This finale to the Sheets series is full of heart and gives readers the answers they had been looking for. The art is cute and I love the ghost as a sheet that loves her family's laundry mat. We learn about Wendell's life and Majorie learns about life and friends.
I love this series and this was a great ending.

This book wraps up the series very nicely. We get closure for Wendell. Marjorie makes progress with her friendships. This book in the series delves more into who the characters are as people more than the first two books which was thoroughly enjoyable.

This graphic novel was one of my favorites I read of the year. All of the characters were amazing. I adored the choice of colors within the art style, and how the artist chose to draw the characters more cartoon and stylized than realistic people.

This story follows two friends as they try to solve the death of their ghost friend Wendell. The story goes through the difficulty of middle school and having friends, guilt, loss, and learning to be supportive. I think this would be a great read for my young cousin, and will buy her a copy upon the release date.

Wow. I was a fan of the first book, but I may like the third even more. It was good, but also so sad. The art was beautiful I cannot wait to get my hands on the physical copy. It is such a beautiful tribute to grief. Love it!

Lights is the final graphic novel in the Sheets trilogy. Wendall, the boy ghost, wants to figure out how he died. And his friends are there to help him. This is my favorite of the trilogy.

I seriously LOVE this series. The artwork phenomenal. The storyline beautiful. Don’t let the artwork fool you into thinking this is something light and fluffy. I swear I teared up reading this one. With each book, they combine the supernatural element of Wendell and his fellow ghosts with realistic mental health and relationship issues.

as expected, a great ending to a great series. getting to see wendell again was amazing, i love that little ghost boy and i'm not ready to let him go.

Marjorie, Eliza, and Wendell work to find out how Wendell died. They know he drowned, but it might not have been accidental. Marjorie and Eliza's friendship is tested when Marjorie starts hanging out with some of Eliza's old bullies. Marjorie's dad tries to make up for being absent.

This book is a great conclusion to the Sheets trilogy. Brenna Thummler's style and tone is consistent throughout the series. It tackles tough topics like bullies, friendship, and death but you can see the characters grow and develop as the series goes on. The illustrations are beautiful and a great way to end the series.

‘Lights’ is the wonderful conclusion to Brenna Thummler’s ‘Sheets’ trilogy all about a girl named Marjorie and a ghost named Wendell. I loved the first two volumes, but this one especially made me cry as we learnt more about Wendell’s life before his death. This volume is cosy but heart-wrenching as it follows the characters through grief, friendship, and growing up, all expressed through beautiful storytelling and compelling artwork. The characters continue to feel so real and individual, and whilst I’m sad that this story is over, the ending feels right. I will definitely be buying my own paperbacks of the whole series at some point.

This was just stunning. So emotional and raw. I absolutely loved the first two graphic novels, Sheets and Delicates, and Lights was the ending that I wanted to the series.

I loved continued character development of Majorie, Eliza and Wendell. Their little trio is just beautiful and I love the bond that has grown over the three books. It was also nice to see both Marjorie and Eliza coming out of their comfort zones and accepting new people into their group. The ending had me shedding tears, it was just gorgeous.

I am so happy that we got to find out what actually happened to Wendell and what his life was like before he died. Although super emotional, it was really beautiful for him to discover and remember how loved he was and that people were there for him. It must be incredibly difficult to forget all your memories and I'm glad that Wendell was able to get his back.

Although I am super sad that this series has ended, I will definitely be pre-ordering a physical copy of Lights and I will absolutely be rereading these in the future.

The cover art was beautiful and made me want to see what it was about, inside the colour palette and art of this book was beautiful and almost calming.

The story itself deals with death, memories, perception, friendship and so much more. There's an element of mystery to it too and it never feels rushed or dialogue heavy, the art speaks for itself and keeps the story progressing. I think that in itself is quite amazing. It had me hooked from the first page. I realise that this is volume three of a series so you bet I am going to seek out and read the first two. I think I have found a new artist to follow and I am so happy about that.

In short I would recommend this graphic novel to anyone, especially those in a reading slump and not sure where to start. It very easy to read and it's not overwhelming. It's like a hug in a book and I LOVE those types of books. Five stars.

My heart. I felt for these characters. I just want to hug them and make sure they're all okay. I know they're fictional, but the emotion is so strong in this book!

A perfect conclusion to a very sweet trilogy. We finally get to learn Wendell’s story and everything comes around for a very satisfying conclusion for all the main characters.

A brilliant end to the trilogy, Lights was both illuminating and fulfilling in both story and character.

I have to admit, I wasn´t the biggest fan of the first in this series. The second installment? A five star.
So, to say I was a bit nervous about this last book in the series, is putting it lightly.
But I´m glad to say, this one did not disappoint. I thought it was well crafted and we finaly got some answers about our favorite little ghost.

I didn't think I would enjoy this series when I started it. I'm not a huge fan of media discussing ghosts since it's usually repetitive. However, this series changed my opinion. Throughout this series, we follow Marjorie and her discovery/friendship with a spirit named Wendell. The audience and Marjorie are then taken on a journey to uncover details of Wendell's death. In "Lights", we finally get the answers to the audience's questions in an ending that was done very well. One of the highlights of this series is that the author can blend lighthearted moments with serious discussions like mental health, friendships, and death. Overall, I felt this story ended beautifully, and can't wait to see what else the author comes out with.

This was amazing to say the least. A beautiful and might I say “delicate” conclusion to a very heartfelt trilogy. Brenna Thummler provided an inclusive and gentle commentary on the complexities of friendships. The story approached sensitive themes of grief, loss and emotional well-being with much care. In doing so, the adaption of these sensitive topics, enhanced the reading experience and allowed for a richer/personal connection to the text. I thoroughly enjoyed the “lights” motif that was permeated throughout the story. This allowed the attendance to sensitive topics less overtly and with rather a balanced distribution.

I absolutely adored the colour scheme in these graphic’s particularly. I found the colour scheme allowed for a very structured experience that didn’t appear repetitive. I think we all long for a friendship like Majorie, Eliza and Wendell. I found each of these characters showcased very different perspectives to “living”, in Wendell’s case life after death. Despite, their differences and oddities, I think this established an in-depth bond and connection between the characters. The story was neatly tied together and particularly Wendell’s story. I would definitely recommend this book, if you’re looking for a heartfelt story with a ghostly twist.

Brenna Thummler’s graphic novel, Lights, is an absolutely spellbinding conclusion to the trilogy, where the reader is transported back into the world of Marjorie, Eliza and Wendell for one final adventure. It’s everything that I needed right now, a cosy, low-stakes story that still had a profound level of emotional depth, exploring themes of grief and identity. Thummler’s art style is also intoxicating, making me want to leap right into the world, and allowing her to blend fantastical elements seamlessly with introspection. I’m so sad to have to leave these characters now, after becoming so attached to them, but witnessing their personal growth throughout the series makes this all the more bittersweet. I implore you to indulge and read it for yourself. everyone needs a little bit of love from a friendly ghost like Wendell.

WOW!!!!!! This book y'all!! What an absolutely perfect conclusion to the Sheets series. I'm blown away at the realness of these characters and the growth they achieve together as friends. There are beautiful perspectives of life and death in this one specifically and I'm truly touched. This series is so special.
