Back home for a project for the magazine she works for, one of the first things Noelle Curry sees when she gets to town is Gil Thomas, her old flame, wearing nothing but a pair of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer swim trunks. Wowza! But she’s not here for romance. She’s there to plan the wedding for a set of twins marrying a set of twins, and she must pull it together quickly and without no glitches. Is that even possible?
Gil is now a single dad to 7-year-old Josie, who wants a new mommy for Christmas. He isn’t interested in romance at the moment, yet seeing Noelle again makes him yearn for more. But Noelle plans to leave right after the holiday, and Gil has no plans to ever leave.
Noelle and Gil might not think things could work between them, but Josie and Kismet cookies have other plans.
A fun second chance romance. small town charm, wonderful characters, and a HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lovely second chance surrounded by a background of Christmas.
Noelle is back in Twilight as the wedding whisperer after not visiting for 13 years. The first thing she sees is a polar plunge and the object of her teenage fantasies Gill Thomas looking even better than he did back then. She has a job to do pulling off a double wedding for her magazine with no time for distractions, and he is a single dad with no intentions of bringing anyone into his family who’s not staying. Of course, Josie, Gill’s daughter, wants one thing for Christmas… a mommy.
This is a lovely installment of the Twilight, Texas series. I enjoyed the characters Lori Wilde has created and how they come together naturally. It is always a plus to see people from previous books and perhaps get a sense of another upcoming story. There were some funny moments as Noelle navigated the twin brides and twin grooms through their journey of wedding planning and cold feet. Josie was a feisty and adorable seven-year-old, who knows what she wants and the interactions with her and Noelle were sweet. Noelle and Gill’s HEA was pleasant and entertaining. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.
I love Lori Wilde and this one is no exception to her great writing. I have a list of favorite authors that I look forward to with their Christmas books and Lori Wilde is one of them. Her characters are so relatable and she gives you that hometown Christmas feeling with her book.
Noelle Curry is headed back to her hometown to orchestrate the weddings of the year with her client twins that are getting married at Christmas time. Noelle is always leery about going back home and seeing her high school crush but she sure doesn't have to wait long this time to run into him. Gil Thomas is participating in the Polar plunge the same day that Noelle is getting into town.
When Noelle sees Gil in his reindeer swim trunks she knows that she has to get a closer look so she has her taxi pull over and she makes her way down to the water where she can get a clear view. Noelle thinks that she is wasting her time and that Gil will have no time for her because he is a single dad that is focused on only his daughter. The flirting that takes place in this book is so cute and realistic that it leave you say "AAAWWWW!!"
As Noelle starts planning everything for the twin's wedding, she finds herself in close contact with Gil on several occasions. Gil is always a gentleman and makes sure he helps Noelle in every way that he can. You can tell that the high school crushes never went away, just one Noelle moving to a different state,
I know you will enjoy this story as I did and fall in love with the characters and town. You will be left longing for more from Lori Wilde and the characters in this book. I promise you won't be upset that you took the time to read this one!

Noelle Curry returns to Twilight, Texas as a wedding planner for a pair of twins. Noelle is known as the wedding whisperer, and the twins won her services as part of a TV show promotional. Noelle used to visit Twilight as a child when her grandparents lived there. Her teen crush was Gil Thomas who was an older neighbor boy. He loved riding in rodeos and playing music. Now he is a widow with a young daughter. The attraction is there. But Noelle is leery of commitment after watching the many marriages of her mother.
This is the 14th of the Twilight, Texas series but can stand alone. I’ve read the last few of these holiday stories. If you are a Wilde fan you won't be disappointed. I like the story. It is straightforward, and without big drama. The dialogue can fall into cheesy or occasionally. And the child fell into a mix of acting both younger and older than her age. Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC via NetGalley and I am leaving an honest review. (3.5 Stars)
It's been awhile since I dove into one of Lori Wilde's books. This one did not disappoint. I laughed, I cried, I avoided reading a page--and then went back and read it anyways. It made for a truly enjoyable evening. Loved the main characters. The struggles were believable and the story was fun. Highly recommend.

“The Christmas Brides of Twilight” by Lori Wilde
Loved this Story !!
A fun contemporary romance with a bit of spice. But mostly a story of being brave enough to dare to give and receive love, the ever after kind of love. This was a very good read and I truly enjoyed my time within this story. I do love a story that has me sharing a laugh and even a tear or two, or three. Happy Reading ! !
Note: This review expresses my honest opinion.

