What a fantastic finale to this fabulous series!
I got the closure I needed: coziness level high, my heart is all soft and mushy.
Just like a perfect puzzle, all the pieces sit in the right place as our heroines are at work trying to find out how Wendell the ghost died. While dealing with these otherwordly business, we also witness their teenage struggles of finding their place in the world and among friends, learning different personality traits and how to handle relationships.
I cannot even imagine how charming these books would be to middle-graders while I as an adult enjoyed them this much. So happy to have discovered this!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. I think the illustrations are well done and the plot has the ability to connect with any reader, not just YA/middle grade readers.

This series has given me all of the feels. All of the characters have such sweet and emotional stories.

Lights concludes the Brenna Thummler series in the sweetest way. This was the best book in my opinion. Readers will learn more about Wendell through flashbacks of his life. Marjorie and Eliza work together to investigate exactly how Wendell died. This is a great series about friendship, death, and overcoming obstacles.

The sheet ghost adventures continue! This ending was so sweet and satisfying. In the third and final installment of the Sheets trilogy, Wendell will finally uncover the truth of his human life.

This book concludes the Sheets trilogy and it was a more slow paced book then the last 2. It focused on Wendell and his story which was lovely but I'm not giving a higher score to the last book because unfortunately the young adolescent angst made me cringe a slight bit. I'm aware that the books are more focused for people in that age frame but the last two were a lot easier to read then this one.

Overall it was a really nice and and lovely conclusion to the trilogy and I can't wait to read more from the author!

I have really enjoyed this set of three comics, and am sad this is the last in the series. This, like Sheets and Delicates, is about the ups and downs as teenagers find their feet in the world of relationships and about a ghost finally discovering his past was not quite as he remembered. You can read them individually, but they really work best read in order. Interestingly the comics get longer each time, which gives time for the story and character personalities to develop. I'm surprised with how much I've been enjoying this series considering it's aimed at a younger audience.
I'm so happy that the writer finally decided to show us Wendell's story and how he died, was waiting for this backstory.
I liked seeing Marjorie's and Eliza's relationship develop even though Eliza got on my nerves sometimes, it reflects a real teenage relationship and you could see the insecurity Eliza felt. I liked the addition of the other girls to show a different side of Marjorie, more like a traditional teenage girl who doesn't have the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Also enjoyed how the 'villain' of the story was multifaceted.

This was the perfect ending to the series. We all wanted to know more about Wendell and that’s what we get in this third and last volume of sheets. The story was heartwarming and the illustrations beautiful. I love the sense of humour in the dialogue and also the depth of the characters’ arc. This will be a series I return to over and over.

I loved Sheets and Delicates. Lights brings a lot of the same energy as the first two books in the trilogy, but not in a tired, repetitive way. It's like welcoming back an old friend or coming home. This story explores friendship when it comes to a complicated crossroads and redemption. I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down until it was finished.

I really liked the first two Sheets books a lot so I was very excited for the third and final instalment. I liked how the characters kinda recapped the other two books in conversation, cause it has been a while since I read the other two. It was very easy to read this one even though I don’t remember the other ones that well.
I liked exploring Wendells story - and it broke my heart a bit.
The characters are flawed and still learning how to navigate life, cause being a teenager isn’t easy, especially if one of your best friends is a ghost.

It felt like a good ending to the series, one that I enjoyed a lot overall.

Charming, yet emotional tale of friendship and loss during a very crucial part of growing up. While I did start on the 3rd book of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed this story about friendship, ghost hunting and loss at a middle school level. This book of the series, I think, is like an finale of the series where their adventure with the ghost Wendall ends and the mystery of his death is uncovered. While the dynamic trio search for answers, Marjorie and Eliza struggle with picking sides in their friendship that works best for them. I really like how the author made the story talk about the struggle for younger kids to keep or make friends during this time of their life where they have to make more decisions that shape their lives. In this age group, it is a very important time where emotional development and decision making is very crucial because it can outline and shape someone's personality for the future.
Besides seeing the characters make up and be friends in the end, I liked how Wendall got to find out about his past leading to his death. I was anxious about learning what happened to him, but at the same time, I was scared about how it happened because of how young he was. It was really sad finding out how he died and all the other ghosts moving on, but overall it was needed for character development. I will admit, I did shed a tear or two when I found out that Wendall and the other ghosts in Marj's landromat were leaving. She was already sad enough finding out about his death, but I'm surprised she was mature enough to handle the news better than I thought she would. Overall, this was a really sweet story to keep the attention of its intended readers (and soft hearted adults) and I would highly recommend it for anyone to read about, especially if you love ghosts and mystery.

I loved sheets and this book was not a disappointment, it certainly lived up to its predecessor, beautifully illustrated and it really captivates you as a reader.

If you're looking for a paranormal middle-grade graphic novel series about quirky kids growing up and their paranormal angsty antics, then this series is perfect and will hit all the sweet spots! Especially this last one, which is slightly more emotional than the previous two and I absolutely LOVED the storytelling. Such a fun series and I highly recommend for your spooky time *wink wink*

Honored to be choosen to recieve an an advanced copy, This book is an absolute 10/10! I loved the graphics, especially the color change when it was a flashback! It is very well written and expresses mental health and having to choose between friends. The suspense with not knowing how Wendell passed away throughout the book was super intense.

Lights is the third and final volume of the Sheets trilogy. My favorite of the trilogy! It was a nice finish to the trilogy. This volume really deepens the themes of friendship, grief, and healing.

I actually had some vivid 90s flashbacks and Wendell is my favorite character in the series, so I was immediately excited that this volume focuses on his story.

What I really loved about this graphic novel was its depth. We rarely see serious topics discussed in graphic novels or at least to this degree, and they're handled so well and respectfully. We got to explore depression, premature death, grief, throughout the series and I think this was a beautiful end to the trilogy.

I've also come to appreciate Thummler's art style more.
One of my favourite elements of Sheets that I thought amplified all of the different emotions and tones of the story was the use of colours. It has the most beautiful autumn vibes, and the snowy scenes were unreal. I love all the art, but the full size pages where there are no text and just images are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen in a graphic novel.

Having to say goodbye to all the characters was hard and I definitely didn't want the series to end.

This was a great way to wrap up and resolve the series. I was glad to see more of Wendell in this part of the story and to find out more about his backstory. I feel everything was brought together nicely and gave me such a warm feeling

I thought this was a great conclusion to the Sheets trilogy. Marjorie, Eliza, and Wendell the ghost are back to help solve the mystery of how Wendell died. I like how we are getting more about Wendell. How Marjorie and Eliza are working out being friends and how Marjorie wants to be friends with the other girls as well. I like how this story ended.

Such a beautiful ending to a coming of age story. Absolutely love the concepts of friendship, being true to yourself, and little bit of mystery.
