This book was just okay for me. It felt like it jumped right into the love connection between Jeanie and Logan. I didn’t feel much of a connection between the two until later on in the book. In my opinion, the love connection was a little cringy. As for fall vibes I didn’t get much of that from the book other than a small section of the book where they are attending a fall festival. Not the worst book I’ve read but not a stand out either.
This was an enjoyable cosy romance. Small town, grumpy x sunshine and lots of pumpkin spice lattes. I really enjoyed the character arcs and the relationship between Jeanie and Logan, there’s also the cute cat called Casper.
A nice read, specially if you’re into love at first sight. I’m not, and that’s why it didn’t get many stars from me. The mistery part wasn’t really a mistery (I figured it out right from the start).
This was such a cute read - exactly what I was hoping for when I picked up this book. It is a fun, cozy fall read that I finished in a couple of hours. A bit silly at times, but it made me laugh out loud so I can’t complain. It was a little light on the mystery but the romance was super cute. Overall, it was very enjoyable to read and I am looking forward to hopefully read future books with the romances for the other characters!
This book was a cute little read. Great if you don`t want to think too much while reading. It`s reather short with it`s 200 pages, so it mainly focuses on the porotagonists. The story doesn`t go too far into the lifes of the side characters, which I personally don`t find that bad once in a while. Even though, they were quite loveable and I would have love to get to know them better. I`m a sucker for all kind of fall related setting, so this one got me good.
Jeanie is surprised to inherit The Pumpkin Spice Cafe from her aunt who is alive and well. Normally she would have said no to something like this but she is looking for a fresh start and this is her chance, in a small quaint town. Logan is the towns local farmer who actively avoids the rumor mill but he can’t stop thinking about the new coffee shop owner. They couldn’t be more opposite, she’s up beat and all sunshine and he’s cloudy and grumpy. But opposites do attract…
The Pumpkin Cafe is warm and cozy and the perfect sunshine meets grumpy read for fall! I am a sucker for this trope and the fact that it’s set in a small town during the fall was an immediate win for me. Truly atmospheric and all characters were written well. I enjoyed it very much and now I’m craving pumpkin lattes and crisp autumn weather. I recommend this read if you’re looking for a warm hug, crisp autumn air, and a light hearted read! This is one you’ll want a physical copy of! Thank you NetGalley, One More Chapter, & HarperCollins UK for this eARC.

