This is one of my favorite graphic novel series. I'm sad that it is coming to an end but happy for Wendell to have closure.

This third and final installment has all of the feels! Marjorie, Eliza and Wendell are figuring out what really happened to Wendell when he died. As small flashes of memory are coming back to him, Wendell wants to rediscover his past. With high school on the horizon, Marjorie and Eliza are figuring out their friendship dynamic but things start to shake when two friends of the past who were mean to Eliza want to be friends again.

This book deals with growing up, friendship, death and being ready to move forward. I really enjoyed the book and feel like it is a well done conclusion to the series. The artwork is spectacular and the drawing of Wendell is adorable as always. It is hard to say goodbye but all good things come to an end. I cannot wait to see what is next in store for Brenna Thummler!

I have loved every book of this series and the third book didn’t disappoint. I loved the story and how it unfolds in the end. I also LOVE the colors and art in this book.

Thank you, NetGalley and the author/publisher for an eARC of this book! All opinions are my own.

i didn't know that it is the 3rd of a trilogy, so i read all three books, all of them were very good, i did not regret reading it.
This book is about Marjorie, a girl who has been reunited with a boy she knew in her childhood, only he is now dead, Wendell, Marjorie along with her friend Eliza help Wendell find out how he died, for me this is my favorite of the entire trilogy
4.5 Stars out of 5

What an intricately layered, emotionally resonant conclusion to the series. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Brenna Thummler is an auto-read author for me. I love her work, and Lights was no exception. She treats her characters with care and creates illustrations that wow—there were so many times I had to stop scrolling and just soak in the beautiful atmosphere.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Oni Press for a free advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

Another exceptional volume of this series. Thummler found the most gorgeous way to end this series and it was a gorgeous read as always!

I can't express the beauty I found in this series, but especially in this final edition. In here is fear, freid, friendship, and love. Reminders of how hard it is to be different and how joyful it can be when you find that kindred spirit.
I'm both sorry and happy the story has found it's conclusion.
Highly recommend.
Thanks to @netgalley for the opportunity to read this eArc in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Lights is the third and concluding volume of the Sheets trilogy.

I was so excited for this book and to find out more about Wendell's story! It was so heart-breaking to discover how he died, and it truly got me close to tears.

The art style as usual is very beautiful and I especially loved this volume because it is set in winter and there are so many beautiful landscapes full of snow, it is truly gorgeous.

I also loved seeing the development of Marjorie and Eliza's friendship after the events of Delicates, I feel like they both have grown so much.

Overall, this is also a very bittersweet volume because it's the last one, and I myself don't fare really well with endings of things. They make me too sad. But it was truly a very good closing we got here, the last few pages left me feeling very emotional.

I'm so glad this series of books exists, I wish I got to read them when I was 14, but I'm glad the young people of today can have access to such a beautiful story, not just because of the visual part, but the themes that are discussed and how they are presented in the story.

The Sheets trilogy will always remain one of my favorite graphic novel series! I recommend it a lot!

It seem slower paced than the other two. However, it still got me in the feels in the end. This author definitely knows how to make great endings. Love the art also.

The sheets trilogy is nothing short of a masterpiece to me. I adored getting to know each of these characters in each installment and how their stories interwove as the story of their friendship, losses, adventures and growth. These stories aren’t something easy to forget. I was so excited and honored to be able to read this through netgalley. Always keep writing stories so dang meaningful, these are stories I’ll never forget.

"Lights" is the perfect conclusion for the Sheets trilogy. Here we follow the ghost Wendell in his quest to find out the reason why he died, Marjorie and her dilema of wanting to be friends with the girls who bullied her other friend, Eliza, and Eliza learning to navigate life and social relationships.

The story go back to themes like family, friendship, solitude and mental health, which permeated the first 2 volumes and couldn't be different in this one. I felt deeply emotional at the end and I'm already missing all the characters.

This was such a wonderful, bittersweet conclusion to one of my absolute favourite graphic novels series. Our protagonists' have come so far from where we first encountered them and I loved every moment of watching them grow. What a lovely way to leave them off

This was the best ending for this trilogy, I was sobbing by the end!
Although the drawing style isn’t my favourite, I really liked all the colours that were used.
Everyone should read these 3 books because it’s so an important story!

I’ve read the first two books in the series before reading this one to fully grasp the plot. These graphic novels definitely caught my heart and are one of the best of this kind that I’ve read.

Delicates, being the last book in the series, closed the story and explained Wendell’s death and the situation around it. I really enjoyed this closure, I thought it was well executed and interesting. I’m glad that Marj found the way to keep in touch with both Eliza and her new friends.

To be completely honest, I think the second book, Delicates, was my favourite but Lights was a very pleasant read as well.

I would definitely recommend this whole series to anyone who likes reads with strong mental health mention but also to those who like some cute supernatural themes!

Thank you to Oni Press and NetGalley for a digital copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

what a gorgeous ending to the trilogy. Lots of talk about friendship, grief, moving on and discovering the truth. These graphic novels are gorgeously coloured and I’m gonna miss Wendell! Loads to unpick in this and loads to talk about. Really enjoyed it

“The ghosts tell me I should forget my past and move on, but Marjorie, I don’t want to lose that part of myself.”

In the third installment and conclusion of the series, we reunite with Marjorie, Wendell, and Eliza. The trio of friends tackle friendship challenges and seek to learn more about Wendell’s life and death. I appreciated Marjorie’s character development in this book and also the mystery component in the story. As always, the illustrations were incredibly well done. The ending was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

Thank you to Oni Press and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this title.

"Lights" is the third book in this series by Brenna Thummler, following up "Sheets" and "Delicates." Marjorie and Eliza are still trying to navigate middle school and Marjorie has mixed feelings about some former friends. Her and Eliza are best friends, but can they stay friends if Marjorie resolves her differences with some of the kids that bullied Eliza? Can people change? Meanwhile, the girls and Wendell the ghost need to find out more about Wendell's life. He can only remember a few details, but maybe he will be able to rest if he discovers how and why he died, and if anyone cared about him.
Another heartfelt, emotional book done right by Thummler.

Sheets is one of my favourite graphic novel series I’ve ever read and this final book was the most perfect conclusion to the story. As always the art was just beautiful, there was so many stunning pages! The story was both heartbreaking and heartwarming, I went through so many emotions. I adore the characters of Wendell and Marjorie- but this time Marjorie’s dad stole the show as my favourite character. I hope we get to read another series from this author in the future.
Thank you NetGalley, I was really looking forward to reading this one and it did not disappoint!

A beautiful conclusion to the series focusing on friendship, grief and found family. The art work is amazing and the story is fast paced, intriguing and a little bit heart breaking, but in the best way.

‘All you remember is the bad, even when you try so hard to focus on the good.’
‘It’s much harder to create light than it is to extinguish it.’

There were lots of poignant moments and I think this is a wonderful graphic novel for people to read while in school and relate to the experiences of Marjorie, Elise and Wendell,

Thank you to the publishers and netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.

This series is adorable and the final volume did not disappoint. I love that even among the cute, the author manages to discuss heavy topics like parental death, grief, self-harm, and harm ideation as well as other more middle grade familiar topics like making friends and what awaits in high school. All in the background of ghosts and laundry. Print is best but I appreciated reading this via NetGalley. Thanks for the advanced copy!
