This book includes a lot of practical strategies for shifting the mental focus and attitude in a class. As an upper high school teacher, I found most of these would be too 'basic' for my seniors, but I think they would be very suitable for primary school students or even some middle school classes. I would recommend this for anyone who is new to teaching and looking for brain break activities.

This book has some really fun ideas! As a new teacher I will be keeping it handy for future use. I really like the discussion at the front of the book regarding Needs Based Teaching. One of the most important things you can do in your classroom is to build relationships. This book sounds like a great addition to that!

A very useful book for teachers struggling to control rowdy classes. The writing style is clear and informative but always retains a sense of humour, and the cartoon illustrations sprinkled throughout the text add to a sense of fun, which is also important to retain as a teacher. An excellent resource for teachers at all stages of their career.
