This was a very goofy book but very fun and educational too. We loved Matthew and his Yeti friend and they helped us understand big feelings.

My son loves the yeti series. This one wasn’t my personal favorite but it made him laugh and I love seeing him so engaged when reading. I think this was a unique way to explore “big feelings” with kids.

This is the cutest book. It deals with children's emotions and how they come out. Yeti is used to show how someone acts by how they feel. This would be a good classroom read aloud and then to have a discussion about when yetis should come out.

Cute little picture book with a positive message about big emotions. Can be used with small children and older children alike. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an ARC.

Adorable and funny book, to show kids it's good to let your Yeti run wild, as long as you're using it for good. The cute illustrations make it even better

Matthew is a little kid with big feelings he can't always control. Sometimes, he expresses those feelings through the Yeti who comes to visit, which usually makes its presence felt in his tummy.

Luckily both his parents and his teacher understand that when Matthew has the Yeti visiting, things are going to get rambunctious! A lively day at school follows, with many of the children wishing that they had their own Yeti.

Matthew's teacher explains to him that she also has a Yeti, but her one is gentle and kind. Likewise, his mother explains that a Yeti's strength should only ever be used for good.

Matthew appreciates what they are saying, but a streak of mischief keeps him asserting that his Yeti - who can move all over his body, even into his hair! - is a different kind of creature altogether...

This is a cute story, and the rhyming text works well. My favourite thing was Martin Moron's adorable illustrations. The message may require a little bit of explanation, but most children should certainly enjoy the colourful pictures and the sheer joy that bursts out of the story.

We love a good yeti story especially one that’s as helpful as this yeti! A great concept of using your inner yeti to make you brave, make you strong and to feel protected.

I LOVE this book!!! A Tummy Yeti – and he’s EVERYWHERE! This book was an absolute laugh out loud joy to read (especially out loud) – the illustrations are simply amazing!! I can’t wait to introduce my grandmuffin to the Yeti (or would that be Yeties???) Thank you to NetGalley and Meredith Rusu for a digital copy this amazing book – There’s A Yeti in My Tummy in exchange for an honest review. **Bonus points for rhyming, double points for making me laugh snort!!**

Cute story. My 5 year old loved the graphics and wants to tell us that HE has a Yeti in his tummy now. His inner-yeti needs to be tamed, just like in the book. Target age should be preK-2nd grade. Will recommend to all in a younger age range.

Thank you for the ARC in exchange for our honest opinions.

I received an electronic ARC from 4U2B Books & Media through NetGalley.
Rusu shows readers how feelings can become really big. The Yeti inside this young boy gets loud, active, rude, and rambunctious as the day goes on. We see him move from place to place in the boy's body - tummy, feet, bottom, head, etc. The illustrations capture the energy when this Yeti and others come out to play. I appreciate the teacher and mom talking about their Yetis and how they learned to be calmer. Terrific book for families to read together when the strong feelings come into play. Also, good for classrooms to start the year.

I loved this book's approach to normalizing anxiety and showing children different ways to cope. It was very sweet and my 6 year old really enjoyed reading it together. I received this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

This book is certainly going to make readers giggle, but if the "Yeti" is supposed to be a feeling, I am not sure which it is meant to be.
The description calls the Yeti "strong feelings". The book does have a moment near the end where it mentions using your "Yeti" to help you feel brave and use it for good things like hugs.

Overall, a cute book that would make a fun read aloud time. But I wouldn't use it to teach kids about emotions.

This book was so adorable, I loved everything about it, the illustrations were so well done, they suited the book perfectly, the story was amazing as well, even thought is very short I could really connect with the characters and feel theirs struggles.
I’m sure the kids are going to be just as enthralled with this amazing book as I was.
I will definitely recommend!

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this early copy

This book was such a cute, silly take on handling big feelings. Sometimes your feelings feel SO BIG, that they're hard to contain and show theirselves in many different ways. Maybe a child acting out is really just them feeling the need to wiggle, and maybe them talking too loud or interrupting is just them feeling so many thoughts at the same time. In this book, it uses the idea of a Yeti being inside of you just begging to come out to represent those really big thoughts and feelings. The illustrations were great and it kept my little one very entertained!

I think the book missed a great opportunity to set up why the main character’s Yeti showed up. The story didn’t even mention the main character’s name so was harder for the children to make a connection to the story. Students want to see themselves in the character so it was dependent on the reader to stop and fill in a lot of the blanks. Was a great start but was wishing for a little more and the ending didn’t move the story in either direction.

This was a really cute book. I really enjoyed the point of the book, especially with a 3 year old who is very hyper, but I wish it showed the teacher and parents showing calming the Yeti more instead of just putting the Yeti to bed.

I read this to my 2 children 1 with autism and 1 with ADHD. This was such a great story for us as we already use Yeti from slumberkins for calming and mindfulness so we absolutely loved this story and will be sharing it with the slumberkins community! This was such a good representation of my little guys feelings and they giggled and laughed all through the story.

I recieved this free copy for my honest review from NetGalley.

I have mixed feelings on There's a yeti in my Tummy. It is a funny story and gets kids laughing but it can also give kids the idea that it is okay for them to act up in school. Matthew has a Yeti to help him deal with his emotions and feelings. Thank you to NetGalley, 4U2B books and Media, and Meredith Rusu for the ARC.

This book discusses all types of feelings and attributes them to a yeti all over his body. It is cute, but it promotes the idea of kids acting crazy.

This was a cute and silly book definitely perfect for kids and definitely would be a great and entertaining book to add to your kiddos shelf and a very entertaining book to read to kids in school and library settings.

It can be a lot of words and lengthy so older children 5-6 years and up should enjoy it more !
