Raynie is a firefighter, Cohen is a firefighter, but the question is can they stand each other long enough to to put out fires, especially the one that burns between them! Great read
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own
Enjoyed it. Likable characters and an engaging storyline full of drama, suspense, action, a little fun, romance, wildfires-of course, and dogs in the Alaska wilderness! Raynie and Cohen definitely pushed each other’s buttons and it was fun to watch the tension and chemistry between the two grow from more of a frenemies situation to romance with a HEA. I will definitely look for more books in this series.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
This book was amazing! The tension and arguments between Cohen and Raynie is adorable. They can’t stand each other from the moment they met but deep down the respect and love they have for each other is the reason for the disagreements. They finally start to get along and Cohen feels like he is finally making headway with Raynie after lots of tries to make her see him for who he is. These two are extremely strong willed and you can’t help but reading to find what will happen next!
Overall, I really enjoyed this. I am sucker for a firefighter story and i loves reading about Alaska and the different wildfires. The book kept you on gripping the pages (or in my case kindle!). Raynie and Cohen had great chemistry, and their back and forth banter was suoer enjoyable to read! I hope this series continues.

The plot for this book had everything I wanted in a book. Strong female, enemies-to-lovers, dangerous past, and firefighter action. This could have been so much better. I was a little let down that the dialogue was a little lame and the action wasn't that interesting. Also, there was a small plotline that was left tangling.
