There is something so comforting about a Rich Amooi rom-com. You always know you’re going to have great characters, a solid story, and plenty of laughs. In You Chive Me Crazy we have Lucas, a well known food critic, and Zoe a woman attempting to launch a food truck empire, but only if things go well at the upcoming food truck festival. They have a history, they were both thrown out of culinary school and Zoe blames Lucas. While headed for the festival Lucas comes across a food truck that’s been in an accident…and wouldn’t you know it, it belongs to Zoe. As much as she doesn’t want it, Lucas takes charge, insisting she get medically checkout...thus setting off a series events that starts with her pretending to be Lucas’s wife. Amooi is so good at writing fun & clean rom-coms. This book is a ton of fun and honestly you can’t go wrong with any of Rich’s books. Thanks so much to Xpresso Book Tours and NetGalley for the chance to read and ARC of You Chive Me Crazy.

This book was so much fun! My first by this author and I’ll definitely be reading more! The characters were great, all really well done, I especially loved Alexa! I really enjoyed the storyline, even though you know what the ending will be it’s still an interesting and quirky journey to get there! I’m really in the mood for a jacket spud now!

This was a cute and funny rom com starring Lucas, one of America’s top food critics, and Zoe, owner/operator of Potato Heaven food truck.

I found myself rooting for this couple through all of their food truck festival related challenges and laughing out loud several times. The side characters were great and added a lot of humor and some heartwarming moments to the story. Alexa’s interjections and mentions of Damien’s breath especially took me out 😂.

Includes: second chance romance, grumpy/sunshine, one bed trope, and a LOT of potato-based nicknames

Thank you for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!!

Enemies to lovers. Forced proximity. One bed trope. Add in a quirky cast of secondary characters and a food truck festival, and you’ve got a fun romcom!

This is the second book I’ve read by Rich Amooi and highly recommend them.

Thanks to NetGalley for this book in exchange for my honest review. You Chive Me Crazy is out now!!!

Lucas and Zoe are meeting after many years. They used to be good friends on the verge of something more but then they were kicked out of culinary school.
You chive me crazy is a very cute and fun read. This book had me laughing out loud. It is a book that kept tempting me to read one more chapter before sleeping and I was laughing so hard on Spinderella that my whole family woke up.
A wonderful book with some great bunch of characters that I loved reading.

I really liked this book! The pacing of the novel didn’t feel too fast or slow. I really enjoyed the plot of food reviewing/food truck. Zoe and Lucas’s relationship was really sweet to watch turn into them falling in love.

I did think the piano playing at the end of the book was a random things to add in.

What a hoot! A fun and quick read, that is perfect for a summer read. Zoe has a food truck, selling gourmet baked potatoes. Lucas is a food critic. They have a history, and currently now a future. Enjoyed the banter, the romance that slowly builds and the characters around them. Highly recommend this one.

I’m torn on this one. I liked the premise. I liked the setup. But I just couldn’t get into the story. It seemed sarcastic and exaggerated, I couldn’t get into the characters. I wish I was more excited by it though.

You Chive Me Crazy (Kindle Edition) by Rich Amooi
This is a cute and funny second chance romance between Lucas: America’s top food critic, and Zoe: Food truck operator. They have not seen each other for ten years -since they both were kicked out of Culinary School. Wonderful friends old and a lot of new one, some mean actors, lots of laughs, tears, and a wonderful love reconnection that gets us to a very HEA. Good job Rich I loved it.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Informative Great world building Entertaining Wonderful characters Funny Happily Ever After Easy-to-read Page-turner Unpredictable Romantic.

A great fun read. Enemies to lovers. Lucas ruined Zoe's chance for being a chef years ago, will be be able to make it out her now? Some great side characters too!
