This is such a cute grumpy x sunshine romance and the perfect book to kick off my fall reading. Jeanie was an absolute sweetheart who was just trying to start anew with her new cafe. Logan was such a cinnamon roll, crusty grump on the outside and soft gooey sweetness on the inside. They also had some good chemistry
I think it's funny that the author has Gilmore in her name because Dream Harbour was definitely giving Stars Hollow vibes. I would even go as far as to say that the romance did remind me of Luke and Lorelai with some abandonment issues, and townsfolk meddling.
100% will definitely recommend to be added to any fall TBR

A small town romance set in a little town that’s giving all the ‘Gilmore Girl Star’s Hollow’ vibes 🍂
Jeanie has just moved out of the city to take over her retired aunt’s cafe. Just as she’s settling in, she encounters the local farmer, and overtime it’s obvious they were meant to be together
This book is perfect for getting in the mood for Autumn, it’s a cute, cozy story. All of the characters are instantly likeable and funny in their own ways. My only thing is that it would’ve been nice to have seen more of the background characters, especially the book club! But overall it’s a fun, light read

This was literally the sweetest romantic cozy mystery ever!
The characters and the small town enchanted me, I cannot wait for book two to get to know more about Hazel and Noah.
The Pumpkin Spice Café follows Jeanie who moves to Dream Harbor for a fresh start. I absolutely loved seeing her find herself in this new life. She made some amazing friendships and of course met a grumpy farmer Logan too!
I loved every single character in this small town, I feel like I’m one of them now I can imagine myself in the café and being part of the Dream Harbor Book Club reading spicy romance novels! This was such a perfect fall read.
I highly recommend it to anyone!

jeanie & logan
for those who love: small town romance, found family, and grumpy x sunshine
think of a hallmark christmas movie but make it fall! the fall vibes were perfect for the season and this is a quick cute romance. there is a subplot of mystery but it feels scattered at times. many things happen in the book but some topics brought up feel unanswered. overall, it is perfect for the fall!

The pumpkin spice cafe is a cozy heart warming Romcom that’s a must for any Gilmore girls fans. I picked this up just as the weather was getting cooler and it’s best read with a hot drink and cozy sweater. A true he falls first dreamy romance that will have you wanting more I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
When her aunt can no longe r look after the pumpkin spice cafe Jeanie steps in to take over the business. She’s over worked and overtired and not sure what she wanted from life the cafe is a perfect new start when she stumbles across the local grumpy heartthrob…
For fans of small town romances , Gilmore girls and grumpy sunshine this one was so fun!!

I really liked this book! I gave it 4- stars. It's a really cosy small town romance, with great characters and funny scenes

This was a perfect small town grumpy/sunshine romance. Loved the quirky town and its characters and would definitely like to find out more about them

Having not read any books by this author I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed this fun cosy read. Set in a small town coffee cafe this is a book about life and life changes, about making a new start and even a little romance.
But there is enough interest and great characters to make this a fun, enjoyable, interesting and entertaining read. It is cute, cosy and heartwarming to say the least and was so easy to read. I loved it for exactly what it was, a feel good, makes you smile read.
Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Jeanie has just moved from a big city to a small town to run her aunt’s coffee café but she’s having trouble settling in and something or someone doesn’t seem to want her there. This was a fun, cute read with all the fall feels. A little bit of romance mixed with a mystery. The storyline was pretty predictable; a typical lifetime movie with some sex scenes. I love the idea of Dream Harbor, the small town with close neighbors. It reminded me a lot of Stars Hallow in Gilmore Girls.

