Press Release by Leslie O'Sullivan follows Meg McGrath, the Irish head of PR for the hit show, The Chieftain's Son. Her boss plans to put a more experienced PR person in charge of publicity, demoting Meg. She negotiates a deal to retain her position with her boss, Dashell Everett. Her time at San Diego's Cali Con becomes a competition to prove her value and keep her job. Cian Malley is the head of PR for the network's sister show. He offers to help her navigate her way through the con.

This is a good beach read as well as a glimpse into the insanity of "Cali Con" in San Diego. It combines pressure, suspense, and romance in equal measures.

The story kept me reading and the characters lingered in my mind afterwards. I recommend the reader give this book a try.

Thanks to NetGalley for the review but this book was not for me. It was a real struggle to finish this book. Reading the blurb I thought I would love it however that was not the case.
