Think Faster, Talk Smarter: How to Speak Successfully When You're Put on the Spot by Matt Abrahams is such a great book for anyone who struggles with public speaking. I loved the way the book is structured, dealing with the issues that prevent successful speaking and then dealing with very specific scenarios that might be faced. Readers of various speaking experience will still benefit from this book. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

I had high hopes for this book to be a magical fix to the paralysis I often feel when speaking. The book offered some good suggestions of exercises to try (i,.e., improve-based). I did find this book somewhat dry.

Overall this book was very insightful. As an educator you always have to think fast because of the situations we are put in. I would recommend this book to my fellow educators.
