Great book. I enjoyed The thought provoking questions and activities. I highly recommend this book to anyone approaching 50 or beyond.
Thanks to #Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. Whilst this wasnt a bad book, it just wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting more anecdotes and advice on embracing aging etc but it was heavily filled with recipes which I wasn't expecting. I should have read more about it instead of rushing into reading it, just based on the title alone and where I am at in life. I felt like it dint offer anything new. It was just a nothing new read for me. #netgalley #lovinglifeat50 #tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #getlitsy #thestorygraph #bookqueen #bookstagram
This wasn’t a great fit for me personally but I wish the author well. I have found other books on aging that resonated better in terms of health, diet and psychological advice. This is an encouraging, light read for women in her demographic though.
Although quite a bit older than 50, I found this book entertaining and inspirational. There was advice , encouragement and support on every page. The pages were easy to read and sprinkled with humour. The recipes made me drool. I will be buying this for all of my more mature friends.
