I enjoyed trying most of the recipes. It was easy and fun especially with kids helping l. Definitely would recommend for parents for quick and easy meals.
Good recipes! During the Arizona summer months, I use my crockpot several times a week, there were a couple of recipes that I enjoyed.
There are a lot of delicious, simple recipes in this book. Definitely easy to follow and will save me time on those days I don't feel like cooking.
Very informative and interesting book. I highly write recommend it. Very educational. Very enjoyable
There are some delicious recipes in this book. I look forward to trying all of them as soon as possible for my family.
I have been needing all the help I can get now that I am a mom of a toddler. This made my meal planning so much easier and gave me more time to spend with my toddler.

The perfect gift to pair with a crock pot of any size for a new graduate or couple. Great recipes with a large variety and side dish ideas included!
Some great new recipes that were easy to make. Love coming home at the end of the day to dinner being ready. This cookbook gave many options with some new ideas!
I received a copy of this on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Crock Pot Essentials is a great addition to any recipe collection. I found several recipes I can't wait to try, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I love using my crock pot and this book has given me great dinner ideas that take the pressure off of dinner time.
Crock Pot Essentials is filled with amazing recipes to utilize the best invention in your kitchen; the crock pot! Who doesn’t love a good, set it and forget it, meal?! Crock Pot Essentials had a good variety of recipes, but it did start off heavy on soups and stews, however ended with some really delicious sounding desserts to try!
This had a lot of good, easy recipes to follow. Can’t wait to try them out with my family. Thank you to the publisher and author for a copy.
This might be my favorite crockpot cookbook to date. The recipes are simple and quick (to put together it’s a crockpot so it’s still long cooking) And ALL the recipes have pictures!
Thank you for allowing me to read this advanced readers copy of this book! I can't wait to make some of these mouthwatering recipes!
As someone who is busy and struggles to prepare easy meals at the end of the day, I rely on my crock-pot A LOT and I'm always looking for new recipes. This book has great options for new crock-potters and seasoned users. Now that fall is coming and the weather is getting cooler, I'm ready to dive in and try some recipes from this book.
This is a decent variety of recipes and most seem to favor simple and easy to obtain ingredients. However, there's nothing here to make this book stand out against other crock port books. Photos are kind of flat compared to other cookbooks I've read
Overall, this would be a good book for someone just starting out. Students, newlyweds, etc.
Thanks to NetGalley and Fox Chapel Publishing for granting me access to this Advance Reader Copy.
This book has some great, traditional dishes. For someone like me that has spent years collecting crockpot cookbooks and saving hundreds of pins on Pinterest, I didn’t find anything groundbreaking here. Foundational recipes that everyone should have? Yes! New twists? Not really. A great and organized collection though should you need one!
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for allowing me to read and review this Crockpot recipe guide. These are great recipes for weeknight meals for a busy family. I enjoyed the variety of recipes and new ideas for dinner.
The book is really quite organised. It has sections for different recipes. It even has one for “meals for two”, which I thought was quite neat. The first section of the book is the section for soups and stews, which I think is a good choice. The slow cooker is perfect for these kinds of recipes! Also, in-between the main recipes there are recipes called “Delicious Due”, that contains recipes with side dishes or similar that goes well with the main dish.
There are a few recipes that are marked “vegetarian”, but I found at least one recipe that was marked incorrectly: It was a chicken soup recipe. I think this must have been a glitch, though, and I hope that this is corrected in the final version of the book. There was also supposed to be an index at the end of the book, but that seems not to have been included in this ARC.
I found quite a few recipes I think can be easily veganised, or that inspire me to make something vegan that similar. This book worked well, even for me who have never used a slow cooker before in my life.
Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to view this book. I found this book very useful, my family enjoyed the recipes I tried. It was nice to be able to make something they enjoyed since we're a busy family.
