First of all, thank you NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book

Second of all, this was a DNF for me. The reviews themselves didn't leave me inspired to read this, in fears that I would be disappointed, and unfortunately I was.

This book has a great sounding synopsis. A group of witches fighting to save the environment that they derive their powers from. That's not what I got though. Instead, it was a book written while Trump was in power, and was essentially a big "F- you" to him. It discussed problems the environment was facing, and how the witches wanted to save it by reusing and recycling. Of course, the "Fox" was brought in, as a source for factual news. How original. I got through the first few pages and actually thought the prose was beautiful, but then they introduced "Orange Man" and I couldn't do it. I hate Trump, and while this book leaned towards my own views on the environment, it was just one eye roll after the next. I tried. It's a short book, maybe 50 pages or so, but I just couldn't do it. A great premise that was a huge letdown. There are so many ways this book could have brought attention to the climate crisis, but instead, it turned into a political soap opera.

Moving on.

There was too many underlying themes in this book. By the description I was expecting a cute witchy book. That is not what this is. This has hidden personal views about thr world now not a fiction witchy book. I could not finish this book.
