The Pumpkin Spice Cafe was the perfect book to read while I was craving fall but stuck in the dog days of summer. The cozy vibes and sweet romance (that for spicier than I was expecting!) was super fun and light, and just what I needed.

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for this digital ARC.

The Pumpkin Spice Café is a sweet rom-com set in the small New England town of Dream Harbor. Peopled with interesting and likeable characters, this is the sort of place where everybody seems to care about each other and knows each other’s business. Jeanie Ellis used to visit her Aunt Dot at the Pumpkin Spice Café while she was growing up but in recent years, she’s become thoroughly sucked into her work as an administrative assistant.
After being gifted the café by her aunt, she returns to town as a bit of a nervous wreck, jumping at strange noises in the dark and struggling to relax. Enter hunky vegetable farmer Logan Anders and it’s lust at first sight for both of them. I loved watching Jeanie settle into the town while her feelings for Logan were growing. I loved that she managed to pull him out of the obvious funk he was in when he first set foot on the page. These two were really cute together. With some mystery vandalism happening at the café. there was a secondary plot to keep the pages turning whenever Logan and Jeanie weren’t trying to tear up the sheets. This has been a fun read.

Thank you net galley and Laurie Gilmore for sending me an ARC in exchange for a review!

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe was such a cute little read to start off the fall season! As a barista myself, it got me super excited to whip up some fall drinks for my regulars! Jeanie was totally relatable, and I loved getting to see her find herself in this new town! I will say that this book did seem to jump into the love story a little quickly for me, and it felt a little bit too much like insta-love for me. If that's your thing then you will 100% love this book!

If you’re in need of some pumpkin spice and small-town romance this season definitely give this one a shot!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

This is a cozy mystery perfect for Gilmore Girls and grumpyxsunshine trope. The book follows Jeanie who was gifted a Pumpkin Spice Café by her aunt and is the perfect gift for someone seeking a new start. Her perfect plan to mind her own and start afresh is interrupted when she meets Logan who just wants to mind her own. It's a perfect summer read that will melt your icy heart . I loved the plot, the setting, the characters and the angst , Recommend!

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is a quirky romantic mystery that follows the would be romance of Jeanne who inherited her aunts cafe and local farmer Logan with abandonment issues. While trying to solve the mystery of who's sabotaging the cafe they fight the sparks between them tooth and nail until finally love wins out.

The Pumpkin Spice cafe is a cute small town story about Jeanie, a career girl from Boston who starts a new life as the cafe owner in the small town of dream harbour, and Logan, the brooding local farmer. I enjoyed the book overall, especially the mystery part. I feel as though the reader gets to know the characters and the town well, but a lot of the book was character and world building rather than plot. Hopefully this means more books in the series. I’d definitely recommend this book for fans of the Gilmore Girls!

I enjoyed reading this American story. Loved how Jeanie and Logan get to know each other, and the will they won’t they romance story.
The book features a cafe, a book club, community spirit and new beginnings. A relaxing read, best served with a hot drink. #thepumpkinspicecafe

I LOVED this book. It has everything what a good romcom needs. She's sunshine and he's grumpy, I love that trope. I like that Logan, the main character, at the end of the book deicides to confront his problems by doing therapy, WHAT A MAN. Jeanie is a good example that it's never late to change your life, to go and seek what's better for you, even if you are afraid to fail or to not fit. This is a light book, perfect for relaxing and having fun.

ps, I find so funny the names of the animals in the farm.

I loved this book! Thank you to Net Galley and the author for the arc. This book is cozy, and perfect. It is basically an autumn Hallmark story. It is opposites attract. Logan is my new book boyfriend. Jeanie is very easy to get attached to which I love. My only complaint is that I wish there was more of the café aspect shown, for example I wish Jeanie's first day running the café had been in the book. If you like romance with a little bit of mystery, then this book is definitely for you. It feels like a hug and a warm cup of coffee. I wish the weather matched how this book made me feel. I want to go to a pumpkin patch now. I highly recommend this book.

I held out as long as I could, but the cozy autumn vibes have sucked me in. (To be fair, it's always autumn in my mind.)

The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore is a cozy mystery lover's dream. Especially if you're like me and need more romance in your books. Jeanie has been given the Café by her aunt and left to figure things out. Between a whole new way of life, mysterious disturbances plaguing her nights(and some days), and a pumpkin weilding farmer, Jeanie's got her hands full. Logan, the local farmer and recluse, has no intention of getting close to anyone again. Definitely not another out-of-towner. But when he gets roped in to helping Jeanie with her spooky problem, the flannel flies, and shenanigans ensue.

