Kids will love this book. The story and pictures are hilarious. Kids can relate to the restless feeling of having a "yeti in your tummy." This is the first in a series of books about big emotions, and I like the message that it's okay to have big feelings. As an adult, I was just expecting a little more about handling these big emotions. But some books are just meant to be fun, and this one hits the mark.

I would rate this 3 1/2 stars. This book is cute. It’s a great explanation for dealing with bodily noises and emotions. Its illustrations are gorgeous. The rhyme is great for early literacy. It’s a little long for me personally and the needs of my job.

Misses the mark - I reread the synopsis and realized the tone of the book changed. While reading, my mind wondered where the story would go. Did the child have mental health diagnoses? Schizophrenia or Autism? The author attempted to convey -- I think that there is a little devil or Yeti in all of us, and we have to learn how to behave. This fell short of the good intentions, if that is what they were.

The illustrations are fun. There is a page of Yeti's and I saw stationary and junk journal pages, even a jigsaw puzzle.

The children, adults and situations are playful. I would not want to be the babysitter explaining the parenting situations to a young child. The potential is here, and perhaps with an edit, the purpose could be made clear.

I giggled a lot during this book because who wouldn't want a yeti inside them to explain why we act crazy and over the top at points in our lives. The fact that the yeti moved throughout the kids body throughout the whole story is relatable. I also liked that the yeti's inside the adults are more calm because normally as adults we aren't as hyper active as children.

The art work was cute and colorful just like I would have wanted when I was a child picking out the books I wanted to read. The main child's yeti was a little creepy looking at points but that's quite alright because he was still cute in the long run.

This is a cheerful rhyming story with great illustrations. My children loved this and wanted to read over and over.

This was very cute, but I would have loved for it to include some ways for children to calm the yeti. Thanks NetGalley for the e-arc!

I read this book together with my 5 year old daughter and she thought it was really funny and we had plenty of laughs and giggles as we made our way through the story.

The book was easy to read and follow, the illustrations were nice, bright and clear and they didn’t crowd the text so she was happy reading the book to me.

The book wasn’t one with really deep feelings, it was high-hearted and sometimes that is just the perfect book to read after a long day at school to put a smile on your face

In the words of my 5 year old the Yeti was a bit naughty and very cheeky! The book touched on kids and the amount of energy that they have and that it is not always that easy for them to control.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended!

The illustrations in this book are amazing! Each page is bright and colorful. The meaning behind this book is really sweet. Sometimes little people have BIG energy and that’s ok! The rhyme and prose is beautifully written. It’s a great children’s book.

This is a cute book with great illustrations. It was a little unclear what emotion the yeti was supposed to represent, from the description I thought it was going to be anger. My kids enjoyed the book and they thought the yetis were cute.

Thank you NetGalley and 4U2B Books & Media for the opportunity to review this book in advance of publication.

This book was cute, but I was unsure about what the yeti truly represents in this story. I think it is a cute story for kids and they will definitely enjoy it, but I feel the message behind it is somewhat vague and not very distinguishable.

This book had my kiddos and myself giggling and laughing the whole way through. From a yeti in his tummy to a yeti in his hair, the Yeti appeared EVERYWHERE. I also loved how the teacher played along when it came to the yeti tagging along to school.

This book was enjoyable to read with my son and it flows very nicely. The illustrations are also superb. While the strategies are clear and children’s feelings are clearly validated, the “yeti” itself was unclear in what it was suppose to represent as it seemed to be drastically different in different settings (being loud, crazy hair, etc). The overall message was clear but if you are looking for something more focused for big emotions this isn’t it.

I read this book with my four year old son and he absolutely loved it. He laughed throughout the book, especially at the mention of the yeti’s butt. The text is engaging and the illustrations are very cute. I could see this becoming a favorite in our house.

This book was sweet nonsensical fun.

The illustrations were silly and anything with a yeti in it is sure to get a child’s attention.

Would make a good bedtime story.