I recently had the pleasure of stepping into the charming world crafted by Laurie Gilmore in her delightful novel, "The Pumpkin Spice Café," and it was like taking a sip of warm apple cider on a crisp autumn day. From the moment I cracked open the book, I was transported to a place where pumpkin spice, friendship, and new beginnings reign supreme.
This heartwarming story revolves around the life of Sarah, a city girl who unexpectedly finds herself in the quaint town of Maplewood. The Pumpkin Spice Café, a cozy little coffee shop at the heart of the community, becomes her refuge as she navigates the challenges of starting anew. Gilmore's writing captures the essence of this idyllic town, making it a character in its own right. The picturesque descriptions of Maplewood in the fall season were so vivid that I could almost smell the cinnamon and feel the leaves crunching beneath my feet.
What truly sets this novel apart is its cast of endearing characters. Sarah is relatable and resilient, making her an instantly likable protagonist. The quirky residents of Maplewood, from the eccentric café owner to the lovable regulars, add layers of charm to the story. Their interactions and the bonds they form tug at your heartstrings and remind you of the importance of community and connection.
Gilmore weaves a story that is rich with themes of self-discovery, second chances, and the healing power of simple pleasures. The Pumpkin Spice Café serves as a backdrop for the characters' personal growth and transformation. It's a reminder that sometimes, life's greatest joys can be found in the small, everyday moments.
The pacing of the book is perfect for a cozy autumn read. It unfolds gently, allowing you to savor the evolving relationships and the evolving seasons. The plot is heartwarming and predictable in the best way, providing a comforting and soothing reading experience.
As I turned the pages, I found myself craving pumpkin spice lattes and warm apple pies, thanks to Gilmore's evocative descriptions of the café's delectable offerings. It's a testament to her ability to create an atmosphere so inviting that you'll wish you could actually step into the café and join in on the cozy conversations.
In conclusion, "The Pumpkin Spice Café" by Laurie Gilmore is a heartwarming, feel-good novel that captures the magic of autumn and the power of community. It's a story that warms your heart and leaves you with a sense of contentment. If you're looking for a book to curl up with on a cool fall evening, this one is the perfect choice. It's a reminder that in the midst of life's challenges, there's always a place for pumpkin spice and a warm, welcoming café to call home.

This was a cute small town romance and I liked the autumn vibes. The author name reminded me of Gilmore Girls and I am obsessed with that show.

This book is cozy, cute, and small town. It was everything I needed right now!
It’s a perfect book to read during the fall, whilst sitting in a Starbucks and sipping a pumpkin spice.
There is a lack of communication, which can be a bit of a turn off to some, but i ate it up and left no crumbs. 😅

Oh my goodness I absolutely loved this book! It’s been so long since a romance has captured my attention and I was hooked by the 3rd page I fell in love with all the characters and didn’t find them even remotely irritating while they went through their growth journey!

When Jeanie inherits the Pumpkin Spice Café in Dream Harbour, she embraces the opportunity for a fresh start, away from her mundane desk job. However, her arrival disrupts Logan's peaceful routine, and he initially resists her infectious positivity.
As their paths collide, Logan finds himself inexplicably drawn to Jeanie, despite his best efforts to avoid her. Can Jeanie's sunny disposition melt Logan's grumpy exterior and win over his heart, or if he's the one person in town who won't succumb to her charm or her pumpkin spice lattes.
A delightful romance, perfect for cozying up with a pumpkin spice latte on an autumn day.

I hope the author is using a pen name because it’s just all SO cozy! This was a typical Hallmark-movie-esque read, you knew exactly what was going to happen but it was a really comforting read and one that I enjoyed. Really gets you in the mood for Autumn & the colder months 😍

The book was very cozy and warm, and I really enjoyed the autumn atmosphere. I would recommend it for a light read, especially in the fall. The romance was not convincing for me, but the characters were cute.

The cutest book to read for the start of fall 🍂✨ when a life changing incident happens, Jeanie’s aunt gifts her her little cafe. It was the breath of fresh air that Jeanie needed 🍂✨while Jeanie is adjusting to the small town life, she encounters the handsome local farmer Logan who delivers to her every week ♥️ both not wanting to get distracted or start something new they try to fight off the feelings. Until a little stake out and they both can’t keep their minds off each other ♥️
This was such a cute and light hearted read! Definitely recommend ✨

Such a fun read to kick off Fall! The characters are endearing and this tops the list for cozy reads that will have you swooning!