Three stars is a little generous for this lackluster romance that follows the main character, Jeanie, through inheriting a cafe in a small town. She meets Logan, the burly and shy farmer, and immediate sparks fly.
Personally, their attraction and Logan’s need to make Jeanie happy was too instantaneous. The plot was very basic: Jeanie gets cafe, wants to fit in with small town, unweave the mystery of who is messing with the cafe (there was no real mystery there), falls in love with quiet farmer.
I felt this plot really needed a stronger drive to keep the story going - a bigger climax was deeply necessary.
There were some enjoyable bits however this book was definitely not for me.
Jeanie's aunt gifts her a popular cafe in a small town. She is happy for a new start, far away from her city life and boring job.
Logan works on a family farm and tries to avoid the town if he can. He lived with his grandparents since he was little and the townspeople look out for him, very closely. :)
A cute grump/sunshine romance, full of small-town vibes with a little dash of mystery and a whole lot of cute moments.
Jeanie, moves to the small, idyllic town of Dream Harbor to take over her aunts cafe, where she meets and falls for Logan, the local produce farmer.
I finished this in a couple of hours, it's a quick, cheesy, super cute, fall-filled read, that just oozes cosy vibes. Perfect for a rainy autumn day when you need a little pick-me-up.
I'm a sucker for the grumpy x sunshine trope so I loved the romance between Jeanie and Logan. It's sweet, and yes it develops quickly but it didn't feel rushed. Logan is a sweetheart.
Also, the town gives me serious Gilmore Girls vibes, where everyone knows everyone, and everyone is in each others business, but they've all got each others back. It also kind of reminds me of my home village which is practically the same just without a super cute cafe and hot farmer guys.
Overall - 4⭐️
This is a beautiful small town romance. It's a nice easy read and gets you in the mood for the Pumpkin Spice season.
A beautiful, talkative, friendly, and strong Jeanie moves in a small town to run a fall vibe cafe and soon finds herself falling for the local grumpy farmer. You watch how Jeanie discovers who she is and builds her new life. Making friendships and love interests on the way.
I really enjoyed this book with its Gilmore girls, autumn vibe. I would of loved to have more from Hazel and Annie, Noah, Logan’s grandparents and the book club these characters are lovable and make you laugh out loud as we see them less towards the end of the book. The spice was good, but even without it, it wouldn’t have taken away from the book. I wasn’t ready to stop experiencing the small town and the growing relationships happening within. This isn’t a book I would have normal pick up by reading, but the cover drew me in, and I’m so glad it did as I’ve really loved this experience.
This book was a super cute and fast read! Set in the small town of Dream Harbour, it brought back all the fall vibes I've been missing now that it's the middle of the summer. This book was the equivalent of watching a good cheesy Hallmark movie, and it managed to do it in a way that wasn't overwhelming.
I honestly loved all the characters in the book (well almost all). First we have our heroine Jeanie who moves to a small town to start over after coming to an abrupt realization she does not like the way her life is going. She was both cheerful and a little morbid at times, and it made her all the more real. Then we have small town farmer Logan who's had a lot of not so good things happen in his past, and just wants to avoid being in the town's (well intentioned) gossip once again. He is grumpy, but is genuinely a good guy! This book is marketed as grumpy x sunshine, but it manages to give the characters way more dimension then just that. Aside from them, the townspeople and their families all had charming personalities and made the town of Dream Harbor what it is!
I would recommend this book to anyone going through fall withdrawal, and wants a cute read to get their fix! I can't wait to see if the author writes books for some of the other potential couples we got to meet.
this was super cute! it served hallmark vibes and we all know those are my absolute favorites so to read that in book format was adorable. perfect for cozy, fireplace and fall time vibes with a cup of hot coca. and the spice was not too shabby if i do say so myself
This is a really cosy romance, perfect for autumn and winter.
The town of Dream Harbour is so well described, you will want to go there!!
Jeanie is adorable and just wants to do the best thing for the cafe, despite the spooky noises and random occurrences, she isn't dissuaded and Logan is the classic grumpy hero, who comes around.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a small town romance, the scenery, characters and storyline are excellent!
This book is a cute and cozy one with a little bit of spice, which is one of the best combinations ever. The main leads are adorable, the outgoing and fun female lead and the calm and grumpy male lead… made for each other. The story was also fast paced and was under three hundred pages which is always a plus as well. Overall, an enjoyable little treat.
As a lover of fall and small town romance, The Pumpkin Spice Cafe was the perfect kind of romance for me. I had a great time meeting Jeanie and Logan, and following them along from beginning to end. The spice was perfect and the autumn season setting was so fun. Definitely a great read for anyone who loves a cute romance and some Gilmore Girls-style vibes. I will definitely be picking up a physical copy come release day and giving it a reread in the September or October once the leaves have yellowed in my own small town.

Love this book and it was my first cozy mystery. I plan on reading more in the future
Jeanie gets her aunt's cafe and after moving into the apartment above the cafe, and mysterious things happen such as missing items, unexplained noises, etc. I love all the characters and their personalities.
I really liked it! Thank you so much, NetGalley for the arc!
Your topically small town romance, with a sexy farmer and fall vibes!
It was very funny and I couldn’t put it down, I think I read it in less than 48h!!
I immediately connect with Jeannie so that help a lot as well, I would have like more character development but I think it’s not that kind of book..
The Dual POV added much more interest to the story, I always appreciate when that’s the case.
Another thing I really liked was that it was not over complicated, and the characters talked and listened to each other! Bonus point for that, sometimes there is so much miscommunication in theses kinds of books it gets exhausting!
Looking forward for more books from her!

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe was a fun cosy enjoyable read, perfect to put you in the mood for small town fall romances.
Such a cute book! I loved reading about their love story! Jeanie is trying to find herself in this small town while native local farmer Logan is scared of being left again. While he may have abandonment issues he can't seem to stay away from Jeanie. This is a very sweet and cute story about two lovers who thought they could keep things down low but that's impossible with a small town like theirs. I love the little book club as well! Such a great story!
Perfect for someone who loves a slow burn, grumpy x sunshine, and a small town romance.
Every time I start a new romance novel, I remember again how much suspension of disbelief is required to step into these situations where people, even the grumpy ones, immediately start catching feelings. This one jumps right in with "clueless girl from the big city meets grumpy town loner with a heart of gold" but once you get past that, this story quickly feels cute and cozy.
The reference to a women in her forties looking "great for her age" felt a little ridiculous, and not necessary to the narrative at all.
The romance, as it develops, is light-hearted and easy to fall into, which makes this a quick and fun read. The will-they-won't-they stretches out a little longer than I'd have liked, but it wraps up with a satisfyingly sweet ending.
At the bottom of page 135, it says "...the beginning. She wasn't..." but it should say "...the beginning, she wasn't..."