This book was a delight from start to finish. I had a few moments of "ahhhh no! Don't do that! Don't say that!" But when you have characters with some flaws and fears, stupid things will happen. On the whole, though, this story was everything I needed. Quaint, New England, small-town vibes with an immaculate fall feeling. You almost feel like you're sitting in a cozy Café, spices in the air, leaves falling outside. Very sweet romance with some surprising spice! 🥵 (Logan may not like to talk, but his mouth works just fine.) And oh boy, the hilarious town hall with gossip and shenanigans reminiscent of a Gilmore Girls episode.
☕️
I highly recommend this story if you're in the mood for:
◇Cozy mystery romance
◇Grumpy/sunshine
◇Small town romance
◇A troublemaking cat named Casper.
◇A rambunctious book club that loves to talk smut over coffee, especially MM hockey smut.
◇ What it would be like if Luke and Lorelei got together sooner.

All the thanks to NetGalley and the author for this ARC opportunity. I can't wait to see what's next for the Dreamers.

This was such a super cute read to get you in the mood for a cozy autumn!

Think Hallmark Christmas Movie but make it Autumnal!

Small Town Romance at it's best, all of the characters had such vibrant personalities that just had me wanting to visit Dream Harbor and have my pumpkin spiced latte with the book club.

Logan and Jeanie were really sweet and adorable with their awkwardness. Jeanie did touch my heart a little when she felt like she had to tone it down because she would be considered too much. As someone who has been told this many times, never let anyone dim your light, blind them with your shine.

Laurie has set up the second book perfectly and I dare say there will be a book 3 too.

For me, don't come at me ladies, the spice didn't quite fit with the aesthetic of the book. It caught me off guard because the book was so sweet and lovely and then bam, here's the spice, and not just talking about the pumpkin kind. I think on this rare occasion I would have preferred some closed door sweetness.

I am excited to see where this series goes!

It is the perfect heartwarming read with unexpected mystery and spice. I liked Jeanie and Logan. She is looking for a better and more meaningful life. He wants someone to love but fears being humiliated and hurt, so he has a grumpy vibe. Circumstances and the entire town conspire to draw the couple together with exciting and ultimately happy results. An engaging mix of sweetness and spice. It's an immersive read that is hard to put down. I like the small town setting, the romance and the characters in this story.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

This is an adorable cozy mystery. It reminded me of a Hallmark movie, easy/quick read with fun stereotypical characters but a feel good read. The couple was cute but a bit instalovely for me. Logan's grumpiness made the book

This was such a cute cozy autumn-please-get-here read. I loved all the autumnal vibes throughout, and the romance was sweet and fun.

I really enjoyed it. Read if you like autumn vibes, cozy romances and Stars Hollow.

My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is a small town cozy romance by Laurie Gilmore.Jeanie is new to Dream Harbor and taking over the Pumpkin Spice Cafe after her Aunt Dot leaves it to her and goes off to travel the world. It’s just the change that Jeanie needs after finding the boss of her high-level stress job dead in his office one morning. But Logan wants to stay as far away from Jeanie, and the town, which is hard to do when you grew up there and everyone knows you. After Jeanie almost takes Logan out when she catches him delivering produce to the cafe they seem to be thrown together every chance the town gets. This book definitely has a very Hallmark feel. The characters were fun and they both have had some trauma in their life that they have had to overcome. I am also a big fan of a happily ever after. Overall this was a very cute book that is perfect for a light fall vibes read!

This was definitely a fun read. Loved the title of the book! I really enjoyed the characters and it was fun to see them be aware of their feelings for the other but not say anything or do anything about it. The pacing was good and the overall plot was fun. I loved the small town everyone knows everything vibes. For a fall inspired book title, I would’ve expected more fall / Halloween vibes but it didn’t really come across much in the book. Overall, definitely would recommend the book to others.

This book was such a warm, cozy read. The Pumpkin Spice Café had me ready for fall- if you enjoyed Gilmore Girls, this definitely has the vibes of Stars Hollow.

It's a sickly sweet romantic mystery with a happily ever after. Be warned there is spice and it's steamy. For me, it felt out of place just because the rest of the book was so wholesome.

I enjoyed the dual POVs, the small town setting and just the overall fall feeling.

I would recommend to anyone looking for an easy romance for their fall TBR.

A comfortable read that just screams fall with every chapter you read. It definitely reads as an episode of Gilmore Girls, which only adds to the ambience!

I loved the characters, the writing and the romance (although the smut didn't always feel natural in the story? Like it was a bit forced...) regardless, the book made me all kinds of excited for fall!