So happy to be back in Twilight, Texas! This is a wonderful series and I have really enjoyed all of the Christmas books. Twilight is filled with nostalgia, small town sweetness and adorable traditions such as kismet cookies and the sweetheart tree legend. Although there are multiple Christmas books in this series, this book can definitely be a standalone. However, to really immerse yourself into the magic of Twilight, I suggest you read a couple of the others.
In the Twilight Christmas Brides (#14), we meet Gil, a young widowed father, who is a sweet, well-mannered but gorgeous man who puts his seven year old daughter first and doesn’t have any time for relationships. That becomes an issue when Noelle Curry, his old neighbor, comes back into town to plan a dual wedding. Noelle has never had a normal live, being that she was raised by celebrities and she craves the close community that Twilight offers. However, she also has some trust issues since she has never experienced anyone putting her first. Gil and Noelle form a friendship and then share some explosive chemistry. Unfortunately, that 6 week timeline comes up quick and they have decide whether they both want to take a chance.
The side characters really complemented and enriched the story as well. Josie, Gil’s daughter was adorable and I wanted to be her defender from mean girls. There is a time when Noelle visited the sweetheart tree, and I wish she would’ve shared that with Gil later. 😉 That would have closed the loop on that.
I highly recommend! Very romantic with plenty of steam too!
Thank you NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
Noelle Curry is back in Twilight. It's the only place that she has ever felt grounded. With her famous parents who get married just because, she has become a wedding planner. Now she has the opportunity to grow her business. Twins in Twilight won the bridal contest. She has 6 weeks to plan their wedding. Twins are marrying twins and they aren't always on the same page. Add in a mom who wants things her way and you can get chaos. Noelle thrives in this environment. Little did she know that Gil Thomas was still in Twilight and better looking than she remembers. Suddenly that kismet cookie she had all those years ago, may suddenly come home to roost. Also in the mix is Gil's daughter Josie. Gil is the man around town. With his help the wedding goes off without a hitch. And yet love, true love has her running scared. Can she have it all if she stays? With a little nudge from her grandparents in heaven, she gets the perfect sign.
Really enjoyed the story of Noelle and Gil and the famous wedding of the Buckhorn. Noelle, a wedding planner was the judge in this contest and picked this one because it was located in Twilight ,Texas . A place she spent time with her grandparents in the past. She had had a teenage crush on Gil. . From the moment she gets to Twilight she sees Gil and are the old feelings there. Following the journey will Noelle and Gil as well as the BUckhorn wedding. A VERY GOOD READ.
Lori Wilde knows how to write wonderful small town romance & this book is no exception!! Noelle Curry comes to Twilight (her grandparents had lived there)to plan a wedding for reality TV & runs into her girlhood crush Gil Thomas, now a single dad. It’s a beautifully written book with all the feels, healing & being able to move on from the past to find happiness. A definite must read, you will love this couple & this book! I voluntarily read for an honest review after receiving arc from Netgalley & the publisher.
Sweet Christmas story! I always love a “first love years later” book! This is a fun ‘escape from the real world’ read! And it’s always fun to visit Twilight! If you’re looking for a light holiday story look no further!
What a lovely story! Small town, double wedding with double twins. Love is in the air. Noelle is back in the small town her grandparents had lived in. The teenage crush is still in town too. But Noelle has a wedding to plan. Her mom is a pain. The bride's mom is just a bit nasty. and a tattle tale. Stir it all together for a wonderful holiday story. Loved it!
A holiday romace must! I adore the Twilight TX series and will read it as long as she writes it. This second chance romance has a first place spot in my heart and shelf. 5 stars.

Lori Wilde gives you a feel good Christmas story wrapped in her book. It's an entertaining love story between a wedding planner and a single dad with a child that has a Christmas wish for mommy.
I did enjoy this book but wouldn't recommend it for my teen/young adult students. It would be more for upper teen and college aged and up.
A Christmas romance with a double wedding. What's not to love? Some drama, some laughs, and lots of Christmas cheer. Nothing too deep makes this the perfect Christmas romance. Can be read as a stand alone.
I requested to read and review this book for free from Harper Collins Publishing. This was a great story about love, forgiveness, belief in yourself and others. This book has drama and a little bit of mystery. Can be read anywhere but by a mature reader. Noelle hasn't had the best role models for love. Can someone who doesn't believe in love change their mind? Or does the example she had show her real love doesn't exist. Gil thought he had love but was it actually more lust? Can things from our past shape our future? Do superstition exist? Does true love exist? There are no guarantees in life but would you want to take the leap or play it safe?
What a sweet, feel good, holiday romance.
Gil is a single dad of an adorable 7 year old who wants a new mommy for Christmas more than anything else. Noelle is in town as a bridal planner, organizing a wedding for Christmas Eve. Noelle spent a lot of time in Twilight when she was growing up visiting her grandparents. As a teen she had a huge crush on Gil, who lived across the street. As an adult, that crush has turned into a whole lot more. But he lives a simple life in a small town and she is flying back to her glitzy world in LA the day after Christmas. How can these two worlds meld together to find a happy ever after? Fun story, great characters, and lots of fun Christmas traditions. A must read.

Good read, as usual with Lori Wilde she always entertained with a great love story. Noelle Curry is a successful wedding planner but when she takes on identical twins getting married to identical twins. This endeaver could cement her carrier or ruin it if it fails. Noelle is excited to return to a place she has such warm memories of, including the boy she had such a crush on. Getting there she finds out he's a widower with a young child could fate be bringing her another chance or is it too scary to really give her heart again. Thank you NetGalley and Publishers HarperCollins I definitely recommend this book.
From the first page, I was drawn in by Noelle and Gil. It was magical, healing and steamy. The town of Twilight would have Scrooge loving Christmas. What a better place to find love.
