it would include a bit of romance!
Naomi is going through a divorce & is invited to stay for Christmas with her friend, Mia, at a beautiful Château that she is preparing for opening as a hotel. Pure luxury for Naomi to relax until Mia's brother appears,
Enjoy this curl up & read book, it will make you feel good.
Oh this was so beautiful.
An absolutely stunning book perfect to add to your Christmas holiday reading list.
The writing was exceptional as the author captured the scenes beautifully. The descriptions of the Swiss Alps effortlessly entered my imagination creating a wonderful image of the perfect getaway for Naomi.
The characters were relevant so it was easy to relate to their individual journeys. I loved the bond Naomi and Mia have, it's certainly a friendship that will last forever. Naomi has definitely had a rough time recently and she wasn't looking for romance.. until she bumped into a certain someone from the past. I was really invested in their story as a couple and I'm thrilled they both eventually got their happy ending.
Although the story is based a lot around friendship, family and other relationships, it also includes a lot of personal growth and self reflection which was refreshing to read.
This heartwarming festive read is a must have for your tbr and despite reading it in October I'm now already feeling in the mood for cozy winter nights and the Christmas season that is fast approaching.
A huge thankyou to Annabel French, Avon Books and of course Netgalley for allowing me a copy in exchange for my honest review.
I just love these seasonal books and this one didn't disappoint with its heart-warming storyline. I found it hard to put down. Great characters and I love a book that makes you imagine just where the places are.
My thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books for the read
Naomi is still grieving the end of her marriage and cannot face the festive season, especially alone. Mia hopes the Swiss Chateau project will prove her worth to her father. She invites Naomi to spend the festive holiday with her, and both unexpectedly benefit from her generosity. I enjoyed the ski resort setting, which is escapist and vibrant, and the gentle second chance romance. It's a charming and cosy festive tale.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.
A tense, romantic story about balancing lifestyles and making
decisions. An uplifting and emotional read in
a beautiful, snowy, Christmas
wonderland . I enjoyed reading this book so much.
